The staff, however, is the best part. You're always greeted with a friendly face and the staff has gone above and beyond twice, to ensure that I receive my Christmas and Easter orders ahead of time, before I travel back home for the holidays. I ordered takeout here for the first time in a few months. They no longer have a gluten free fryer. They also changed their gluten free buns. Unfortunately the new buns are awful, major celiac disappointment. The gf Mac and cheese was still great.

Their specials are always amazing, plus they've got some very delicious staples. Don't ever pass up a special though. Their ham and cheese sandwich in the deli case is surprisingly very tasty as well! Plus the staff is super chill.

I have been creeping on real fake meats for awhile and thought there's no way it can be as tasty as it looks. finally got to try it today and it was mind blowingly good.

We went here in search of vegan Halifax donair and my husband (who was craving the original) was very impressed. We split a chicken caeser salad and it was incredible!! So flavourful, still craving it. The space to eat in was comfortable and the staff were great. We also took some frozen food home to heat up for our Christmas meal. Everything was delicious, what a great place! #Veganuary

Highly recommended!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Just wow! I was so excited to try this place and I was not disappointed. We shared 3 large meals between 3 people and we couldn't finish it all. Large portions are very large. The donair was so good I wish I could eat and never get full or gain weight I would've eaten 10. The poutine was very delicious, the coconut curd cheese had an interesting texture. The Mac and cheese was good but not the best of the 3. The lemon pie was far too sweet for me and the meringue was far too thick and heavy, but it was delicious! I should've shared a piece instead of on my own.

I’ve wanted to write a review for RFM for a long time now, but never felt that words could truly capture the awesomeness of this place. I’ve tried plant based restaurants in many major cities around the world and nothing compares to RFM, we are extremely fortunate to have this here in Halifax. My partner and I usually eat out or order in once a week and we like to try new places but honestly, all we really want is RFM, which is what we typically end up deciding on! Can’t say enough good things, the staff are always so nice, and the food is out of this world. Lately I’m really into the popcorn chicken poutine, and they have a roast beef sandwich on right now which blew my mind. RFM, you guys rock, changing the plant based scene here in Hali!

I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately when we tried it tonight their donairs were so terrible neither of us could finish them. It was as if they had forgotten to put any donair sauce on them, the spice was just overwhelming and it was so dry. It was so bad.The curly fries, on the other hand, were amazing! So two stars for that. Great fries, but not enough that we would want to go back after this experience.
