“I like I Scream Ice Cream! It's a retro ice cream shop that offers huge selection of ice cream flavors (and toppings). The environment also takes you back in time to see all the fun paraphernalia back in the past. While the ice cream isn't homemade, I think this shop offers a good opportunity to just come and relax and enjoy your time with some cool desserts. You can get to try many flavors in a single order (get upto 3 flavors and a free topping in a cup!) The staff was polite and let me take my sweet time to decide on what I wanted. The serving portion was generous as well. This place was popular! I came in around 7pm and there were 10+ people coming in and out! Very nice and relaxing and just a cool environment to enjoy desserts! I would love to stop by again and love that we have this unique ice cream shop here in this university area!“
“We loved our stay at the Painted Lady! The hoppy hour was so charming and cool. It was great to chat with our fellow guests/neighbors, and to meet the owner and hear his story. The room was gorgeously decorated with vintage furniture and beautiful touches. We enjoyed using the fire pit after dinner at the local food hall. We wish we could’ve stayed longer. This is a meticulously cared for property owned by a local. Would highly recommend.Food & drinks: Local food hall had delicious cocktails and all sorts of cuisine. 3 mins away from B&BNoteworthy details: Vintage furnishings, aesthetically beautiful, very cool style“
“Stopped for the night in ABQ on a roadtrip. Needed a good cup before getting on the road. .This place did the job AND THEN SOME!Small roaster that clearly takes a lot of pride in their product as well as making sure the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. If you are anywhere near here and you don't go here... why do you hate yourself?“
“Been coming here since around 2020. Great cozy spot to work on things, read a book, or hang out with a coffee in hand. Matt, Josh, Steve and everyone else that works there I've met are all very friendly and kind people. They have a humble and service oriented attitude shown through how they carry themselves and their actions. I believe they have been able to create a great community space centered around coffee where everyone feels welcome. Coffee is among the best in the city. When they switched from their old provider into roasting their own coffee (I think a year or more back) their coffee was just as great.“
“I really enjoy this coffee shop, all my drinks have been good. They have a nice selection of pastries and food, great vegan options. My only complaint is that there is a very strong air freshener or room fragrance odor. It is very overwhelming to me, and I’m not usually sensitive to perfumes or scents. My go to drink is an americano and while the drink is very good there is a hint of the fragrance in the after taste so it’s not as enjoyable as it has been before. This isn’t the first time the scent in the shop has been strong but this is the first time I’ve noticed it in my drink.Everything else about this place is great, plenty of space to meet up with friends or get some work done.“
“It's different if you don't like to eat the same things. Tho the menu needs some tweaking for that location to get more business. And make some business cards with a lunch special on it and pass out to help get some word of mouth going. It's a good location and the food is good quality. Just needs a woman's touch maybe because it's a mans menu .I can say the soft homemade breads is a nice touch. Even my husband noticed his tortilla was fresh.“
“A beautiful floral work of art and delicious is an understatement. I would travel back to Albuquerque just for this. Amazing pastry chefs as well. Kind, friendly, helpful and samples offered. They made my trip to The Sawmill and to Albuquerque all the better ❤️??“
“Really cute coffee shop in the North Northeast. Plenty of indoor or outdoor seating. You have great mountain views if you sit outside. Wifi is really good if you're catching up on some work. It's pretty quiet during the week if you like reading, but gets busy on the weekends. Lots of caffe options, if you like variety. Great social spot for bicyclists or hikers in the area who want a little break before or after their adventure!“
“This is without a doubt my new favorite brewery! It checked off all the boxes. Amazing ambience, classy, modern and very very spacious. Tons of room inside and out. Although right around campus it felt secluded and private. The staff was very friendly, chill and happy. Ample selection of brews, lots of IPAs and every one that I tried was extremely tasty. Super solid quality. My friend and I, self proclaimed beer snobs, were blown away at the quality of these beers! No joke. The food truck for Sunday night was the best we have experienced in ABQ . The owner cook fit right in with the quality and mood of this brewery. Had fish tacos, my friend octopus tacos. Best all around tacos we have tried in this city. 10 out of 10 in every category. Even the bathrooms were super squeaky clean !!!“
