“I have been creeping on real fake meats for awhile and thought there's no way it can be as tasty as it looks. finally got to try it today and it was mind blowingly good. I had the Benny (small portion, which was by no means actually a small portion). wow. my son had the grilled cheese and fries and he loved it as well. amazing food, amazing service, this will definitely be a stop for our halifax trips!“
“Stopped in for a late lunch while visiting Halifax. We made a reservation online, but there was plenty of seating available. However, it isn't a big dining room, so plan accordingly. We ordered the pakoras as an appetizer, and they we're served with two different types of sauces. The chilli lime burger was delicious as well and served with potato wedges. Our bill for 3 of us, including one appetizer, 3 lunches, 2 non alcoholic, and one glass of wine, was $100 before gratuities.Vegetarian options: The menu is plant based and they have nut free and gotten free options available.“
“Right now, they have the best vegan donair in Halifax. It's not exactly the same as the original - the meat is thicker and less spiced and the sauce is less sweet - but the result is something very delicious. Pair it with the dragon fries and you will constantly come back! Lots on the menu that's good, and their specials are great. Love their pressed juices too.“
“This place has FANTASTIC food. I highly recommend the Springwich and the dill pickle pasta salad. Their groceries are great too, wide variety and their fresh food is well priced. Amazing staff who seems to really like the neighbourhood and are super friendly. I never miss a chance to stop in AND they are on the food delivery apps!“
“I'm not one for the city but any time we go we make a point to stop at Sweet Hereafter! In fact, I would almost make the trip for it alone! It really is the best cheesecake anywhere and I haven't had a bad slice yet. Check out their Instagram for their daily flavour list. Can't go wrong with classic Triple Chocolate but we had Oodles of Noodles this weekend too which was divine“
