“Ate here Wednesday during lunch hour with a group of 11. Had made reservations prior and were seated right away. Were seated in a room with lots of old photographs on the walls which were large and interesting to read about. Tables are spacioulsy separated so you can enjoy conversation with those at your table, even with it being as long as it was! I also took a look outside and their outside seating area is beautiful with great views! Our waitress was attentive and friendly! One guest enjoyed beer, others wine and myself the blueberry cream soda which was delicious! We didn't wait too long for our meals and they all came out together. I enjoyed my prosciutto flatbread, others had fish & chips, seafood chowder, fishcakes, chicken & brie sandwich, and the reuben. All the food was hot and there were no complaints! Unfortunately we were too full for dessert, but all the choices sounded great!”

“What an awesome day for a drive for the First Monday in April 2023. Sunshine, the the forest bones of winter shaking off the cold. Trip from Halifax to New Minas to Big Mike Pizza. Definitely worth the drive. Definitely our favourite pizza.”

“We first visited Le Caveau in 2019 and were excited to come back. The patio was just as beautiful and charming as I remembered. We ordered a few appetizers, scallop mafalde, Morteau sausage, Atlantic cod, and a Reuben for lunch. Unfortunately, the food quality was noticeably lower than I remembered, which was disappointing given how much we enjoyed it last time. The service was excellent, though, and the beautiful patio made for a lovely afternoon overall.”

“I usually get a coffee with cream which has always been delicious coffee but today got a vanilla iced coffee and it seriously tasted like something you’d order in Hawaii! Glad to have a something comparable until I can go back to the islands! We love the coffeehouse!!!”

“There are lots of good things to say about Dayan. The place is clean, the owner is super friendly, and the portion sizes are 1/3 larger for the price than we've gotten at any sushi place in Halifax or the Valley. On the down side, we had 5 different rolls between us, all spicy, and unfortunately the sauce was so heavy handed that the only taste differentiation was the fact that some had teriyaki sauce and some didn’t. The rolls were also a bit hard to eat as they fell apart when picked up. Fresh food and good value, but a little more variety in flavour would be appreciated.”

“used to love the dairy free ice cream, but unfortunately since the original owners have sold the business it's just not the same. the ice cream is completely different and doesn't taste the same, and the gluten free waffle cones are always stale. unfortunately I would not recommend this place anymore.”

“I went to the Naked Crepe with my girlfriends today. It was my first experience having a crepe. I chose the donair crepe. It was huge, so filling with delicious locally made donair meat. I also had their homemade soup which was heart and tasty as well. My friends had dessert crepes and all raved about their individual flavours. Our server was delightful and we were quickly waited on and served. 10/10 will definitely be back. 😊”

“We ordered delivery last night and the delivery driver called to apologize for the delay- I didn’t even think it was taking long! He let us know he would be another 15 minutes and again apologized. When he got to our place, he gave us a free pop to make up for the wait. Again, I really didn’t think it was taking that long but I really appreciated his customer service!! He went above and beyond”

“Saw some of the menu pics online for this hidden Wolfville spot and was eager to try. (Scallops, sausage and risotto!) Unfortunately they have actually gone to simply a lunch spot due to time for family (totally respect that!) and only offer daytime service and specifically lunch/sandwich items. But a few of the early reviews also mention the chicken sandwich being heavenly so this and a Jarritos Mandarin was the order of choice. (Companion had a Fish Sandwich and diet coke!) Glowing reviews were right about the Sandwich. Chicken was fried to perfection with a soft bun and perfect amount of slaw and sauce to make it tasty. (Got mild but you can go spicy if desired!) Put's the Popeye's Spicy Chicken Sandwich to shame! Had a bite of the Fish Sandwich as well and it was also a notably delicious choice. All in all since their lunch fare was so good would have loved to try those dinner items, but family coming first for them is apparently just like their great food - a sign of care and excellence. Yummy.”

“Wow! We stopped in for supper and were really impressed. Upon server recommendation, I ordered the Breakfast Poutine. Not something I’d normally choose… but it was incredible! It was the perfect blend of golden home fries, crispy bacon pieces, gooey cheese curds, and perfectly-cooked eggs, all topped with delicious hollandaise sauce. I have a new fav menu item!! Our server, Nora, was immediately welcoming. She greeted us warmly and made our visit cozy and enjoyable. Amazing food, atmosphere, and excellent customer service from Nora. Really impressed with this location and this visit.”

“Had a lovely lunch at the Library Pub. The food was delicious and very fresh. I had the pan fried haddock. It came with a side salad and the homemade raspberry dressing was really good.”

“I’ll admit that despite living here for years I am not usually a big fan of diners and I never gave this a shot, after trying them I am completely hooked! The fries are crispy and delicious, clams are juicy and sweet, perfect simple chicken burger, coleslaw is crunchy and fresh and I absolutely love their piping hot fresh soup that changes daily with that yummy little bun! So, so scrumptious!! My husband also reported that the inside is immaculate and the staff is amazing. Definitely my new number #1 pregnancy craving! 😊”
