Wow, my first time at Rio Bravo Denny . Mr.
Angel and Ms. Abby attended to me during my visit. They were awesome, as well as the cooks. A robot brought out my food and Ms. Ms. Abby put it on my table and make sure everything thing was ok.
My order was exactly or even batter what I order, what an awesome experience. They were very efficient, my coffee cup was never empty. She made sure it was full at all time.
From the moment they took my order I felt that I was going to have a positive and pleasant experience at Denny.
I really appreciated their above and beyond services. Also, they were very pleasant to talk with. What I’ve experienced tonight I have not seen or experienced in a long time in the food industry. They are definitely an asset to the company.
So, when you get a chance, please visit these two wonderful people who are good what they do, at our local Denny here on Rio Bravo, SW.

Parking: From my experiences I would recommend to sustaining what you are doing now from what I’ve experienced tonight. I strongly believe you have two individuals that I came in contact with during my visit who are very proud and take ownership on what they do.
I always believe to sustain great people they need to be rewarded and recognized there dedication to the establishment. I do hope Mr. Angel and Ms. Abby do get a raise and bonus.
On the other hand, an improvement that I’ve recognize is when you exit or leave the restaurant to go west, you can’t. You have to drive east on Rio Brovo and then make a
U-turn. For now it’s manageable. However, I do hope the city staff have a Master plan to improve or remedy the situation.

I had half of my sandwich be pepper jack and the other American; they asked if I wanted to upgrade for extra cheese… I said no, but I appreciate the offer. One of the few places that has a creamy shake that isn't water like in 15 min nor does it have all that foam space filler that is left after a few sips. If it is a flavor that I really like, I'll buy 2 or 3 at a time & freeze them. It's best if you freeze them full so as to keep the consistency a bit better (not so many ice crystals).

“I got the 48 (rare beef and brisket pho). The pho was well prepared and the broth was quite tasty, but I would have preferred a larger portion for the price (I got a "large", it was just under $14 for the bowl before tip), the extra large was $16.95 before tax or tip, and am glad I didn't order it with such a gap in price between the 2 sizes considering that their "large" was what I'd call a medium at best.

“We have tried to eat every Mexican (not NM) restaurant in the city and have been disappointed by all. Today we ate at Ramona’s Mexican Cafe off of Jefferson, it was PERFECT!!! The service was extremely patient, helpful, kind and attentive. EVERY plate we ordered was fresh, homemade and delicious. The aguas are fresh and not too sweet and made with real ingredients rather than powders. Salsas and chips were homemade and so delicious. My husband had the combo plate with an enchilada, relleno, and tamale. I had the posole, and my son had the queso tortilla smash burgers. I’ve been very critical of places we’ve ate at. I miss fresh, homemade food at restaurants. Everything now tastes frozen and store bought. Not Ramona’s, it was obviously homemade with pride! I’m so impressed! We’ll be back!”

And that was after making a reservation. The event was my son's birthday. We arrived and they didn't have the reservation, so we waited and waited and waited... while they seated two other parties who arrived after us without reservations. (And we were only had a group of three...) we waited at least 25 or 30 minutes. Then when we got seated, they didn't bring the salad until the food was already on the table. They didn't offer a complementary dessert for the birthday bar boy, and especially considering all the mis-steps. There was no effort made to make up for the service drops... It was a terrible disappointment. Especially from a place that I've learned to expect more from.”

“Second time visiting. My five star rating is because it's so great to find a REAL sushi place in Albuquerque. If you can do good sushi in New Mexico, you get an extra star (at least!) from me. Today I visited for lunch and had a good sushi combo. Everything was fresh and tasty, and service was great. My favorite thing is that they do not overload you with rice—neither on the nigiri nor the rolls. Their eel sauce is also especially delicious. I need to come here more often. (Agree with those who say it's not worth upgrading to the "premium" fish options. I did, and didn't feel that was a thing worth paying for.)
Vegetarian options: Haven't had their veggie rolls yet, but next time. They look really good. Also nice tofu options, salad, etc. I would have no issue getting a good meal here as a vegetarian.”

Add in the fact they are indigenous women, and pioneers in the industry and you can’t go wrong here. Cannot recommend it enough! “We went to dinner last night in celebration of my husband’s birthday. From the moment we walked in, we were met by the most delightful hostess. The ambiance and the entrees and wine were fantastic; My husband ordered the filet mignon and I had the chicken dish which were both absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection; the sauces…wow! On the other hand, the desert, a strawberry chiffon cake was a bit underwhelming and not up to the excellence of the entrée. On the way out, we met up with one of the general managers who took the time to ask us about our meal. He couldn’t of been more gracious.The price was not over the top. We look forward to a return visit.”

