I’m visiting from Dallas Texas and I really enjoyed the authentic NM style food at Alejandro’s. The wait staff are all very friendly and helpful and quick to bring out your food. They are open early which is a blessing for me because I’m always up early. I had the juevos rancheros and they were excellent with a side of sopas. I highly recommend giving Alejandros a try any time your passing through Belen NM.

I like to order their breakfast burrito, smothered with green chili, and sausage. The waiter that served us, is polite, and gave us our food, and beverages in short order. The restaurant has a nice, friendly atmosphere. Alejandro will be seeing us again soon.

Went for breakfast this morning. I ordered to go, I ordered menudo and asked if they could make a Carne adovada w/egg breakfast burrito, smothered w/red chile. I noticed they didn't offer that burrito and agreed to pay for the Carne adovada w/egg plate. I asked the young lady taking my order if this was something they could do and she assured me, yes of course no problem. I paid and waited for my order. Apparently the cooks made a Carne adovada w/egg plate instead of a burrito so one of the workers said "we had to start your order over the cooks got the order wrong". I said ok no problem, even though 2 other customers that ordered after I did had already left with their food. Well when I got home, it seems as if they just stuffed the Carne adovada w/egg plate into a tortilla and called it good. The burrito was sloppy, over easy eggs running all over the place. It was just thrown together. I ended up just throwing it away. If there is no substitutes then say so, but with the cost of everything if we choose to spend our money at a local restaurant the people working there should take pride in what they serve. I was very disappointed and will not be returning. Belen doesn't have a whole lot of food options and the employees are pretty friendly and the restaurant is nice but it felt like someone probably got upset about the change in oder and said FK it and threw it all together. Pretty sad.

We hired Alejandro’s for a Celebration of Life for My Brother-In-Law and they could not have been more Professional and Accommodating, the food arrived Hot and Fresh, We had Enchiladas, Chicken, Beef, Cheese, Red, Green, Christmas, Pasta Salads, Salsa Everyone Raved about the food Especially the Tamales. The menudo tasted dirty and the breakfast seemed as if everything was microwaved brang it to the chefs attention but he argued instead listening to my feed back . Very rude and very unprofessional of him .
