Wow! What an incredible discovery at the end of Crocker atop the South Mountain! We've been buying Wild's ciders (formerly Boar's Back Ciders) exclusive at the NSLC and were so thrilled to discover that they've got a space that's open to the public where you can buy their cider directly from the owner, Bryan. Tried Boars Back Cider for the first time at Chainyard in Halifax and fell in love A friend, my husband and I dropped by their shop off Harmony Road.I came away with Windemere, Cask 17-14 and Appleachian, I love a nice dry cider and this definitely makes the grade. Learning about the traditional pressing, fermentation process and passion put into each batch made me love it even more. By far my favourite Nova Scotia cider. Love the farmhouse style of some of the ciders, certainly not overwhelming, but more layered and complex than many other quality NS ciders. Worth trying it wherever available, I just order some online and the customer service is also top notch.
