First visit yesterday and was not disappointed. We tried the Cabbage Rolls, Pierogi and Schnitzel and all were delicious bringing me back to food I hadn't had prepared as well since my childhood. (My mother had Polish-German heritage.) Modest accommodations, but the place is clean and neat. It was like a walk into times gone by in a old fashioned neighborhood deli with some tables to enjoy well prepared ethnic food. Expect a bit of a wait. This isn't a fast food outlet, but you can spend some time shopping the wide variety of Eastern European food you can purchase to bring home while your meal is prepared. The staff was pleasant and appreciated our compliments. I will return. Be aware that it is located on a side street (San Mateo Place) in a rather drab location not visible from San Mateo Blvd.

Yes, service was a little slow, but this is a small deli and they appeared to be working on things in the "back." The server was very nice and took some time to explain the menu. The ambiance was "deli" style - little store with a few table for people to sit and eat - most tables accommodating up to 4 people. The dining area was small but not a problem. I'm guessing they are gearing up and doing more work on the deli to bring in more customers. I had the Wienerschnitzel and my friend had the stuffed cabbage - we were also brought a little plate with hot mustard, slaw, and potato salad. The food was tasty. I was really impressed by the array of eastern European goodies on sale. Will definitely be going back to sample/buy pierogi (large variety available). Wishing the proprietors every success!

The white borscht is one of the best tasting things you could eat in the entire town of Albuquerque. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a bowl because it's amazing!

This was my second time here. I wish I lived closer, I'd visit more often, it is really great! A gem in our city. Today we got two kinds of pierogis (potato/farmer cheese and mushroom/sauerkraut) with onions, which were delicious! The cabbage rolls were also amazing! We also ordered chicken pelmeni and Ukrainian borscht (so flavorful!). The rolls and borscht each came with some yummy warm bread. Everything was so delicious! Savory comfort food that you won't find in many other places around here. We also purchased some treats, jams, and beverages from the little grocery area. Everyone is very friendly. Highly recommend!
This place is my new favorite restaurant in ABQ. I went on a Friday mid afternoon and it was packed. One employee was leaving and didn’t take our order before she left, leaving the one employee on her own for the day. She was so overwhelmed and people just kept coming in to purchase goods in the store, so we waited quite a while before it was quiet. Yet, in that time we got to meet a lovely regular customer and chat.We also weren’t in a rush at all and once we put in our order, the food came out pretty timely. It was 1000% worth the wait. The pierogis were absolutely divine and I am STILL thinking about the potato salad. I already cannot wait to eat here again.Vegetarian options: Some of the pierogis are veggie friendly and they even have vegan sour cream if you ask for it.

This place is a gem! I am from Pennsylvania. My grandparents are immigrants via Poland but my ethnicity is Ukrainian but in the little northeastern corner of Ukraine, Poland, Czech and Slovakia. I happened to call if they had Paska . It was perfection! I shared with my staff and they loved it! The kielbasa, stuffed cabbage, pyroghy, borscht, everything is amazing!! If you are eating in don’t expect a fancy place, it is truly a great experience and the food is amazing! Many thanks to the restaurant to bringing home to me!

First time being at this deli, and right off the bat, when you walk in, I instantly noticed how clean the store/deli is! They've Polish foods that look amazingly delicious and a very nice young man to tell you how to cook them! My daughter has been here several times, and today, we both stocked up on perogies and dried pasta. It's worth the trip to check out and next time, we've made plans to eat lunch there as their food looked and smelled phenomenally delicious!
