We hadn't been here in years since we lived out of state for many years. I'm glad we thought to come here again. The food was delicious, and the service was amazing. Perfect place to have a nice relaxing lunch with my family.Kid-friendliness: This place is kid friendly. However, it is self seating and alot of the tables are high top.

Having spent a few weeks in another part of NM for work, which didn't have decent pizza, I tried this place. I figured woodfired pizza was going to hit the spot. However, I was disappointed here. The atmosphere was nice. Open and airy, with an outdoor patio as well. But, the service is mediocre. Patrons are requested to order at the counter before seating themselves, so really no service other than someone bring your food and drinks to your table once they spot the number on a stick given to you when you order. The real dissatisfaction was the pizza itself. Under cooked was the start. It was browned, but not even the crust was crispy. The toppings were flavorful, but the crust was very bland. I would recommend another pizza place, but being from out of town, I don't have any.

Really, really bad. What happened? The food is like eating at Cici's pizza buffet. Wood oven pizza came out with soggy crust. Not sure how you do that. Boxed noodles with jarred sauce poured on it and frozen meat. You place your order as you walk in before sitting down and then you're kind of on your own after that. 1 small pizza, 2 pasta dishes, 1 tea and 2 waters all came out to $80 not including tip. SMH. So bad...

Solid option for dining out and a place we go to whenever we have a craving for their pizza, since the food is consistently good and you get what you expect. The atmosphere is nice; relaxed, casual, "urban Italian" is how I would describe it. Staff is friendly and relatively attentive. Pricing is good and, notably, hasn't gone up as much as many other places have in the past few years which, I appreciate...and they've maintained the same quality and portions as well Really no complaints...if you're looking for a unique dining experience at a reasonable price and love pizza, you should really like il Vicino...great place for date night or with the family also...

Feeling what's left of the winter by sitting outside in the patio with the family where pets are welcomed. We enjoyed our dinner, food was good. We like big servings so the portion was a bit too small for a big stomachs. Will visit again and try a different dish so we can have variety of options.

We’ve been going to Il Vincino off and on for years both in Albuquerque and Denver. I don’t know how the other franchises are doing, but this one off Corrales Road was somewhat disappointing compared to what I remembered from years ago. Atmosphere no bueno for date night. Food okay but needs improvement. Staff don’t seem happy. On the plus side, It is possible to order vegan or vegetarian here. I got a build your own 7inch pizza and Jack got a vegetable calzone. His was better than mine. Sorry, no photos. Food not photo-worthy.Vegetarian options: You have to pick and choose ingredients and ask for non-vegetarian ingredients to be left out.Parking: This restaurant is in a shopping center called Corrales Shopping Center which has a large lot.

Everything we had was delicious! I was not aware that you order at the front counter and then sit with a number. By no means did that take away from the experience. The servers were attentive, and the food was exceptional. I look forward to trying all of the pizzas!

Not my first visit. Everytime I come to Il Vicino's they're prompt, professional and DELICIOUS!! Last visit was MLK day and it was a buzz, but not overtly busy; the atmosphere is always laid back and vibrant.I would highly recommend the ceasar salad with anchovies to pair with ANY pizza; you can't miss! They also have amazing in house drafted root beer! However if that's not your thing, they also have a few flavors of pellegrino which happens to be a favorite of mine ^_^

We decided to go to Il Vicino after seeing a recent picture of a pizza from the Nob Hill location. We haven't been for many years. First, the price point is good. We had a meatball pizza, house salad and hubby had a large beer. The service was outstanding. The staff worked together to ensure customers were happy, had what they needed, and refilled drinks. The salad was very good. The veggies were fresh and the creamy Parmesan dressing was delicious. The salad came pre-dressed and I have to say, the amount of dressing they used was perfect. I don't like my salad dripping in dressing and want to taste the veggies. The pizza was okay. Part of it was our choice, I think. The meatballs were bland and the sweetness of the balsamic onions sort of overwhelmed the flavor. Also, the pizza could have benefitted from some additional time in the oven, the center was floppy. We ate it and it was okay, just nothing to write home about. We will go again but try another pizza next time. Restaurant was quite busy but didn't feel rushed and food came out quite quickly.

Service can be spotty but food is awesome and prices can't be beat for the quality of the product.
