Service was horrible the last time we visited. The server did not refill drinks, did not make eye contact, threw fork down on table when food came out incorrectly and it was brought to her attention. Basically the worst Waitress I've ever come across. Their food is decent and prices are good but I will never return as a dine in customer. It was bad enough that our server did NOT get a tip and in all my years of dining out I have never done that, I tip at least 20% in most cases!

We joined our daughter and her family for a late lunch on a Saturday. We did not have to wait for a table. Service was amazing, and the food was delicious. Prices are reasonable too! I ordered a combination plate with green chili. The green chili was meaty, and this green enchilada sauce was one of the BEST I have ever had! I also loved their fresh taco that's on the plate. The taco shell was made fresh on the order. If you have not checked this gem out before, I highly recommend it!

I ordered the bean and cheese burrito and a side of red sauce. I loved the sauce! Delicious lunch meal. The staff were very helpful and nice.

We went out of our way to drive to this location based on a few other reviews I read on Yelp. Big mistake! I want to start by saying that the restaurant is not in a very nice area. And after our experience, I wish I had recommended we stopped by another restaurant in a more central part of town. We arrived at approximately 12:40 PM. The restaurant was at less than half capacity. We ordered chips with queso. I should have realized that if a restaurant can't get that and salsa right its a HUGE red flag. The chips were incredibly salty and the queso was dried out overly salty. It did anything but fill our stomach while we waited 40 mins for a chicken quesadilla, the "foot long burrito " see pictures and, beef enchiladas. The quesadilla was average and contained what tasted like boiled chicken. The "burrito" was nothing near a burrito. It was the width of an enchilada. I paid an extra $3.00 for queso on my burrito which was the saving grace. However, that made it barely edible. The beef enchilada plate had one flavor, chili powder. Service was sadly not any better than the

Holy. That burrito was huge. Tacos are OP. The food was super fast. The inside is nothing to write home about but who cares really

I was recently in Artesia, and we ate dinner one evening at La Herradura (LH). LH is a restaurant that is literally on the other side of the tracks in a poor part of Artesia; however, do not let that deter you! The food is great, and the price is superb, especially compared to the price of New Mexican food in a larger city. I had a combination plate that included a taco, a rolled enchilada, and a chile relleno; with that, beans and rice were included. The cost? $10.50. The taste was super! I have eaten there before, and I've greatly enjoyed everything I've eaten there.Note: On Sundays after church, it's my understanding that the place is packed with locals.Note 2: I grew up about 3 blocks from the restaurant, and the people from that part of town (Morningside) are really great people!

Service is awful. All waitresses are very rude. Would be a great place if the service was decent. Waited for over ten minutes and wasn’t even asked about drinks.
