Repeatedly disappointed by this place. First of all, they call themselves a "bar and lounge" but close at 4pm every day? Even during Halifax Burger Week? Ridiculous.What they don't tell you is that their kitchen also closes at 3pm. Good luck getting any food after 3pm until they close at 4pm.And during Halifax Burger Week, even though we went at 2pm, they ran out of vegan ingredients early and did not share this on social media, wasting our time to go across the bridge to The Nook specifically to get their vegan burger. Still had plenty of unhealthy non-vegan burgers left, of course, but ran out of the vegan ones early due to obviously poor planning. We were going to buy 3 burgers, but now I am disgusted with this place. Wasted time REPEATEDLY going over there only to be turned down REPEATEDLY for unacceptable reasons for their lack of preparation, poor planning, and poor customer service.They also NEVER answer their phone no matter how many times you try to call to get information or make an order. If someone had answered their phone or posted on their social media about the vegan burgers running out early, we could have saved a few trips.Shame on you, Nook. And shame on me if I waste my time going there again. Certainly not recommending The Nook to anyone I know.

I had the kitchen sink sandwich. Was cold on the inside warm on the outside, wasn't heated up properly I guess. Tasted good though.

Ordered the chicken tenders, which seemed like frozen chicken tenders from the grocery store – total rip off. Would have been cheaper to just buy PC brand at Superstore. The Heart Stopper sandwich was decent but nothing special.

Super cute little spot with kind and friendly staff but I'm not here to review the establishment. No. My life was changed when I ate the vegan power wrap.First off, I'm not a vegan. Secondly, I love eggs, I love sausages, I love breakfast food in general.This wrap has no eggs, no sausage but let me tell you, it was incredible. I don't even understand what's in this fella but oh god it is delicious. There's some sort of maple sauce in there and honestly? It might be crack. I just ate it this morning and I want it again. I want to drink a full cup of this sauce through a straw. I want this injected straight into my veins.Eat this at your own risk. You will love it. You will love it the second time. It will take over your life and it will be all you think about every waking moment of your life.
The coffee here is amazing, the bagel with cream cheese is all that too. I look forward to trying out the other menu items sometime soon! Prices are also very reasonable.

I dropped in quickly while walking to work, and I was very impressed. The staff member I dealt with was kind, welcoming, and quick with my order. The drip coffee was warm and very good. As well the PB cookies I had were fantastic. The space was cozy and cute. Will 100% be back, sad it took me this long to go in the first place!
