Service is fast and the food is filling. Yet the food itself isn’t the best by any means. The chow mein is greasy, the bourbon chicken and the orange chicken isn’t really that appetizing either. The fried rice is pretty decent and the beef and broccoli is honestly pretty good.Overall, It’s alright for a quick bite to eat on lunch break, but not that great either.

I was in the mall with some friends and we decided to stop at the food court. Obviously, at the food court you don't have high expectations. I had never dined at the Chinese Gourmet Express so I decided to give it a try. Afterwards I learned that I should probably have tried something else. Nothing was poor or terrible, but the food served here was really mediocre stuff....clearly below average. I would not recommend this place unless you are locked up in the mall and can't go anywhere else and you are just dying for Chinese-style food. Rate it TWO-AND-A-HALF STARS.....meaning below average for the dining experience....even a very casual dining experience.

Food was fresh, clean, and enjoyable. The staff was knowledgeable with excellent customer service. They have and option to get steamed vegetables on the side. Would recommend over other American Chinese restaurants in town.

I use to like this place a lot but now it’s getting bad with the food and costumer service. The lady that it’s always there she’s always rude, I’m assuming she’s the owner. I went today to my surprise the rice wasn’t fully cooked It was still hard and not just that I paid $22 dollars for two plates and they don’t fill the plate properly.

Me and my family had decided to eat at this place. The first lady that took our order had rolled her eyes and was very racist to my family (we're mexican). This other asian lady she was a bit elder she had thrown our change on the counter and had been very rude to us for awhile. After we got our food we sat down and noticed that they had been happy with new customers specifically young ones. I don't recommend if you're looking for good service. They need to hire others with a better personality.

This was a rare opportunity to spend time with my son. He selected to go eat at the Chinese Gourmet. The customer service sadden me for the fact of how I was treated. It was an older Asian lady that seem very irritated with my question of the hot sauce. When I slide my card, I supposed the transaction didn't go through. She proceed to grab my card out of my hand.I was shocked! I was processing what happened. When the receipt came out, it had two copies attached. She reached to grab the receipt. No way was I going to let her take something out of my hand again. Apparently, my business was not appreciate there.I noticed she was treating the customer in front of me with a rush and rude attitude also. This is a two way street, if you get good service, you are a repeat customer, and the business does well.I responded to her that she needs to treat the customers better and not be so rude. Her come back was, "I don't understand the word". But, she is able to speak that in English. ? The time stamp of my receipt is 4:21pm on June 02. 2022. I will talk to her management and the mall management. She need to have some type of Customer Service training. You just don't grab stuff out of people's hands in America. ThanksI really didn't enjoy the food.My time with my son was tarnished. I probably will not go to that establishment again.

I have ordered from Chinese Gourmet Express located in Mesilla Mall multiple times through the years. It's been always a good experience til recently.The hibiscus is one of my favorite drinks here, but lately it's awful. Has a bitter taste.These pictures were taken a month ago. I gave them 2 stars since I nearly swollen this metal piece as you can see in the picture.They need to be careful not to contaminate food with foreign objects that can be dangerous.I would have star them the lowest star but did not because of the portion size was more then decent. The food was good besides that mishap.Tasty and hot and filling.
