Nice place with really good Mexican food and excellent service - on a par with other local restaurants with hour+ waits. Outdoor courtyard is very lovely. Good vegetarian options.

Food was not good. Carne asada was just not good meat and seemed to be cooked low and slow, opposite of what you want. Service was not great, but they were nice, hence the two stars. Server made very few appearances. Ambiance was super basic. Not sure why the reviews of this place are so good. I've had better Mexican food all over the country.

Visiting from Kansas. Everything was great, hands down the best ceviche I've ever had! Highly recommend!!!

Place was clean, service was dope and food was okay.... I ordered the "mamalona" (beer and tomato juice) which was fire! Got the ceviche which was also fire...for the main dish... well it was good according to company ... but for me... i had to eat it i ordered it... all in all it was good! Just do it!!!!

Fulfilled my fiancés Mexican food craving. Food was good but not worth what we paid, but welcome to inflation. You have to wait outside to be seated which is weird. Especially cold in the winter. Our server kept dissing us and trying to come back later. It was good. But not great.

Worst margarita I’ve ever had. Tasted like watered down Gatorade with salt. Inexcusable. The food is good, though - on a par with places with hour+ waits. Wait staff super friendly but need to remember to come back and check in. Outdoor courtyard very lovely. 4 stars because you can always drink beer.

I love Mexican food and it was okay. Food was average and rice was pretty terrible. I can get past average food most of the time, but the service sealed the deal. It took 10 minutes for someone to pick up the credit card in the bill. Then took 4 minutes to get the card back. Restaurant had people in it, but it wasn't packed. I think our waitress went on break after giving us the bill. We had the card out in hand when she gave us the check but she didn't take it before disappearing. Strange experience overall.

Great meal! Had the Red Trout and loved it. Cooked to perfection and the sauce was just right.

Very accommodating and friendly Mexican restaurant just off the Plaza in Taos. Our extended family used them for takeout a couple of times during our vacation right around the corner. The kids were really enthusiastic about a variety of tacos, and I'd say the food is a cut above most similar restaurants, but the choices are the usual ones. I liked my enchiladas, too, and we all really liked their beans! On my second visit I arrived before the food was ready to go, and had the very friendly bartender make me a really excellent Margarita to ease the wait!

Asked for nachos, on actual advertisement it looked amazing. Got it and was extremely disappointed. There was onions for some odd reason, no sour cream. And just overall tasteless even the cheese was different. ?

Let's get right to the point - the food here was excellent. Everything we ordered, especially the tres leches cake, was delicious. The portions were plentiful and the spice level was just shy of being too spicy. Excellent.I ordered the relleños with the mole sauce. While the sauce was flavorful and delicately spiced, there was so much oil in it that the sauce broke and separated. Hardly a big deal - I still at it all happily. My only other criticism is that employees were eating in the same room, at the same time, as usual. There are plenty of rooms in this place, including outside dining. It would have been slightly more pleasant not to hear about their problems.

Had a reservation for 8 people but when we arrived we were told that we would have to sit at two separate tables. Food was just average. Had to ask for tortillas that went with our meal and received rice and beans instead of double rice as requested. Ambiance was diner like.
