Friendly unpretentious family establishment. Typical menu for Northern NM with burgers, frito pie, breakfast burritos. Only open for Breakfast and lunch. Not open 7 days a week. Sometimes closed during times they should be open but many places in Santa Fe are this way.

Good food and they accommadated our party of 14 at the last moment. Huevos Rancheros, pancakes, sopapillas, and french toast were delicious. Not too crazy about their Menudo, Frito pie or Posole. The Menudo didnt have hominy and bowl size was small (I've eaten Menudo all of my life in California, Texas and New Mexico and never had a bowl if it without hominy). Cute little roadside cafe. I would say for the most part the food is on par for what you’d expect for a roadside diner. Two things set this place apart: 1) the decor 2) the whole wheat sopapilla.The inside has a nice southwest decor which we enjoyed very much. We also visited on a sunny day and sat in the front area which has many large windows to let the sun in, which only added to the ambiance.The clear star of the show here is the whole wheat sopapilla.
