You know I’ve eaten here several times. The food is inconsistent but, most of the time it’s worth it. I get what they’re going for but what really makes this a bad experience is the staff. The hostess/waitress ALWAYS seats us close to the bathroom. The bathrooms STINK. Between the smell of cleaner and p*** matter it makes for a bad experience. Upon commenting that I didn’t want to sit near the bathrooms the hostess/waitress just stared off into space - total shut down and didn’t speak. I know there were more open seats available. I’m not blind. If the owner reads this it’s the very skinny girl with glasses and curly black hair. Usually her nails are extremely long and sometimes she wears a razor blade necklace. Anyway point being maybe it would be wise to not have tables near the toilets. Maybe keep the cleaner elsewhere. It would be great to train staff to be more respectful of people and courteous. Sadly this is going to be a 1 star for me.

I have been to this place numerous times. Very disappointed in the service this time. Took forever for our orders. Orders came at different times. Was overcharged then not refunded the correct amount. The food was good but service was terrible. Was there for nearly 3 hours and only received 3 rolls for all you can eat due to the service.Vegetarian options: They have several

The service was not good and the server Lilly was horrible. As soon as we walked in I should have turned around, the servers were being rude to customers and getting orders wrong. I was charged wrong and my orders were messed up. Due to the confusion of the server, the manager tried to give me a 15% discount but the manager left, and the server gave me a "discount" which was not charging me for a sushi roll that I never received. I love sushi, but unfortunately the sushi quality was not good enough to make me forget the way the atmosphere was.

Do not try the fireman challenge! I’m legit shaking typing this review . The dude even warned me against it. I made it 3 bites in before I tapped out and I’m not sure I’m gonna live at this point….Sushi is great. Think Kim Lees but with actual good service.

Great service but since the new Owners took over the sushi is terrible. The rolls are made poorly and you no longer get what you pay for. They skimp on what goes into your sushi roll and are no longer worth what you pay.

Good sushi, sat 15 mins waiting to reorder and another 10 waiting for ice cream, small crowded chairs and tables

Horrible place for sushi. It's drowned in disgusting sauce. The sushi was absolutely disgusting. Everything tasted the same. Don't go here. They have horrible quality control and it seems like they've never put a roll together in their life.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! The customer service is always amazing and their sushi has never disappointed. The quality of their Sushi exceeds their price! Our family comes here at least once a month!

Jay is much more than a sushi chef, he's a sushi artist supreme. We let him decide what to serve us -- maybe requested a type of fish on occasion -- and he consistently hit it out of the park. I hesitated to write this because the place was not crowded. On the other hand, the quality and selection was so far above beyond what you can expect at any other sushi bar around, it's not going to stay unnoticed no matter what. So three cheers for Capital (shouldn't it be Capitol?) City Sushi -- Raw, raw, raw!

First time at this sushi place since new ownership. We came for lunch on a Friday. The service was top notch. The menu has so much variety. We really enjoyed the Honey Badger, CC Nachos, Honey Walnut Takeout, Supreme Scallops... For desert we had peaches and cream, banana split, and Night crawler.

We came in for lunch today and were promptly greeted by the hostess. We were seated quickly and began reviewing the menu. The menu is kind of hard to read. There is no separation between items so they all run together. I had to put my finger on the name of ones I liked then tell the server. The sushi was all prepared with care and attention to detail. Everything came beautifully plated. We tried the mussels as an appetizer. They were served in cute soup spoons so you could take them like a shot. The rolls, hand rolls, and nigiri were all delicious, and there were many signature options that were unique and had a tasty flair. My only complaint was they would not allow bar seating which is my favorite place to sit. I prefer to talk directly to the chef, and order one or two things at a time. Other than that everything was great. I will come back again and try more things. The environment is casual and comfortable.

My sons and I eat a lot of Sushi. We all love this place. The owner is super friendly, and it is great that kids pay their age under 12 for AYCE. That fish was high quality and they accommodated all of our special requests. The rolls are really creative and delicious.

Best sushi spot in town! Tasty and fresh, there are plenty of items to choose from. The all you can eat is a great value and the staff are all really friendly and on their game. Plan to come back time and time again!

Man what a disappointment, this place used to be great back when it was Kim Lee's. Now management has changed and I gotta say what a let down. Some of the fish was good, but the amount of rice given would almost dilute the taste of the fish you were putting on it. The cuts were of good size, but some of the fish like the tuna was just not cut right leaving long fast lines down the fish making in inedible. The salmon was cut right, the albacore was good. All in all it was a let down for the price. I usually go to Oishi next door, however they are closed on Wednesday and we decided to try something else. The server bringing me the fish didn't even know what she was bringing.