“What a great and cute little place. If you want to have some time with a daughter or niece, this is the cute tea spot to go to. I ordered to go on this occasion, and they were making the Boba in front of me. The atmosphere was unbelievable, and I found myself smiling. The tea was delicious and very affordable, and the cup it came in was sturdy to bring home for further use. Will return over and over again!Parking: Large parking lot for the shopping strip.Kid-friendliness: Super cute and kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs.“
“If 6 stars was possible I'd give it that. This place is sooooo cute. I love that its clean and organized, bathrooms were well kept. The first thing that struck me was how clean it was! The menu selection is great. I ordered the Buddy Latte and a chocolate croissant warmed up. Both were delightful and paired well. The customer service was so lovely. The barista literally brought my order to my table which wasn't necessary but was a show of how seriously they take quality customer service. This was a lovely experience. I'm so happy I discovered this hidden gem!“
“We were looking for new seafood restaurants and this one popped up. We decided to try it. Everything on the all you can eat menu was super delicious. The only thing I didn't like is that you are timed and that if you want to take leftovers home you have to pay extra.“
“My favorite friendly neighborhood brewery! Delicious brews, friendly staff, dog friendly, live music and a great patio! Food truck outside every night of the week. They also have their own line of whisky. What more can I say! Hands down recommend.“
“Are ya ready kids???Yeah!I can't hear you!!!I feel like I'm walking into Bikini Bottom every time I go in. I love it!! And the fact it's right across the street from one of the movie studios makes it even better. This place is great! They've decorated really well, the big "nap pod" chair by the front is AMAZING! It's so comfy.. They have games for kids (and adults too I suppose). Looks like they have a little lounge area in the back..not sure if they have a gaming console or not.. either way, it's cool. The drinks are great, too! Currently having the Thai Tea..one of my fav's. The other day I had the hot chai tea. Gotta say the chai is REALLY good!Yes, it's a little out of the way, but you should make the trip. It's a really neat little joint!Kid-friendliness: The place is literally built for kids to have fun!Wheelchair accessibility: Very ADA friendly.“
“Whoa. It takes a bit to stand out these days but let me tell you, CdlC did it. Firstly, the knowledgeable guy at the counter (short, dark hair and glasses) walked me through every single item in the case at my request. He is a GEM! We walked away with three desserts and each one was outrageous! We enjoyed a crème brûlée stuffed croissant with a brûlée'd top-garnished with rose petals on the spot and took the others to go!presentation servicedeliciousThis place is super special. Go enjoy!“
“Ok, yall gotta go to the mouse hole cheese shop. My partner and I are charcuterie obsessed so once we saw people raving about it...we just had to do a lunch date This shop is so cute and adorable and comfy. Great music playing. The menu is small but honestly everything in here changes so you won't get the same thing. We decided to go all out and get the biggest board that's meant for 4 people ? We kept getting asked if we needed a to go box but nuh uh...we finished it up so quick. I don't even remember which cheeses we got but everything was so tasty. They really give you a nice assortment of mouth delectables The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and so friendly!! Worth a trip ?“
“Food here is fresh, homemade, and delicious with a reasonable price point. (Sides:) Salad bar is ok but not that good, soups are tasty and come with free garlic bread, fries are average. (Mains:) There are no bad options. Burrito/omelete come smothered in chile if you wish and are massive. Great for leftovers. Sandwiches are all delicious. Their specials are also rather good, look for a blackboard by the entrance for when they serve what. All in all you can’t really pick a bad meal here, so don’t be afraid to branch out. (Deserts:) All are good. Cinnamon roll is my preference, reheat at home if you can. (Cost:) meals usually range from $8-12. Cheaper options for a quick bite like soup, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy.Vegetarian options: Options not clearly labeled, but there are a few things to eat here. Not recommended for vegetarians.“
