(Surprisingly) my favourite place for lunch in this area for almost 4 years. Looks like some of the negative reviews are for "boring breakfast"- I recommend the burger or shawarma.diner is diner. 5/5 for hole-in the-wall atmosphere

I got the crispy chicken wrap which was wrapped with a pita bread rather than a flour tortilla—just an observation, I didn’t mind at all. It was pretty good and a decent portion, especially considering the price. I also had this light fluffy cake which was a nice treat after having the sandwich. The service was very quick and direct. To be fair, I was the only one there at this time but I appreciate this kind of service nonetheless. The place looks quite rough so it could use a facelift but things are functional and comfortable enough.I could see this as a really great take-away when you want to grab something for lunch and need to head off elsewhere.

A little hidden gem in downtown Halifax. Amazing breakfast to fill you up. I am picky with my omelette and they made it just right. I was visiting Halifax and stopped here three times because the food is good and affordable. They make their food fresh so you will have to wait but it is worth it. I also tried their chicken shawarma and it was delicious especially their hummus. Good food and service.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free diet available.

A hidden gem in downtown Halifax. Good breakfast since everything is made fresh to taste. You have to wait for them to prepare the food which is worth it. I am particular how I like my omelet but they got it right. The have breakfast sandwich too. Potatoes fries is tasty. Tried their chicken shawarma and it was amazing. Hummus is delicious. Good price and plenty to fill you up.

I love this place, I always get the lasagna and side salad but the side of chips are so good too. The prices are so cheep and it’s such a cute little cafe right downtown. Love love love!

Love coming in to eat or picking up the all day breakfast to go- crispy well seasoned home fries are the winner ?

Great food, great prices. Could be a fantastic place if it was run properly.

We got the shawarma plate and it wasn't too heavy but also not much flavour. The price was okay considering there was a generous amount of meat. I would probably not want to eat in as the place was dark but the people working there were nice.
