By far my favourite Nova Scotia cider. Love the farmhouse style of some of the ciders, certainly not overwhelming, but more layered and complex than many other quality NS ciders. Worth trying it wherever available, I just order some online and the customer service is also top notch.

Wow! What an incredible discovery at the end of Crocker atop the South Mountain! We've been buying Wild's ciders (formerly Boar's Back Ciders) exclusive at the NSLC and were so thrilled to discover that they've got a space that's open to the public where you can buy their cider directly from the owner, Bryan. Not a huge space, it's the location, process and raw taste that will swallow you and tease your tastebuds! A small selection of small-batch ciders is worth the visit! Fill up your own growler for $15 (or buy one of theirs for an extra $5). Tall boys of their ciders are much more affordable here vs. the liquor store. You'll love when you discover this super secret spot only locals know about. You won't find a sign at the bottom of the road pointing you to go. Use the GPS to get here and go all the way to the top of Crocker. You'll see the simple wooden 'cider' sign at the end of their drive; keep going all the way to the top until you see the shed :)

Tried Boars Back Cider for the first time at Chainyard in Halifax and fell in love A friend, my husband and I dropped by their shop off Harmony Road.I came away with Windemere, Cask 17-14 and Appleachian, I love a nice dry cider and this definitely makes the grade. Learning about the traditional pressing, fermentation process and passion put into each batch made me love it even more. I lived in Aylesford as a child so I'm appreciative that passionate brewers are keeping Aylesford awesome. Thanks.

Well worth stopping in if you’re in the area or traveling to if you happen to be a cider fan more generally. It’s so refreshing to find a cider producer in the region who is interested in producing a variety of product without relying on gimmicks.A hidden gem for sure - I’ll be back sooner than later.
