Our waitress was very nice and provided great service. Everyone enjoyed the ribs. I had the Chicken Mushroom which was recommended by the waitress and it was very good. Definitely will go again.

We came in last Tuesday. (would have just reachout to a Manager. but no reply back by email) We had the WORST experience. Hour & a half wait for our food. (it was dead when we came in) Server ignored us for a hour. We had to track down our waiter for another beer. Food came out very cold. Would never go back.

Can't say anything Negative - Obviously. Clubhouse was displayed well (for $22 wish they used Arugula vs Lettuce but luckily I had had some leftover from the Tempura Shrimp). The pretzel served on a Banana Hanger was Boystrous & Fun!!! Creme Brule had the flavor but unfortunately not the Crunchy Top layer... Can't complain tho for $9. Parmesan truffle fries were Amazing but not covered in Parm like the menu photos show so were more Garlic Buttery vs Parmy. Atmosphere & Experience was worth any minor Hicupps. The 2 block wall to our Vehicle after being Overstuffed was Gruesome tho. Take into consideration parking is very Limited and you will have to Walk.

My wife and I arrived at the baton Rouge on Feb 17 for a 6:00pm dinner. We both ordered the half rack ribs with a Caesar salad and the server asked if we were sure as the half rack wasn't very big. She was correct as the ribs were not much larger than my cell phone with the Caesar in a small round dish. The ribs were obviously reheated as the order came to the table about five or six minutes after ordering and were very dried up. You can't cook ribs in five minutes. We arrived about 6:00 and were done dining and out the door by 6:20.If I wanted fast food I'd go to MacDonalds.

The ambiance was ok, service was acceptable, but the food was not good. It was overpriced and flavorless. We could have gone to Montana's for the same thing and paid a little less for a much better meal.

First experience for Baton Rouge was in ottawa it is phenomenal. I was hoping the same in Halifax but was disappointed. The 2 steak and rib where cold to start with and my wife ordered some kind of bowl with lobster in it , she was almost empty. The lobster tail that i ordered with the steak was extra small but was ok

Our waiter kept apologizing for being too busy then wouldn't return for long spells of time.. checked on us once after someone else ran the food to our table. We weren't charged for my husbands desert because it took 15 minutes, but our food took over 30 minutes to make it to table. We understood it was busy, upstairs but downstairs was quiet. That being said, it was quiet in terms of tables being full. There were two gentleman cursing and carrying on at the bar for a long period of time. Still served, and allowed to carry on. We had to sit in awkward silence because talking to eachother meant we had to yell over the two men. Just not something we would have expected on a Sunday night at a fine dining establishment

We should have taken her advice as the serving was not much larger than my cell phone and the Caesar salad came in a small round dish. From sitting down to finishing our meal took no more than fifteen minutes. If I want fast food I'll go to MacDonalds.

We made a reservation for our anniversary and we were seated in the bar next to a heater. We would have preferred the dining room. It was very warm at times. Our server was more preoccupied with her other tables. We waited to order even though she walked by a few times. Ordered dessert and coffee and the coffee was almost gone by the time the dessert came. Food was great. The experience was not.

When you put on a Dine Around menu, the purpose is to showcase your absolute BEST so that locals will be enticed back year round. While the ambiance was fine, the service was acceptable and the noise was a low murmur, the food - that all-important piece to bring customers in - was a sad disappointment. The steak, while cooked correctly, was so tough my spouse couldn't cut through it. Tasted ok, but really gristly. The vegetables were a greasy pile of discolored goo that looked like they'd been in a steam table all night, but we were there early with hardly anybody else in the restaurant! (A red flag I missed, I suppose). I got the rack of ribs. I don't know what they used to season them, but it had no flavor at all. They fell off the bone but the meat (the little there was) tasted off, not quite tainted, but closer than I would have served. And again, NO FLAVOR beyond the slight hint of char from the burnt parts. I will try other restaurants in the area, there are plenty. I see no reason to return to Baton Rouge Grillhouse.

My favourite in all of HRM. 10/10 every single time. I miss the hot apples though!

One steak was ordered medium well but came out more on the well done side. Grey. Also the table hote add on for 15$ was confusing. Not only for us but the waiter.. asked if we get the dessert and salad and drink. Was told yes but when we went to order dessert was told it was an add on...so we paid 15$ for salad and a pop. Dissatisfied and disappointed

One of our most pleasant evenings out in a long time. The food was well-prepared and delicious. Our server Nathaniel made the whole experience next level, though - friendly, attentive but not intrusive, warm and sincere.
