About Two Fools Tavern

Two Fools Tavern offers delicious food and great service, making it a popular choice for many. The fish and chips are a standout dish, made with haddock for a better taste and texture, featuring a crispy crust and tender fish. The Jester's Pot Pie is also recommended for its tasty flavor, while the Scotch eggs are excellent with tangy ground mustard. The apple cole slaw is a unique and tasty side. The atmosphere can be a little dark, making it hard to read the menu at times, but the staff is friendly, attentive, and polite. The restaurant can get a bit loud and cramped, but this adds to its bar charm. The beer selection is impressive, with a variety of options, and the huge selection of whisky makes it easy to try something new with each visit. Although the prices may be high, the food quality is high and worth it, comparable to pub food back in London, with excellent flavors that appeal to every taste. Overall, a visit to Two Fools Tavern promises a delightful dining experience with flavorful dishes and friendly service, making customers look forward to returning.

It’s an Irish pub next to the University. Great fish n’ chips. Fun drink menu.
I visited for lunch yesterday. The food was excellent, and while the service was acceptable, I was pleased to secure a seat given how busy the restaurant was. Thank you very much, and may God bless you all!
We went on a Saturday at 3pm the hostess wasn't very friendly and seemed overwhelmed which was weird since there was a sign that said sit yourself we sat at a high top was there was 4 of us and only given 2 napkins with silverware I had asked the hostess for 2 more she said ask your waitress so we did and the waitress seemed annoyed when ask politely the food was great as always sad they didn't have their house cider anymore but overall it was good
