The fully-equipped shop is incredibly handy for people with no garage and/or limited tools. I haven't had the chance to try the beer yet, but I did have the best macchiato I've had in years this morning. (Not the garbage *$ version, but the real thing: espresso with just a dollop of milk foam. Perfection) I will be back often to explore the shop in detail and try the beer. “Stopped at La Reforma during a business trip and came away very impressed. Great food, drinks and vibes. Service was also outstanding. Even during peak hours my waitress was very attentive. The food was perfect. Had the carne asada torta and it was probably one of the best ones I’ve ever had (I’ve had many). Perfectly cooked and very filling. Those chefs know what they’re doing. “Life of Utter Gravity We stopped into this quaint brewery and tasting room to sample some of their suds, and we were blown away. A relatively young brewery, as Gravity Bound Brewing has been in business for less than five years but has quickly put the New Mexico brewing scene on watch with their stellar beers and their Quick Take IPA winning an award at the '22 NM Brewers Guild IPA Challenge. It's truly worthy of the award, as it might be one of the best Hazy IPAs I've ever tried with a smooth grapefruity finish with bold, hoppy flavor. The service here is also phenomenal, as they're all too happy to pour you sample shots to help you make a decision on what to imbibe in. No food but a welcoming, fun ambiance that you're more than welcome to bring your own food from home or wherever you choose. I believe they do have food trucks pulling up at certain days, but check the schedule as there was none during our visit. Dog-friemdly covered outdoor seating and street parking only rounds out what you'll need to know about visiting Gravity Bound.“

We reviewed the menu and relaxed, and were ready when Jude arrived. Everything arrived exactly as ordered, and we added To-Go entrées at the end for our late night dinner. “Stopped by for Sunday lunch since the Facebook food postings had looked so delicious. Did not disappoint. Hubby had the green Chile cheeseburger. it came out perfectly prepared and steaming hot. I had the poke cucumber cups which was the special and it was delicious. The chef brought out some loaded hash browns for us to try and again, delicious. Throw an over easy egg on top and it would have been a great meal.I had a Mexican Lager which surpassed my favorite Mexican Lager in taste. We will definitely be back and look forward to what they have in store for the Old Town location. .“
“Several of my neighbors have been talking about how much they enjoy going to the Kaktus Brewing Company and today one of them actually invited me to go along so I took him up on the offer and I'm really glad I did. The place wasn't much to look at but it truly is a hidden gem! The people were very pleasant and the beer was both cold and tasty? They even had New Mexico spirits and some cool merch. I'm already planning another trip back and next time I'll be partaking in some of that delicious smelling pizza - or maybe the awesome duck sausage salad! A must try!“

“The Albuquerque area has a slew of great breweries, and every time I come to town, I make a concerted effort to visit as many as possible. My ABQ Brewery Map has more than three dozen pins on it, and I have finally been to almost all of them.And…finally…I made it to Ex Novo in Corrales. It’s not that I wasn’t already familiar with their beers, because they have distro in the Amarillo area. But just like with Guinness in Ireland, the beer always tastes better at the brewery. So off I went along a narrow, winding road to find the source of this good cheer.I’m just glad they do small pours separate from the flights of four, because there were six I wanted to have.On my flight I went with my fave Mass Ascension (West Coast IPA; 6.9% ABV), Misnakes Were Made ((West Coast IPA; 7% ABV), Sadnia Slice (Hazy IPA; 7.1% ABV), and Crueltor (Hazy IPA; 6.5% ABV). This was an amazing quartet of hoppiness, and I could find no faults. I followed suit with Short pours of Extra Time (Amber Ale; 5.3% ABV) and Liquid Sweater (Winter Ale; 7%ABV). Back here in Texas I have also had Perle Haggard (German Pilsner; 5.1% ABV). Once again, all stellar performers, which with the others noted above give me no uncertainties in declaring ex Love to be in my Top 5 for ABQ.Ex Novo is renovating the old Firestone dealer in downtown ABQ for a taproom, which should open later in Spring 2024. That will be convenient if only because Corrales is a bit of a hike from town. Either way, though, the beer flowing from their taps is inspired and inspiring. Even though I can buy it in Amarillo, I want to return to the brewery if only for the experience of being there so close to its source.“

Check out some thousand year old pueblos, or toured downtown ABQ, and looking for a great one stop shop?Come down to this awesome outdoor food hall, anchored by Santa Fe Brewing! You can grab anything from pizza, to Mexican food, gifts, brews, and even cannabis in this sweet mix of stores. It's close to downtown and only a few minutes from Balloon Park. Staff was incredibly nice! They even gave me a poster of my favorite beer so I can hang it at home! I had the 7k IPA, and enjoyed the taste a lot! I also bought a glass and sign, they have some pretty cool stuff!This is a must return for me in Albuquerque. There's two levels of stores all around dozens of shipping containers. “Stopped in at "Tractor Brewery" the local brewery for an adult libation after walking the trails looking at Petroglyphs at Pierdras Marcadas. I had a Mexican pilsner which was cool, crisp, and light. My man had a pale ale, old skool style, bittery at first, finishing with a nice, hoppy taste. Atmosphere was nice, service was great. “Interesting distillery/brewery/restaurant. They are doing interesting things dreaming up new spirits, and new cocktails. They also have a brewery in house doing rotating beer options. They have more than 15 craft spirits in house for drinks and about 6-8 for in bottles. The Bosque Fog cocktail was very pleasant, definitely a must try. Cut ice from the supplier next door. The Old Town Tea is a house brewed hard tea is great as is the BBA Scotch Ale, so drinkable but comes in at 14%! Food menu is seasonal and slightly limited but good. Exteriors and location is a slight industrial but interior is nice and spacious for groups.“

I’ve been to the taproom on Jefferson…. It’s not even comparable. It’s plain and lacks any character. Why would ownership do this? So many regulars who visit this place, amazing staff, excellent beer, good music. And you shut it down? Unfortunately, this may be the end of my visits to boxing bear. How sad.“
“This is my favorite of all the Tractor locations. The place is so cute and I love the cardboard bird hung above. There is no food but they do have different food trucks parked outside for a food option. My husband love the beers and I go for the spirits. The bartenders always make a really good drink here and they are always so unique. I also like that they are seasonal to switch things up. The first drink was a Biscochito Old Fashion. It tasted like an old fashion with a hint of cinnamon and very good. The next was an Earl Grey Lady. This was my favorite of the whole evening. It wasn't sweet but also not bitter. It was just a good combo that I wasn't expecting. I was very surprised about this drink. The beer is called Farmer's Tan and is a red. Beer isn't something I drink anymore but my husband agrees it's not all that bitter.“

“La Cumbre has always been one of the OG breweries around ABQ for years now and what makes it even better is having a bigger location on the west side! La Cumbre always has some awesome seasonal beers on tap at all times, as well as the classics such as Elevated IPA and A taste of Hefe. They also sell their beers to go so you can take a 4 pack to go. Overall La Cumbre is definitely one of the best breweries in NM and hands down makes some of the best Hazies around!“

The quesadilla was also good - big portion and tasted good, while the house chips were so-so. Under their rebrand, they’re crushing the menu market for good eats at reasonable cost but quality ingredients. They’ve currently (Speing 2024) got great entertainment options throughout the week from Music Bingo on Tuesdays, Trivia on Thursdays, and live entertainment most weekends on an awesome patio that is covered so you’re not roasting in the sun!
