The food isn't very good I will not eat there anymore

Friendly unpretentious family establishment. Typical menu for Northern NM with burgers, frito pie, breakfast burritos. Only open for Breakfast and lunch. Not open 7 days a week. Sometimes closed during times they should be open but many places in Santa Fe are this way.

Temporarily Closed - they suffered a fire on July 17th and are working on getting things fixed

Small plates, small portions, hash browns uncooked and more expensive than Michael's in Taos.

Nice food good price, friendly people. What's not to like? The breakfast burrito was the winner for sure.

Pretty good breakfast for roadside diner north of Santa Fe headed to Taos.

Good food and they accommadated our party of 14 at the last moment. Huevos Rancheros, pancakes, sopapillas, and french toast were delicious. Not too crazy about their Menudo, Frito pie or Posole. The Menudo didnt have hominy and bowl size was small (I've eaten Menudo all of my life in California, Texas and New Mexico and never had a bowl if it without hominy). Frito pie and Posole the same, small bowl. Hostess and waitress were helpful and friendly though and kept drinks topped off despite the size of our dining party. Overall good dining place.

Very good food. This place isn't a fancy restaurant but it is fun and community centered. The waitresses were both super nice and accommodating.

For the type of restaurant it is, I think the food was way more expensive especially for items I ordered..

Cute little roadside cafe. I would say for the most part the food is on par for what you’d expect for a roadside diner. Two things set this place apart: 1) the decor 2) the whole wheat sopapilla. The inside has a nice southwest decor which we enjoyed very much. We also visited on a sunny day and sat in the front area which has many large windows to let the sun in, which only added to the ambiance. The clear star of the show here is the whole wheat sopapilla. We visit New Mexico a couple times a year and have sopapillas every time, and this was the first time having a whole wheat one. It was probably the best sopapilla I’ve ever had so it’s worth stopping in just for that if you’re in the area. Make sure to eat them hot because it’s the absolute best! (And don’t forget the honey)

Great stop on our trip between Arizona and Colorado. Very friendly staff and won't hesitate to make anything off the menu. Will definitely drop in again if I'm ever in the area.

Well my plate had an odd taste It tasted as if it was from old cooking oil my husband loved his plate but after eating there his stomach started violently hurting we think it was from the hashbrowns then when we were checking out ..one of the waitresses tried to go claim her tips when the lady at the register seemed to get annoyed and made her wait then when we paid and left we checked our account and we noticed the same lady didn't add our tip to our bill leaving the same waitress without a tip??? I feel this was done on purpose!! If I worked there and the cashier told me a customer didn't tip I would check on this asap that's wrong and disappointing because our server was great!

We bought 5 breakfast burritos for our family. They were about $10 each. The burritos were quite small and lacked flavor. Everybody was disappointed and commented on how they weren't that great.

Great food, great people. Everything on the menu is worth trying. Great stop on the way to Chimayo or Ojo Caliente