“Great service and charming atmosphere. Charging outlets available — thank goodness. The coffee and the vegan options were incredible — if you want vegan baked goods, try to go in the afternoon, as they may not be available early in the morning.“
“Very cute café. Came here for breakfast while visiting town. Breakfast portions are generous and delicious. I had the eggs Benedict and was very happy with it.The location itself is cozy, so it's a little harder to seat bigger parties, but perfect for brunch with a friend or two.Parking: I'm unfamiliar with the area, and it wasn't very straight forward to know where to park. Free street parking right by the café if you're lucky. Be aware a lot of the street parking requires a permit during certain times, and you may have to pay at a nearby lot and take a short walk to the location.“
“Does your toum have sugar in it? I've never had watery sweet garlic sauce...it was very disappointing and I couldn't finish it even through I've always loved it more than hummus and baba ganoush. Wasn't thick and creamy like every other Middle Eastern restaurant I have been to.Aside from that the food was pretty good. Falafel, tabbouleh, pickled veggies, hummus, lentil soup and baba ganoush. Would order those again.“
“Great service and really good food. The only gripe I had was they need to toast their garlic bread a bit more.Wheelchair accessibility: My companion uses a wheelchair and could not use the disability stall because the door goes in, not out.“
“I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys beer. The atmosphere was light on the night I went, but it made the experience even better to have an engagement with bar tender. Their drink flight was served on a skateboard .... How so cool! Good pricing too.“
“Me and the family went here for dinner on a Saturday. It wasn’t too busy but we made a reservation because there were 5 of us.The location is on the smaller side, but it’s nice inside. The food was really good! We got the popcorn shrimp roll, the teriyaki chicken bowl, the crab salad, some Yaki soba pan fried noodles and a few other sushi rolls. The price and portions were decent. The only reason I am giving the service 4 stars is because they move so slow. They were very nice and made sure we had what we needed, but again- very slow.I will probably go here again to try more things on the menu.“
“Wonderful taste of Costa Rica. If you want to try something new and unique to NM, this will not disappoint. We had some petacones as appetizers and it was so good. Service is better than amazing. And the atmosphere is what makes this place more than pleasant. Highly recommend!“
“Extremely friendly and professional staff and have terrific food. Jalapeño rum was delicious and made excellent mixed drink.Names on their alcohols have a Albuquerque theme and history lesson, made them even more interesting cultural experience here in New Mexico.“
“I ordered a loose leaf turmeric and ginger tea latte. It was absolutely delicious and the staff answered all of my questions about what I was ordering. The staff even checked me while I sipped my tea to make sure I liked it. I'll definitely be trying more of their menu.“
“Love this place for their Dogos! Totally crave-able!!! Can't go wrong with a bacon wrapped hot dog smothered with sour cream, ketchup, grilled onions and a hot sauce that makes your mouth tingle. Pair this with their Alegre style french fries, which is loaded fries of lettuce, cheese, tomato, cilantro, onion, salsa and your choice of protein. I liked the Al pastor better than the carne asada.“
“Food menu is small but very good. Large beer selection and for those who don't drink beer they also serve wine. If it's crowded you may have to wait in line for a while but it's well worth the wait. Indoor and outdoor seating, weather permitting. The ambiance reminds me of the tv series Mash! By the way, it is dog friendly in the patio!“
“Really great brewery in the downtown/EDo scene. It's connected to an art gallery as well, and has great art shows that usually are not part of the hectic First Friday artscrawl. The beers are small-batch craft and cover the gambit from sours to IPAs. They also have a full coffee bar menu.Oftentimes, there will be live music playing in the small stage up front. The back patio is roomy and has fire pits.Dog-friendly for responsible dog owners. This place has a distinctly different vibe from other watering holes in Albuquerque--having an almost rustic feeling with clientele that are mostly regulars from the surrounding neighborhoods.Highly recommended. Friendly staff, good beer, nice place to unwind or even get some work done.“
