I was hesitant to eat here after some of the recent reviews, but our experience was nothing like them. We ordered Calamari for the appetizer and split the 14 oz prime rib for our meal and had the tart for dessert. Everything was wonderful! The prime rib was so tender you could cut it with a fork if you wanted to. My husband wanted cocktail sauce with the calamari and our waitress went to the back and made us some from scratch and it was delicious! The dessert was wonderful also, hot apples, maple bourbon ice cream, caramel sauce and crust, I mean, come on! Who wouldn’t like that! The waitress went way beyond what I’ve experienced at a lot of restaurants recently. And because of the complaints about service I kept an eye on the room. Both our waitress and the waiter taking care of the other half of the room were excellent! Very attentive and fast. The don’t know if the previous complaints had to do with the madness of spring break or what, but I will definitely be back!

Worst experience ever. Paid 125 for 2 steak dinners and 2 drinks. Had to send my steak back because I asked for well done and it wasn’t what I asked the waiter to send it back and he did. My steak came back in the Sam pieces I sent it but, it was burnt I do not recommend this establishment to anyone .Kid-friendliness: Not

If I could give half a star I would. We went for our anniversary dinner and it was horrible! We waited 30 minutes for our drinks, 40 for our appetizer. Our food didn’t arrive for over an hour and I had to ask about our salads. We asked for a manager and he offered a free dessert until my husband said he wasn’t paying $45 for 9 pieces of elk. Their prices are high because they need to make up for all the means they have to discount.

We arrived late, minutes away from closing time. The staff made no indication that they were closing soon and were very accommodating. McKenna was our server and she was very sweet and extremely helpful. I ordered a dish that they were not offering anymore and the kitchen still made it with a slightly different protein. It was excellent. My wife ordered the French Onion soup and it was the best she ever had. Her wedge salad was also spot on with fresh crispy iceberg and excellent dressing and toppings. We were extremely pleased and highly recommend The Rancher. We will be back!

I must say this restaurant was my 3rd choice but due to the off season our other choices were closed. Their loss, The Ranchers was absolutely amazing. We arrived early for the dinner menu but had a few drinks and they took our order early. Had the stuffed Portabella mushroom for an appetizer. Absolutely Devine. My wife had the Angus ribeye which was cooked to perfection with a baked potatoe. While I had the chile wrapped beef tips. The beef tips melted in my mouth. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was outstanding. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable with the menu and drinks. Thank you Ranchers for the great meal and memory.
