“Loved it! Our server was outstanding. Egg rolls were especially delicious. Pad Thai was a little bland but our server brought a variety of 5 or 6 different sauces to try and add. That made the pad thai great! Loved the dumpling sauce.“

Squid with vegetables and another dish with fried wontons were tasty and very similar except for their proteins. Abundant portions for a second, take-home meal. Inquire with the owner about a limited selection of incredible Taiwanese vegan products like soy jerky, vegan chicken, tofu skin and other vegan meats. DW had the shrimp with lobster sauce and I had the Mongolian beef (pictured), both lunch specials. The portions were generous, and were excellent. The only weak point of our lunch was the egg rolls, which were greasy and lacking in flavour.
Table service was friendly and attentive, as evidenced by ‘regulars’ coming in and getting their ‘usual’ as they were seated.

Bottom line now -- would we return? You bet!“

“I order their general tso's chicken and rice through their website for the lunch special and I loved it! I love the flavor of their chicken, it's not as spicy as they advertise it but they have a good spicy sauce if you ask for it. They prepared my order on time. The portions are enough for 1 person. It also came with a spring roll so it was a nice suprise! It's not the usual portions that l've had from other Chinese restaurants where they can barely close the container but it's enough to fill you up. I would eat here again.“

“On a random Sunday afternoon after a long day of yard work and house chores, we decided to be adventurous and try something new. This is a small yet quaint little restaurant. We started our food journey with the Egg Rolls, Crab Ragoon, and the Pork Potstickers. I must say, all 3 were very delicious and clearly made fresh! For our main dishes, we ordered Spicy Beef Ramen, Beef Fried Noodles, and the Orange Chicken Plate. The fried noodles are now one of my favorite dishes! The orange chicken wasn't our favorite but wasn't bad either. If you like onions, the Fried rice is for you! The Spicy Beef Ramen was our least favorite dish. The chef did come out and ask if he could make us something else instead, which we all respected a great deal. I can't say we'll be back for dine in, however. Our drinks were always empty, we had to ask for the basics: forks, napkins, plates, spoons etc. We will give them another shot, but we'll probably do takeout next time. Give them a try. Especially the fried noodles plates. Those were fabulous!“

“This review is long overdue. My mother would eat here 30+ years ago when she was pregnant with me, and the owner Judy used to listen to my moms belly and tell my mom that I was a boy.
I have some of the absolute best memories here at Chen's.
I tell everyone about Chen's that I possibly can. I lived in Colorado for a few years and then Texas, and no Chinese restaurant I tried in either state ever even sort of compared to Chen's Chinese food. My favorite dish is the #72 Mongolian Fried Rice.
I recently moved back to New Mexico and finally got to go into Chen's after so long to sit and eat. It was fantastic as always, thank you guys so much!“

For years I’ve gone to El Dorado Bakery on Broadway for the menudo, so naturally seeing the much lower score of El Dorado #3, I was very hesitant to try it. However, The Broadway location is a 20 minute drive and the one on Coors is only 5 minutes! And when you’re hung over, the shorter drive is better! I tried their menudo and flautas today, and both get a 4.5 out of 5 in my book! This has been the only place that does flautas right and even has a potato option! Their salsa was the best I’ve had in town! It def tasted like Chile de árbol and red tomato flavor without the usual tomato paste flavor that other salsas in ABQ tend to have. The menudo could be spicier for me but the flavor def made up for the lack of spice. Excited to go back and try out the rest of the menu. My order was to go so don’t expect the cute yellow bowl in my pic ?Also, there was a woman singing Yolanda Del Rio covers so that’s a win win win for me! Oh and yes, the bread was bomb. Come on now.EDIT: To address the customer service issues from previous reviews...service when I went was super fast. The lady that was singing only sang 1.5 songs while I was there and BOOM, my order was up! The music was way too loud and I had to shout my order to the cashier..but I would still go back lol. Hoping they read this and lower the volume on the speaker. Also, the restaurant was super full and I still got my order in under 10 minutes.“

Good options for vegetarians or vegans. I have been eating here for about 8 years! Great for take out. The dining area is small and tables are close together, so I would not recommend dining there.“

“It's in the mall food court. I was delighted to find it. The food is great and I think maybe a little cheaper than the usual Panda Express. The atmosphere is standard mall but certainly okay. I have also ordered delivery.

Vegetarian options: Well, they have lots of stir fried vegetables. I'm not a vegetarian so I'm not sure about cross contamination with the meat dishes but it looks ideal to me.

Parking: There is lots of outdoor parking near the entrance to the mall that goes directly to the food court

Kid-friendliness: There are little race cars and things the kids love to ride in, free at the mall. Kids would be able to eat in the comfort of a noisey mall instead of being confined in a restaurant

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes there seems to be ramps and the like. I push a dog buggy and we had no problems getting over curbs etc.“

“Ok, so most Chinese in the US has been Americanized. This place has dishes most people should be familiar with BUT they have a 2nd menu with traditional Chinese dishes & that's what I LOVE. I ordered the simplest of dishes: fish with pickled vegetables soup & it was some of the best soup I've had since thoroughly enjoying Caldo de Mariscos with stingray (asked at the time what all was in it & was told stingray along with muscles, shrimp, etc.) quite a few years ago at Lindo Mexicano (I don't know if they still make it with stingray but at the time it was & it is YUM!).
But this isn't about Lindo, this is about Tasty Noodles & Dumplings. The 2 young men who alternately waited on us were so sweet & very sufficient in their service.
It's a cute little joint off San Pedro that we thoroughly enjoyed in its entirety. Check out their traditional Chinese menu, THAT's where you'll find the really good stuff. Thank you Tasty Noodles & Dumplings. We WILL be back!!! ?
