“Today I stopped at this new restaurant as I was looking forward to hopefully enjoy something different for lunch. They truly exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is quaint, the people are so friendly (even met Mom), the price point very reasonable, the menu although small (which is very smart since they are brand new) had options that I cannot get anywhere else and it tasted absolutely amazing. I definitely will be returning regularly. Ohhh and all I could do was talk about my lunch all afternoon. This place will no doubt be a success.“
“Try the fishcakes, beans, and chow, they are super yummy!I really liked the cozy decor, with plants, a fireplace, bright windows with a view of the lake, and local art. Didn't try any baked goods today but the scones looked really good too. Our server was super friendly and nice.“
“I have been here twice once in bedford which was the best experience. lovely service. went to sackville location and it was aweful. we ate in and it was given to us in a box with two plastic forks. the lady also said we close in 20min. she then walked away. we ate our cheesecake the lady was out back the whole time. we got up and she still did not come out. the cheesecake also still had the pieces of paper on either side of it. she just flopped into a box. I can't imagine the owner would be impressed as she served myself and my friend in bedford with class and professionalism. hopefully she sees how her staff are here in sackville.“
“Great service and nice atmosphere. I ordered a mochachino with a blueberry loaf cake. The cake was delicious and the coffee was good as well. The store was quite spacious with lots of sitting area. A nice spot to hang out with friends and enjoying “
“The service was great, the server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We started with the chicken finger appetizer. It was huge, this needs to be shared. The fingers had a crispy homemade batter and the chicken was moist. I had the fish and chips. Light batter over a very nice piece of fish. Their tartar sauce has a fresh herby flavor. We finished with the sticky pudding that was the star of the dinner. Rich, dark cake with a creamy, sweet sauce. We shared this desert but I wished I had gotten my own.“
“Loved this little hidden gem, their Pain au chocolat is a must try. They seem to have perfected their recipes as all the baked goods were moist and soft, they melt right away. Absolutely loved their coffee. The staff was very friendly and patient, the cafe had the right atmosphere to sit in to enjoy your drink and pastries and work. Prices are reasonable for the amounts. They also have a wall of coffee and other items for sale for anyone interested in purchasing them.“
“We were staying at the Delta and found this place using a search engine. Not a great menu for breakfast BUT it was all we needed. They offer a breakfast sandwich or traditional breakfast. Both are super cheap and were delicious! The staff is super nice too! They were getting ready for lunch when we were there and it looked delicious!“
“Great little gem in Burnside located right beside the DQ. Next time you're in the 'hood and need a cuppa joe, skip the Timmies and pop into this place. You won't regret it. They have about 6-8 different coffees on the brew (even a fair trade!), all self serve. 4 sizes of cups (biodegradable!). 4 milk options. A nice selection of sandwiches, soups and treats for the lunch crowd. They also have a small convenience section. Comfortable booth style seating and a couple couches in the "living room" area. Great place to relax. They have wi-fi for customers as well. Their espresso/latte machine was broken when I went in, not sure if they intend to fix it or not.“
“Stopped into this Cafe for the first time when i discovered my other favourite local cafe closed down :(I went with a bacon breakfast sandwich and let me tell you.. i am usually a pick eater and it comes with things i would usually leave aside. however i decided to try it as it was intended and i do NOT regret it. One of the best I’ve had here in dartmouth.I also got an iced latte, again, not my usual but it was delicious and creamy. The atmosphere is super welcoming and pleasant all the staff were smiling and it seemed they had a good flow going for how busy they were while I was there ! However, a bit small, it would be awesome if they had the space to expand !I also noticed they had a “Put it on a tab” for those who may not be able to afford a meal. A+ to you guys ! will definitely be back in the future !“
