Have always enjoyed Jambo. What a pleasure to have an African cuisine restaurant here in Santa Fe. During the pandemic this has been one of our go-to restaurants for take out. We had the Moroccan kebab and a combo plate with the lamb stew, chicken curry and chicken peanut plus the black bean soup. Totally delicious and varied. I was in Santa Fe for half of the day and came across Jambo café for lunch. They are only doing takeout right now but they have a full menu. I ordered the Jamaican chicken organic salad and the date coconut chocolate flourless cake. My friend ordered the jerk chicken wrap with the sweet potato and harissa lemon fries, and hummus.Each dish had a large amount of food! We ate our our to-go order in the truck and gave ourselves an "A" grade for staying stain free as our two sandwiches oozed delicious drippings with each bite. Hubs had the Jerk Chicken sandwich and I had the Moroccan Beef Brisket sandwich; YUM x 2!! Our order was ready well within the 15 minutes quoted - hot and fresh with quality ingredients and satisfying flavors. Thank you, Jambo! Well done!
