Even worse, the crunchy envelope was unappealing with no flavor. For the first time ever, one in our party tasted it and refused to eat more because she just didn't like it! I enjoyed my Kung Pao shrimp and the desserts we ordered.”

“Had a very enjoyable dinner there on a Friday night with my wife, son and his wife. No problem parking within a block and was seated right away for a 630 reservation. Restaurant was only about half full. For appetizers we split the tempura mushrooms which was one of the highlights of the night—very enjoyable. For entrees, we had the fish special, two ducks and the risotto. All were excellent with the fish probably being the best. The desert menu is not huge and we ended up wandering down the street for ice cream. Very enjoyable night out.”

He also asked if I wanted it wrapped separately; labeled.. wasn’t necessary for me but felt worth praising. “Ordered a carnalitas burrito for dining in. This thing was thicker around than my forearm! 🌯🤣 The fillings included lots of shredded chicken, more shredded chicken, garnishes, and other greens. Free sides available at the side bar included triangle restaurant chips; 8 or so different sauces; thin-sliced as well as ring onions; red chilies, carrots and more.
Ambiance was pretty chill, with light traditional folk music in the background. My lady server was friendly, helpful, and I was served quickly and with no fuss. When I was ready to leave, she volunteered a takeaway bag for the weighty half burrito I couldn't fit down. 😁
Location has plenty of parking, being in a grocery store plaza.
Price-to-size ratio hit just right for a single burrito that massive, although part of the menu is a bit too much for said items. But the rest of the menu seems about low - mid average.”

One of the few places that has a creamy shake that isn't water like in 15 min nor does it have all that foam space filler that is left after a few sips. If it is a flavor that I really like, I'll buy 2 or 3 at a time & freeze them. It's best if you freeze them full so as to keep the consistency a bit better (not so many ice crystals).

“We travelled to Albuquerque and wanted to experience the Indian Pueblo Cultire Center. Since we knew there was a dining option, we arrived hungry and I have to say we couldn’t have selected a better meal stop! Mark was our waiter and we each ordered something different in order to sample as many options as possible. The Pueblo taco was delicious. The chef makes the fry bread and it was worth every bite. After our meal we ordered and shared the Pueblo bread pudding which was so delicious I forgot to take a pic til it was essentially gone! The manager kindly brought one out so I could share a picture with you. If you are going to Albuquerque, this is an experience you will not want to miss!”

We've eaten on the bar/casual side a few times before and the experience there was also positive. Yes, check the prices before you go so you don't get sticker shock. But the truth is, two people could easily have dinner with no wine, appetizer or dessert for around $100.”

My friend had the steak salad and he was overwhelmed with the perfectly seasoned and cooked steak and the balance of salad fixings...he said it was one of the best meals of his life. I had the grilled pork chop, which was huge and exquisitely seasoned to absolute perfection. I chose the feta mash potatoes and the grilled asparagus, a fine accompaniment, so delicious! One of the best meals of my life! The waitstaff were attentive and fun, they humored every request with a focused sincerity. My first bite of the soup was "odd". I wasn't going to say anything because I was very satisfied with yummy bread and salad bit my server noticed and asked. She immediately offered a muiltude of options. I then ordered the potato soup instead. It came out immediately and great. Think, lots of cheese and enough spring onions that added a wonderful addition to the soup. The price was very reasonable and it ended up being a lovely lunch. The waitress did a great job recovering the situation, coming out saying both she and her manager thought the soup tasted and thanked me for bringing it to their attention. Been a while since I've seen good se5vice. Will be going back.”

The waitresses stay busy and do not purposely ignore new customers, they are most likely bogged down with keeping customers happy with delivering orders, refills of coffee, tea or water and a panoply of other duties that they perform. They are not at fault. This restaurant has been in existence for 30 years, I knew it when Loyola, the founder opened it and I know that her daughter Sara is doing a fantastic job of continuing the service that Loyola started. I have zero complaints with this restaurant and certainly miss it when I am not in Albuquerque. Albuquerque is very lucky to have a restaurant of this quality.”
