Exceptional service and generous portions, but the food was rather lacking. The egg roll was overcooked and a bit dry. The Kung Pao chicken had a mild flavor with no bite - disappointing since the menu implies it's one of their spicier dishes. Still the best Chinese in Ruidoso, but that is rather faint praise.

Delicious! My favorites are: Garlic Chicken, Sesame Chicken, and the Crab Rangoon. The sushi is also top notch, but only available after 6pm, my fav - the (cooked) Love Triangle

The service was amazing. Everyone pitched in and walked around to make sure drinks were filled. The food was good. We will definitely be back to eat there when we come back to Ruidoso. The restaurant had a relaxing vibe to it.

We stopped by for the first time and it was fantastic! We ordered vegetarian chow main 3-4 spice and sweet and sour chicken that were eaten there. Ordered beef chow mein to take to someone else. Everyone was so blown away by the sauces for the meins... real depth of flavor that's hard to find. The guy eating the sweet and sour chicken said it was the best chicken he'd ever had for that type of dish. We'll definitely be going back a lot!

Absolutely and I literally mean Absolutely best service in town!! During our visit hear we had zero issues. The waiters and waitress were like clock work. Constant refills but never in the way or interrupting us. It's like perfect timing. The food was so fricken good and when we got our check we were mind blown at how affordable it actually was! I recommend this place and in my opinion Great Wall is definitely number 1 in this Great Village of Ruidoso! And this is coming from a local that eats out all the time!

Highly over priced for food that honestly isn't that great.. I ordered pork chow mein thinking there would be noodles and there were absolutely none instead I got "crunchy noodles" and white rice.. I'm sorry but what??? This is why I miss living in Texas where the Chinese was incredible.
I ate the excellent local Chinese food. It was surprisingly very good. I didn't think that a Chinese restaurant in a small mountain town would be good. It was really good!

We were in Ruidoso for spring break with extended family and had been less than pleased with the available food options. We tried a few of the local eateries and were disappointed with the quality, value, and availability (most places close by 7p/8p) of options in such a busy tourist town. On top of that, customer service had seemed to be a lost art...until we decided to venture over to order takeout from Great Wall of China!! We all loved the food and absolutely loved the service. The only reason that I docked a star was because of two things (half point deduction on each count): first, we have an egg drop soup connoisseur in our bunch and she was not impressed with the soup. Second, my bro got hooked on ordering the Buddha Jumps over the Wall after reading the menu (there's an epic description on the menu, which describes an iconic dish). Yes, it's a little on the pricey side, but this is a tourist stop/ski town, so it's expected. Everything else was great. Service was stellar, you will not be disappointed. I would strongly recommend the Kung Bao Chicken (not a spelling error, it's their version of Kung Pao). I ordered it without peanuts and with extra sauce... and it was marvelous.

We were told by our friends and locals not to go here but we gave it shot! Here is our experience. We came here as a family and ordered hot food and sushi. The hot food was alright but the sushi was not even close to alright. The rice was very mushy and hard to chew and uneatable. I respectfully told our server that our rice in the sushi was very hard to chew and he said that he will check with the sushi chef. Then the manager came to our table and harassed us and said that there is nothing wrong with the rice and that she ate it and that it tastes good. Mind you she was pretty much yelling at us in front everyone else in the restaurant. She also came to our table with a plate of rice and said that there is nothing wrong and that is how sushi rice is. I figured with the amount of time we waited for our check they would take it off our tab. There was other things that we got that was not good but we did not say anything just out of respect but the wontons in our wonton soup was just the skin and there was barely any meat or anything. The egg drop soup also did not taste good. Both soups were served to us lukewarm/cold. The manager that harassed us was very unprofessional. We were very respectful, did not say any "trigger" words or say that anything was bad, but here's your review that you guys deserve. If we weren't harassed by the manager we would not have minded paying for our food but after all. People only go here because it is one of the only asian restaurants in Ruidoso. Only took one bite of each of our sushi entrees, didn't even take it home. Very disappointed.

Went out for Chinese and had forgotten that it was Chinese New Year. Was a little crowded but the owner and her son jumped in to help. This is some of the best Chinese anywhere. The quality is superb and the staff is on the ball. Must eat here while in Ruidoso.
