Flock of Moons Brewing Company Brewery •
111 Harvard Dr SE, Albuquerque

“This is without a doubt my new favorite brewery! It checked off all the boxes. Amazing ambience, classy, modern and very very spacious. Tons of room inside and out. Although right around campus it felt secluded and private. The staff was very friendly, chill and happy. Ample selection of brews, lots of IPAs and every one that I tried was extremely tasty. Super solid quality. My friend and I, self proclaimed beer snobs, were blown away at the quality of these beers! No joke. The food truck for Sunday night was the best we have experienced in ABQ . The owner cook fit right in with the quality and mood of this brewery. Had fish tacos, my friend octopus tacos. Best all around tacos we have tried in this city. 10 out of 10 in every category. Even the bathrooms were super squeaky clean !!!“

Gravity Bound Brewing Company Brewery • $$
816 3rd St NW, Albuquerque

“Life of Utter Gravity We stopped into this quaint brewery and tasting room to sample some of their suds, and we were blown away. A relatively young brewery, as Gravity Bound Brewing has been in business for less than five years but has quickly put the New Mexico brewing scene on watch with their stellar beers and their Quick Take IPA winning an award at the '22 NM Brewers Guild IPA Challenge. It's truly worthy of the award, as it might be one of the best Hazy IPAs I've ever tried with a smooth grapefruity finish with bold, hoppy flavor. The service here is also phenomenal, as they're all too happy to pour you sample shots to help you make a decision on what to imbibe in. No food but a welcoming, fun ambiance that you're more than welcome to bring your own food from home or wherever you choose. I believe they do have food trucks pulling up at certain days, but check the schedule as there was none during our visit. Dog-friemdly covered outdoor seating and street parking only rounds out what you'll need to know about visiting Gravity Bound.“

“This place is awesome! I went here for the first time after I turned 21, and our server was so sweet! She was very helpful in helping me decide on a drink I’d like, and was very catering towards us! In my recent trip here, I got the corned beef and cabbage to-go, and it’s still as delicious at home as it is in the restaurant! It is a taproom, so obviously it will be loud.“

“Marble does not serve food, there was a food truck, and a pizza place next door, but no food from Marble. Now the beer, oh I can wax poetic on the beer, I had the uptown brown, oh I'm getting fond of that beer. The beer here (poetic ain't I) is very good, beyond very it's fantastic, truly great beer. The staff were quick to get me a pint, and kept up with our table. Just a really pleasant evening, made better with great beer.“

Differential Brewing Co. Brewery • $

“When I take that first sip of blue corn, a little oyster is created in my pants. Especially on a hot summer day. Staff is always very cool and service is exceptional! Back yard has the potential to be the best in the city brewery wise. They even added a drip system. Shade is nice because that western sun is brutal. I also like that they have a no kids policy after 8, also parents should stay home and rear their children. Kids are a bunch of freeloaders. I will be frequenting this brewery more often. I wish they had string cheese to with my wine whenever I order one. Good job Differential! AKA Diff.“

Also nice that they've got ciders and mix drinks as well. Seems to usually be pretty quiet, except for trivia night, which is real nice actually. “Had to try some BBQ while i was visiting and this place fit the bill. We got the platter for 2 but swapped out the chicken for burnt ends. We also got beans, coleslaw, collard greens, and fried pickles. This was my first time trying collard greens(i know?!). They were freaking amazing. The fried pickles were nice and light. The coleslaw was our least favorite, kind of dry imo. The beans were pretty good as well. The burnt ends were fantastic, next time I'm gonna order just those lol. The pulled pork I wasn't a big fan of as it tasted kinda bland. They use oak and a mixture of some other hard woods they said, but oak provides a mild smoke flavor. That being said you arent into heavily smoked flavoring you will love this place. The ribs were pretty good and tender, they still had a little bite to them and didn't fall off the bone(falling off the bone=bad). The sausage was fantastic and i loved that as well. Brisket was solid, had a nice smoke ring and was pretty juicy. Last but not least the pork belly burnt ends. They were super good, i have made these plenty of times but haven't seen them on too many menus. The fat was rendered really well so everything was tender and juicy. The service was fantastic, the waitresses were really friendly and it was easy to get a conversation going with them and hear their thoughts on the food. Overall this place is a solid 4.5 and I am really happy that we found it. Thanks guys!“

“My experience was positive. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, the food (spicy Hawaiian pizza and potato wedges) were delicious, and the environment overall was upbeat. Attended an evening that karaoke was being hosted so if you're uncomfortable with large gatherings of people (and if a karaoke night) it may be a bit too stimulating and may be overwhelming beyond simply finding yourself hearing a nostalgic song in a way you might not be able to shake [for better or worse] ever again...as I assume is how it is suppose to be at karaokestic gatherings. Aside from some kids who at moments who appeared kind of bored or maybe less entertained at moments resulting in moments of outward expression of those feelings (this isn't a Dave and Busters after all...) it was lively and fun. I can comfortably rate this place with all five stars based on the time I spent there.Parking: Free parking lot at location. Two handicapped parking spaces near the entrance. Parking appears to be available but if hosting an event with a large turnout, it may require parking on the street or nearby businesses if permitted.Kid-friendliness: Kids are allowed to be inside restaurants. The environment is lively though parents may find it a little challenging keeping children entertained while they are there and there did not appear to be anything geared directly at kids like what you could expect at any basic Chuck-E-Cheese (as an example) and I did witness what I perceived as some boredom that resulted in minor but noticeable outbursts of negative attention from own table with children in my overall general area of awareness. Maybe bring a coloring book just in case you decide to have your kids along.“