In particular, I highly recommend trying the “Sole Milanaise” This entree is a Sole Filet Breaded With Panko & Parmesan, Light Lemon Cream Sauce & Capers. The capers and the lemon cream sauce give a both a tart and savory flavor!! Chef Jean Pierre is known for featuring rich sauces that enhance the delicate flavors of his ingredients! 😋 I definitely recommend trying if you are looking for something new!”

“The sushi roll and 25 piece sashimi were both really good. Fish tasted fresh and the sashimi pieces were generous and had nice textures. They served the sashimi platter with fresh wasabi which was a delicious surprise.
Staff was nice enough, but they really never came back to check on us or refill our water. I had to flag down another server to get more ginger. We were sitting at the sushi bar, so maybe that’s a part of it since our backs are turned.”

“Had to wait to be seated. Other people were seated first. Once served the ordering was easy and the waitress was great. When my shrimp and ctab soup came with my salad, it all looked beautiful. My first bite of the soup was "odd". I wasn't going to say anything because I was very satisfied with yummy bread and salad bit my server noticed and asked. She immediately offered a muiltude of options. I then ordered the potato soup instead. It came out immediately and great. Think, lots of cheese and enough spring onions that added a wonderful addition to the soup. The price was very reasonable and it ended up being a lovely lunch. The waitress did a great job recovering the situation, coming out saying both she and her manager thought the soup tasted and thanked me for bringing it to their attention. Been a while since I've seen good se5vice. Will be going back.”

“Can't comment on the food since I didn't try it but their El Mezcalero and Mezcal Old Fashioned are delicious. The latter you still get the smoky Mezcal taste with a little sweetness. The aroma was pleasant to my nostrils. El Mezcalero keeps me coming back. It has freshly pressed pineapple juice, lemon juice, ginger, vermouth and honey that is nicely balanced while still getting the smoky profile of the mezcal. So good that one will be tempted to drink it quickly.
Parking: The parking in front of the building is kinda of narrow but there's more parking on the side, street parking and paid parking nearby.”

The taste reminded me, an "old fogey," of how restaurant food USED to taste... the old deliciousness that has been lost in most places. “We used to go to this neighborhood spot several times a month but became quite disappointed with our meals. We appreciated prices but meals kept getting smaller and several of the long time servers were gone so we quit and hadn't been here for over a year. My dad suggested trying it again for a special dinner. We made reservations for 4 in the bar section where we prefer but we were seated in the dining room. This evening our service was excellent as was our meal. One of our party uses a walker and our server was attentive to her needs. We will resume returning to our neighborhood dinner spot again.”

“A few years back the wife and I made it a thing to hit a melting pot any time we travel near one. Sadly we are running out of locations in the mid west.
The food is always good. Even if it's something I don't care for it's OK. The salads, for example are not ones I particularly enjoy but they are good and well made.
I have a poultry allergy and they always make sure I'm taken care of.
Our server was training a new hire and even with the knowledge gaps and the uncertainty they did a fantastic job.
And of course they went above and beyond. One of the kids noted he loved the pine nuts, so they got him an extra little side. There was also mention of the banana being the best part of dessert so some extra banana was brought out.
I think the food was probably 2nd or 3rd best from the ones we've been too but the service was the best yet. BIG thank you to Treyvon and crew (might have spelled name wrong)”

The ambiance was fantastic--beautiful interior with lovely individual table lights to view the menu and very comfortable seating--atmosphere was great to enjoy a conversation with friends. Great craft cocktails and wine by the glass choices--I recommend the Aviation cocktail and Duckhorn wines. The menu offers traditional Greek as well as a variety of other choices. The Traditional Greek salad is fantastic. For an entree, I enjoyed the branzino fish, the feta mashed potatoes, and roasted carrots. Food and vegetables were cooked to perfection by the chef. The service was fantastic--taking care of us, but not rushing us. I heartily recommend this restaurant for a memorable and enjoyable evening.”

I went back today and ordered my team at work breakfast burritos and they all agreed they are delicious burritos. The eggs were nice and fluffy , bacon was crispy and on point and the chile had a great taste ! 10/10 for sure ! Can’t wait for them to open up the banquet.
