“This place wasn't my first choice, but I'm some glad my other options didn't pan out. I tried calling other establishments in the area, and I was either met with silence or a rude person answering the phone. This place? The customer service was sweet right off the bat. My hotel is only a short walking distance, so my spouse and I ventured over for a late supper/date night.When we entered the establishment, our server greeted us warmly and brought us over to our table immediately. I managed to get my coat off and be seated before water was brought out along with menus. As I've said previously, the service was impeccable and sweet. We chose our appetizers, main course, and drinks. We did not wait long before food was brought out. We ordered ebi fry and karaage for our apps. My main course was the tantanmen ramen, and my spouse chose the tonkotsu. We each ordered a beer to go with our dishes.I absolutely loved and devoured my dish. The appetizers were perfect, and my food was delicious. Our sweet server checked in with us routinely to see how we were doing, and I appreciated that a lot. I must admit, we probably looked a bit silly trying to eat with chopsticks (since it was mostly our first time), but no one batted an eye. It was a struggle for me, but I was determined to learn quickly, and I ate my whole meal just fine. The broth was spicy (but not too spicy for me), the pork was delicious, and I loved the veggies. The tastes blended quite well together. The varying textures and tastes made it comfortable and delightful for my sensitive palate. The atmosphere was cozy for the two of us, and there was plenty of room for solos, duos, or groups to enjoy eating there. I loved the setup of the room and the music they played quietly in the background. The lighting made it a nice, cozy atmosphere for the two of us to enjoy our sweet date.This spot will definitely be a must for us to return to when we come back and visit. From the service to the food, you can't go wrong. If you love ramen, you'll love this place. I'm so happy we went here on a whim tonight.“
“Our favorite spot in Halifax. Amazing quality for the price, and the portions are always huge. It is so good every single time, you need to try it. The crispy fried chicken is the best, I recommend the appetizer plate of it vs the noodle bowl. The crispiness is just spot on and it comes with pickles on the side. The spicy tan tan ramen is my absolute favourite and I never stray.“

“I always saw this place anytime I went to Sobeys or access NS but never thought to try it because we don’t like pickles. I was thinking it might be pickle oriented. We gave it a try today and had an amazing brunch, Saiid went above and beyond for us. Being a single mom going out to eat with two small kids isn’t an easy task but Saiid made sure we felt welcome and comfortable moving an extra round table closer to us so my kids could continue to Color while they ate. Thank you for the wonderful brunch, it was delish, we’ll be back ! :)“
“I love this restaurant! So many delish dishes to please every palate.We were there for lunch. The lunch specials are vast, and average 13-15$ each.There was lots of parking, and great seating available.The only reason that I gave it a 4/5 for wait staff is that the waitstaff were a bit over pushy and borderline rude.I have food allergies so many sauces make me ill. I love ribs. So I tried to order my lunctime special plated BBQ ribs without the sauce. That was an issue, apparently a big one. The wait staff told me the dish was BBQ and so it had to be BBQ sauce on the ribs or they would "not taste good". After about 4 attempts to explain that I cannot have the sauce for my dietary restrictions, they agreed to put it on the side. What a waste of their time and sauce, ahah. Otherwise, great service. Great food. Great place!You would not leave there hungry. Yum!!Dietary restrictions: Lots of options for those of us with dietary restrictions. Just be prepared in advance it may be an isssue to explain "no sauce please." And just accept it on the side lol.“
“I travel for work and I'm always on the lookout for authentic African cuisine. I recently discovered this gem of a restaurant, which is probably one of the best African restaurants I've ever been to. I loved it so much that I brought some back to my dad in Ontario and he absolutely loved it, especially their assorted stew. Their food quality, service, and pricing are all excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone and personally wish I could bring the whole place back to Ontario with me.Parking: Never had an issueKid-friendliness: It’s a family restaurant.