“Superb service. Food that looked as good as it tasted. A full breakfast menu. There was one gluten free item: a large oatmeal pancake with fruit on the top, a blueberry sauce and maple syrup on the side. There was a long wait to get in, but you can check in online to reserve a spot in line. The app will tell you what the wait is and message you when the time is up.“
“Everything at Napoli Coffee is amazing! The staff is always friendly and I love the atmosphere too. The Black Forest is my favorite drink but they are all very yummy! I also love to come here to shop for handcrafted gifts or to pick up a new pair of earrings.“
“Nice unassuming spot that if you didn’t know it was there, you might miss it. Beer was good, atmosphere great. Of note, their brews contain less gluten which causes some of the beers to be less robust in flavor/juiciness/hoppiness than you might find in breweries that don’t follow the same practice. Think unleaded vs premium gasoline lol…not the best analogy. I am not a huge beer drinker but when I do, I tend to like potent sours that make your jaw hurt and that was not the case here. Still, I’d go back for the cool vibes and cool people.“
“This place is beautiful in any season and has a coffee blend that I particularly enjoy. Their chef, David, at the cafe change a good portion of the menu every couple of weeks and the food is excellent and reasonably priced.. I had their Turkey and Brie sandwich with fresh herbs which came with homemade potato chips. Will return for the changing menu!Parking: Free parking to anyone on human powered bikes always and weekend charge for gas or E powered vehicles, $5 which goes to a local charity.“
“Amazing service, the food and coffee are even better. Their coffee is so good that my husband gets them to send it to him every month. The atmosphere here is very cozy and inviting. We will definitely visit here again Next time we come to Albuquerque.“
“Life of Utter Gravity We stopped into this quaint brewery and tasting room to sample some of their suds, and we were blown away. A relatively young brewery, as Gravity Bound Brewing has been in business for less than five years but has quickly put the New Mexico brewing scene on watch with their stellar beers and their Quick Take IPA winning an award at the '22 NM Brewers Guild IPA Challenge. It's truly worthy of the award, as it might be one of the best Hazy IPAs I've ever tried with a smooth grapefruity finish with bold, hoppy flavor. The service here is also phenomenal, as they're all too happy to pour you sample shots to help you make a decision on what to imbibe in. No food but a welcoming, fun ambiance that you're more than welcome to bring your own food from home or wherever you choose. I believe they do have food trucks pulling up at certain days, but check the schedule as there was none during our visit. Dog-friemdly covered outdoor seating and street parking only rounds out what you'll need to know about visiting Gravity Bound.“
“Fantastic brewery and environment, Just showed up from Knoxville Tennessee on a work trip. The beertender, Sam, was so helpful and had a very welcoming personality(keep her on the payroll!). Would recommend this brewery to my traveling work friends.“
“Second time that I was there in two years and their service was good as last time. They have a small cocktail menu but they can make whatever you like. If you are looking for place to try some whiskey/Bourbon this place is should be on ur list. There are few games that you can grab and have more fun with ur party. Barmen are great and nice . We had two cocktails and both were delicious but not exceptional that I can say “Wow”. I will go there more to try their whisky menu or Mezcal. So far I am giving them 4 ⭐️.“
“The best breakfast we had on our visit to Albuquerque! I had the standard plate with breakfast potatoes, toast, bacon, and green chile eggs. It was amazing. My wife ordered the biscuits and gravy and said they were excellent as well. Atmosphere was excellent, and service was great despite how busy they were. Highly recommended and glad we visited!“
“Was looking for a good cup coffee and found a gem .This is the best Latte I have had in a long time.excellent coffee and presented nicely. The Cinnamon roll was also very good. Will be back and can recommend to any coffee lover.Pleasant atmosphere and likewise people“
“Great beer as always, i always get the milk stout. Good atmosphere, never too busy the staff is great, friendly, and very helpful. I always hear them talking to new customers about their beer. No longer in abq, but when i am, i always stop in for a pint.“
