The food is excellent and the owner is always pleasant and truly interested in the quality of your experience! The food is amazing. You will be doing yourself a disservice if you don’t try the cheesecake!”

“Jess was a great bartender. We sat at the bar for faster seating. We asked Jess several questions about the food. He was very honest and if he didn't know he asked someone who did. We had the loaded chips for an appetizer and they were fantastic. I had the pulled Pork, wow, fantastic. He had the Blue burger and said the same thing. We were stuffed and had leftovers. We will return.”

“Our first time today. We had a super lunch. Started out with the tea being fresh. Salsa and chips were tasty, not too spicy, shrimp tacos, perfectly balanced with a nice slaw and avacado. Pork asado extremely flavorful yet not too hot! Will definitely go back again!”

A (perhaps unexpected) word about fruit:
After being on the road for several days we were craving some fresh produce, and the menu indicated you could buy a small or large order of fruit. We asked for a large fruit and thought it would be a few bites for each of us (family of 4). Nope! It was approximately one metric ton of fresh pineapple, watermelon, mango, jicama, honeydew, and cantaloupe. They gave us tajin and chamoy for it. We all ate quite a bit from it and then still had some leftovers we toted around the state in our cooler. The mango was some of the juiciest and most flavorful I've ever had.”

“Yes the wait will be long at times but trust me when I say it's worth the wait. My coffee is always on point, doesn't matter what barista is in at the time. It always taste the same and I love consistency. Keep in mind they just opened, and the coffee taste has been the same every single time. Can't say the same thing about Dunkin Donuts when they opened up here a few months ago.”

“Went there today and had no idea what I wanted, but they were super patient and friendly. Their customer service is on point. I, also, got a chance to try their chicken and waffles. Did you know they have CHICKEN AND WAFFLES?! Well they do, and they’re topped off with a sweet/spicy sauce called “besito caliente”. It’s delicious. Thank you, Tiki Tops!”

“I highly recommend Grizzly Bear’s Fudge and Lemonade!! We started coming here last summer and from day one both ladies have made us feel very welcomed answering all of our questions. They are truly the sweetest people you will ever meet! Most of the time we still don’t know what we want to drink(always try to get something different) and they always give us advice or ideas. Lemonades are made fresh and right in front of you! This is a perfect little gem in Carlsbad! If you haven’t been yet what’s stopping you! Go in and get a fresh cold iced lemonade on a hot day!!!”

“Fantastic Customer service! Tonight, we ordered subs that my hubby picked up for a late dinner at home. I ordered a Turkey melt with lettuce, tomato, white cheese only, and dry bun, no condiments. My hubby had the spicy Italian. His was good, and mine was not what I ordered. They put mayo on it. I tried to scrap it off, but it had too much. I called to let them know that they made a mistake, and the young lady asked if I wanted to talk to a manager, I hesitated and then agreed.I talked to the manager, and he wanted to remake my sandwich and deliver it. I ended up ordering the Philly with only the meat, white cheese, pepper, and onion, and he delivered it still hot and the way I ordered it. Thank you for the great customer service. I have never had this great service in Carlsbad. We highly recommend it. We have also had their pizza, and it's the way we like it. it has a nice thin crust, plenty of sauce and vegetables. I'm so happy they added green chili to the menu. 💯”

“evening to midnight treats are a treats like this only found in Carlsbad LA Pasadita is a family owned and run restaurant residing in a food truck off San Jose Blvd and I st. the gourmet style HotDogs Burgers and Mexicanized Cuisines are not the typical but well thought out and implemented with consistency and care as if you were family but without chanclas being thrown. Nachos and Mexicano Dog are my current top treats here, and the Strawberry Flan Cake at the snack shake can not be competed with as its the only place you can ordered a dessert like this and is hands down a perfect way to end the meal and sharable for two. Enjoy as they are open evenings and unobstructed sunset views are a the cherry on top.”

I've gone 3 times in the middle of the day and they've been closed every single time, online it says 5am-7pm, this is not true, they close at 2pm. Unfortunately for me I didn't know this and their hours in real life are in Spanish and the hours on Google are incorrect. Would love to eat here more often it sucks theyre closed that early.”

“Today May 13th food is always good in Carlsbad. Atmosphere was horrible the waitress was taking an order on the phone had her back to everything but she had an extensive order. Was taking a little bit of time. If you don't get it in then you can't get the money in. I had already told the waitress as I was waiting to decide what I was going to have for breakfast to go ahead and take the phone call. The drive-up got busy as well. But we were both being patient. The cook Rebecca yelled and said order up which is fine she should and then she said again I'm just a little while not very long at all my food's getting cold. The waitress I don't know her name sorry it wasn't Lisa so I don't know who it was of blonde lady. Very nice. Reported I'm on the phone with a with a order. Rebecca yelled well if you can't get it out then I suggest you get help! A customer should never hear that. Why didn't the cook come out and deliver the food and say that the waitress will check on you in just a moment. Instead of yelling. Or send out the dishwasher. To assist. Finally the dishwasher did come out and she helped with the drive up and Rebecca did come out and give the gentleman their food. It was not the end of the world but she was horrible then afterwards after the waitress had taken my order and I had sat down. The waitress went in the back and Rebecca was yelling at her again I could hear her yelling at her I never heard anything that's a waitress said the waitress never talked back to her that I could tell. And it doesn't matter at that point it was not a good morning. That was very disrespectful of your employees all of them and the people who are coming in to buy your food quote unquote the customers who pay your bills! And your employees paycheck. If it ever happens again I will not be back thank you very much the food was good”
