So glad to have made it into town to try Chokola. The sipping chocolate was devine as were the truffles. Beautiful ambiance and kind staff.

Our favorite was the caramel tarte! Overall everything was tasty but way smaller portions in person. Everything is made there! Side note:They have root beer floats!Would recommend…

World class chocolate shop in a vintage building. Their trio tasting will change your life. Don't miss the drinking chocolate and the mousse. Lovely spot to get some reading done.

This is very, very special chocolate. We even returned a second time--may have returned more if we weren't headed home after that. The sipping chocolate is heavenly. I saw one review that complained that their cup wasn't full--I don't know about their experience. In my two experiences they were full up. And for the size, keep in mind that this is sipping chocolate, not hot cocoa which has water in it. So instead of thinking of the size comparing it to hot cocoa, think of chocolate in liquid form, as that is much closer to what sipping chocolate is.We got the vegan chocolate cake per recommendations. It was a bit dry for us, but still tasty. Happily we also ordered the coffee mouse, which is really rich, with we ate together with the cake, balancing both.Lastly, the truffles are phenomenal. Had to go back for more.In summary, so so so good

Deeply tasty, rich sipping chocolate (I had the Arabian). We wandered in at random around 3:30 and shortly after we sat down some sort of rush ensued. Still not sure where they all came from! The fellow at the counter was very patient during the unending stream of customers, and dispensed both chocolate knowledge and Taos tips. Visitors and locals alike were in abundance, so it felt like we were in one of those third-place community spots.Note: there is only seating for about 8 at 4 tiny tables inside, but there’s much more on the patio/alley if the weather is cooperating.Dietary restrictions: At least one of the small selection of baked goods was GF.

Disappointed that no one returns your voice message. I'm trying to get the cacao-- Madagassar & Venzuala. Someone in October 2023 did call and mentioned the store was upgrading their equipment. Called in February x 3.... crickets. It's a great little store with different kinds of goodies, but customer service needs to improve

I've never seen a mousse bar before, but it was amazing, and the tasting trio is a good way to try a few as well as the sipping chocolate. Portion sizes on the trio were also really good!

Loved this artisan chocolate shop. They have an open concept so you can watch them make the chocolate in the back. I popped in to get myself a little Valentine’s Day gift. I love the unique flavored the offer and how they incorporate herbs into their chocolates. The Barista was friendly and joked with me as he made my cappa. Wonderful staff. The have beautiful mural art as well

If you are a chocoholic, this is the place for you. They have absolutely the most excellent chocolates I have ever tasted. They do all the processing themselves, from bean to confection. Their sipping chocolates are smooth, thick, creamy and heavenly. I like the Aztec, with caramelized cinnamon. Any of their chocolate truffles are delightful. And for real heaven, have a mousse. The Madagascar is what I had and it was wonderful. This is the only reason to go to Taos.

This is a MUST visit. An unassuming shop with incredible chocolate and service. You cannot go wrong with the tasting trio. There are even a few tables around to enjoy a treat inside. The space is warm and welcoming.