“Easter bunnies, chocolate penises & vaginas, Breaking Bad merch, brittles, piñon caramels, licorice, truffles, fudge, coconut haystacks, and the inimitable peanut butter crunch... Josette and Ryan and Tammy and Orina are sooooo nice... there's even sugar free for diabetics. And of course Walter White's blue meth (this is the store that supplied the props). You cannot miss this stop on your Breaking Bad tour!!!!“
“A great, lively atmosphere. The food was 1st class, and our server Jude was fun and engaging. There was a little 10min wait, but no problem. We reviewed the menu and relaxed, and were ready when Jude arrived. Everything arrived exactly as ordered, and we added To-Go entrées at the end for our late night dinner. I only wish I’d gotten some take home brew … their offerings are very appealing…. I won’t forget them next time.“
“I try and get to em when I can, the only downside of a food truck. They have sole gf options and I appreciate this and every time I've been they are making things their own from scratch and not relying on expensive super processed pre made foods.“
“First time customer review. I was in a hurry so I did a drinks to go curbside. I ordered a cap, a latte and an Americano and they were all excellent. I'm unsure if they're a local business or part of a chain. I do hope that they're the former & not the latter because I do like to support local businesses and frankly speaking I'm getting a bit weary of the corporate Java shops. The location is definitely off the beaten path and I might have never stumbled across it if I hadn't noticed a small sign for their biz pinned to a chain link fence at the northeast corner of La Cueva high school. Check them out. I definitely recommend them with 5 stars and two thumbs up.“
“Cyclists and coffee. Where you find one you'll more than likely find the other. Kickstand Cafe has one of the best locations which is nearly across the street from the Alameda Open Space parking lot. It's great to run over and grab a coffee before, during, or after your ride. For me, it's a great halfway point. I enjoy a cup of coffee or a latte before making my way back home. The cafe is very charming and comfortable inside. The dessert case always looks amazing. I haven't explored the rest of their menu. Just caffeine for me, please. There is plenty of outdoor seating. The folks working inside are always really friendly. Even when they are obviously overwhelmed. They crank out orders with a smile. There's also a bike shop attached. I haven't had to use it yet, but it's nice to know it's there. They open at 8, which might be kinda late for those of use trying to get a ride in before the temperature rises. I really dig this place. Besides being extremely convenient, it's a great place to hang out.“
“We visited Boxing Bear our first night in town and we loved the location. VERY dog friendly, great beer and several restaurants in the same strip center so lots of food variety. I could see this as a very regular hangout for locations with all those positives. We will visit again when we are back in town.“
“This place is amazing. I recently quit drinking and wanted to find a new watering hole so to speak. The owner is a wonderful person and is very knowledgeable about the kava and kratom she sells. I found my new spot! I loved it here. It’s very relaxing and such a chill vibe. The prices are good, similar to a bar but there’s an all you can drink special for a super reasonable price. 10/10 would recommend. The Kava has an acquired taste but the effects are extremely relaxing. I hope this place stays around for good so everyone please give this amazing woman your business.“
“What a clean, well thought out coffee house. They roast beanson site. The light roast is what i had, it was a great choice. They have alternatives to milk. Macademia, oat and soy milk. My son had the espresso it was also delicious.. Lookedlikean eclectic crowd of University students and business folks.. I highly recomend.“
“We often go to Taste of India. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly and accommodating. My sole complaint is that it is too cold in the winter and too warm in the summer. They get a LOT of takeout traffic and so the food is constantly opening. Maybe build up the wall between the door and the dining room, maybe put thicker curtains on the windows. I wish they were more generous with temperature control. However… the food and service are wonderful!! Parking is plentiful, vegetarian options are abundant and delicious. The tandoori fish is tasty.“
“Absolutely incredible! I arrived a little before they opened and the line was already forming...but it moved quickly and was well worth the wait! I ordered a variety of items and every one of them was amazing! Top bite was the loaf of banana bread with brûléed bananas on top The croissants were flaky, the sourdough was fresh and the cookies were perfectly sweet! This is a must try in ABQ!“
