Sandwich Shops in Belen

“American breakfast food was average. New Mexican food was fantastic! Service was average, the server seemed overwhelmed. Not a busy place, but it seemed like one server for the whole floor, which was expansive. They seemed to be preparing for a very large party to come in. Spoke to the owner, Izzy, who seems very involved and passionate about his business. He says they use this place for large parties and a weekly rotary club meeting. He also says they use the parking lot for food trucks and pop-up restaurants. How cool!“

“I had one bad experience with the subway in Belen. The employee at the drive-thru asked me to repeat my order four different times. The light on their order menu was also burned out , and very difficult to see. I got frustrated with the employee and told him to cancel my order. But, my rant is over. I made a complaint with the store manager on the day shift. The problem was fixed right away. Subway is still a great place to eat in Belen. I will gladly suggest their outlaw sub, the spicy Italian b.m.t., their chicken teriyaki sandwich, and their meatball sub, ?“
