We've eaten here a few times, and had a couple of excellent meals, Unfortunately we've had some really bad meals as well and our last dinner there will be just that - our last dinner there. The quality of the meal was unacceptable - dishes were wildly overcooked, and yet were served lukewarm. Timeliness of service was also an issue. Disappointing enough that we won't be back.
Great food, good service, better make a reservation! Highly recommend
You can almost pass it by on Carson St. but do go in! Cozy, private tables, excellent food and service! I had a perfectly prepared and tender calamari steak.!right Brain had an incredible seafood pasta, Siciliano something. Wowza! Be back with friends soon! Deserve the five!
The chocolate cake was amazing! Definitely try it!
The food and the service here is so fantastic. Nothing better than a friendly place to make you feel at home. Will definitely be back again when we are in that area.
Nice decor and nice people. Very inviting. However the food was disappointing. The Caprese salad was not the traditional one I was hoping for.My bad for not reading the description closely.Salad: pictured here is wilted and brown. It was awful. And the bread while not too bad, could have been a little fresher.it was compacted like it had been frozen and re-heated.Then I asked for meatballs and spaghetti to go but they could not as they were out of larger containers.Another customer very near to me was asking for various items that they were out of as well. Too many things not available. They offered desert and then backtracked as they were out of almost everything. And this was early like 5:30. I went home with blueberry pie that was not good either.Classy looking Italian style ambience and nice people but they were not prepared, out of too many things. And with this kind of restaurant I expect fresh food, not brown wilted lettuce. This was unacceptable. :(
Staff is clueless about what time they open and out of lasagna, is this a Italian restaurant or not. Ruined my birthday . Would not recommend.
It was the cutest restaurant. Really nice decor and nice people. The Caprese salad was not the traditional one I was hoping for. I guess it was the chefs spin on it according to the owners daughter. See the picture of the salad. Its wilting and turning brown. And the bread not too bad, but that could have been a little fresher also. it was compacted like it had been frozen and re-heated. Then I asked for meatballs and spaghetti to go but they could not as they were out of larger containers. Another customer very near to me was asking for various items that they were out of as well. Too many things not available. Cute, cozy ambience and nice people but they were not prepared, out of too many things. And with this kind of restaurant I expect fresh food, not brown wilted lettuce. That was unacceptable. :(
Excellent lasagna. I would order it again many times.
Years ago, I was told at a conference on cultural senstitivity that the LatinX population thrives on 4 F's: family, food, faith and fiesta. Our visit to Garibaldi's was all food and family. Lots of them. Fast Service. Good food. A nice place to be for with and among "Amigos", as the host said when we entered.
The only place in town that I know of that has breaded and fried artichoke hearts. So delicious.
Food was delish..staff friendly..dan was delightful..thank you for a very enjoyable evening
Great time, great food and excellent service. Quaint little spot with friendly staff and a romantic atmosphere! Totally recommend the chicken fettuccine alfredo!
The food was great, but the service was a little scattered.
I have always loved the food here but now the customer service is unacceptable. My parents came up from Southern California for a visit and wanted to go there. When I checked to see if they were open for business and get the number to call for a reservation, the site said that they ONLY take reservations for parties over 5. Since it was just the three of us, I obviously did not call. When we first walked in, it took a few minutes for someone to come over to us, ok not the the worst. A girl finally came over and asked us if we had a reservation and I told her no. She then told me that they only take reservations. I tried to explain to her that the site said that they only take reservations for parties 5 and up. She then told me that they have been trying to get that changed and I should have called. Really?? I try to not be bothersome and I'm not special so I'm wasn't going to call them and try to convince them that hey should take a reservation for us even though there are only 3 of us. My mom saw a few small tables at the front by the window and said that we were will to sit at one of those (they are really too small for 3 adults to eat at) and again we were told no. To be treated as though this was somehow my fault and I should have done more is unacceptable. I always make sure to spend my money somewhere that appreciates my business, and this isn't that place.
