Very intimate (small) but quaint restaurant that provided very good Mexican food considering this Las Cruces. Go for the Flauta Plate, Gren Chile Enchilada, or their version of a chicken salad, and you can't go wrong. The staff was nice and cordial. The only reason for the low service score, was they waited until the last minute to inform one of our friends that they ran out of the ingredients needed to make his plate. All of us waited for 10 more minutes so that we could all eat together. They could havenonformwd sooner and not while bringing up the other plates. In the end, without me asking, they comped his meal and fixed everything.

El Sombrero has always been one of my favorite places to eat! You can always count on tasty food and hot chile.Now they have chocolate sopaipillas stuffed with ice cream, drizzled with chocolate sauce and amazing whipped cream! It's worth going there just for that!

I had a large pick up order and called in ahead of time; they were quick and made everything correctly. Usually restaurants don't get every little detail, but these guys did! Every. Single. Detail. I believe the person who helped me over the phone and in person was Carl. Carl was awesome! He made sure everything was there, and even helped me bring my order to my car. He did all this with a smile. Everything was packaged nice, and it made me less anxious about getting the food back to the office. I really appreciate places like this. The food was also delicious!! Thank you!

Service was extraordinary drink orders were taken as we received our menus. Orders for lunch were taken immediately after our drinks were brought. Food came out looking very delicious. Great New Mexican food with awesome green chile, red chile flavor, and just the right amount of heat. Anthony, our server, took care of our drinks and food and checked on us. I made a special order of chips and salsa to bring back to AZ, Anthony gladly put it together for me. Service, food, and atmosphere great enjoyed an awesome, tasty, spicy meal. If looking for a great NM food stop by here and enjoy the variety of food on the menu , I know I'll be traveling back there.Parking: Patio is available for dining. No issue with parking availability was present even tho it looked packed.
