I was seated and given water, the waiter said he would be right back to explain specials and take an order. After 16 minutes of no waiter (he was chit chatting with various other tables), I finally left. It wasn’t that busy. He didn’t seem to notice the abandoned table or my departure. I won’t be going back based on the service alone.

The place was quaint and casual no need to dress up. The food was pretty good but we had a few issues with our order. We ordered the calamari appetizer which the waitress repeated our order and then kept pushing to order our entrée which we wanted to wait until after the appetizer. She brought it out which wound up being the artichoke fritas and then made the excuse it was for another table but then we still had to wait 10 minutes for our calamari so she must have ordered wrong. For dinner I ordered the polla di vincci and it was supposed to on a bed of crispy polenta. When I received my dinner it was just the chicken with sauce and a small side of vegetables with a few pesto pasta pieces. I was not able to find the waitress nor did she come back to ask how our dinner is so I had to flag down the hostess who said I will find your waitress. When she finally came over and I asked about it she said oh I was waiting for it let me go check which she promptly returned to state that "oh they are out of the polenta". She didn't offer to ask if I wanted a side of pasta instead or did she say something upfront when I ordered the chicken that they were out of it nor did the kitchen tell her they were out of it again I would have then liked it served over pasta for the sauce not a big chunk of chicken and some sauce. I would have been nice if the kitchen communicated to the waitress so I could have either decided I still wanted the dish or chose a second option. Needless to say she only discounted my meal $4 for not having polenta. I am not looking for a free meal it would have been nice if they said something after I ordered it or prior to been served. This is why I am only giving it 3 stars overall. The food flavor was good just the experience not so much.

Took a bit for our server to arrive at our table after being seated. Once she arrived she never introduced herself, but ok. We ordered drinks and appetizers, she kept pushing to order our entrees, we finally had to let her know that we’ll order after we finish our appetizers. This is where things started to go wrong …. Appetizers, we ordered the calamari , she brought us artichoke fritters, after we reminded her that we ordered the calamari , she quickly corrected herself and said these belong to another table. We waited another 10 minutes for the correct appetizer which clearly she mis ordered. Ok mistakes happen. …. By this time our entrees arrived and my wife noticed that her chicken dish was missing from her polenta . We waited and waited for our server to come around but never did, the hostess assumed that we were ready to togo boxes we mentioned that the dish was not correct , she looked confused and went to get our server. We asked about the polenta , she clearly replied that our dishes took longer because she was waiting for the polenta on my wife’s dish ….. not only did she serve the dish without the polenta that she was waiting for , she was confused why it wasn’t on the plate. She had to go back to the kitchen to figure out what happened to the polenta. Come’s to find out they were out of the polenta. So why was she waiting specifically for the polenta if they were already out of it ? Why didn’t she offer a substitute? Just mentioned they were out of it and left. She never came around to ensure everything was to our liking, took more than usual time to get the check, she did mention she removed $4 from the bill to cover the missing polenta , it was not noted on the receipt , we never saw our server again ! The hostess ended up processing our payment. Sorry to say but the lies from our server undermine the food. I would love to give a better review because the food was great !

Just the best in town if you want good food this is the place To go. As soon as you walk through the door, you're hit with the amazing smells coming from the kitchen. The service is out of this world. With food, this good you know there cooking from the heart. If you're another restaurant reading this, this is how it's done. Go there and take notes.

I keep trying to give this place a chance because I've heard good things, but it's unfortunately a no-go for me. Ate here twice. First time the service was incredibly slow; we waited over an hour for our food, and then the order came out wrong, but we were so hungry we ate it anyways. Since it wasn't what we ordered and it was dishes we didn't particularly care for, we decided to try again rather than judge on dishes we know we don't like. Second time the food at least came out correctly (though it was still slow as snails). My husband loved his veal saltimbocca. I forget what I had.. because it was easily forgettable. So, one good meal, one blah. We tried a third time tonight, showed up right when they opened and were refused seating in a completely empty restaurant because we didn't have a reservation. So instead we had a lovely meal at Cucina Lupo (just a block away) and when walking back to our cars, did a quick peek in and the place still looked empty. I'm fine if a restaurant is reservation only, but they should state that on their webpage. Perhaps the crickets chirping in the background enjoyed a wonderful meal. So 3 stars down the middle for food - which considering that only one of our 4 meals was both what we ordered and good.. is being generous. But only 2 for service (one for each time they bothered to seat us) and 2 for the depressingly drab and dated atmosphere. There's just too many nice restaurants right next door to this place to continue to (attempt to) offer them my business.

I called at 6pm for a reservation at 7pm and got a voicemail that said to leave my contact info for a reservation and “if there are no openings, we will call you…if you don’t hear from us you’re all good to come in.”We didn’t get a call saying not to come so we headed on in. The server who greeted us took one look at our children, rolled his eyes and then informed us we didn’t have a reservation. I explained I left a voicemail and per their recording we were clearTo come in because we didn’t get a call back.Dude literally scoffed at me and said “oh we are wayyyyy to busy to check the phones. I have a 7 top and an 8 top. Only two of us are working.”He acted as if I should have inherently known they were busy? Not sure why he had such a gross attitude towards us and our children but it was very clear we weren’t welcome, so we left. We won’t return either.

Food was good, steak was pretty dry but not bad, but we had a male waiter with dark hair who was very stuck up and not very friendly. Other staff was absolutely great

We were told ( after we ordered) they only had one chef that showed up for work. 1 hour and 15 minutes our order was delivered. The owner gave us a free drink and when I said that was far from sufficient- he said he had plenty other customers to fill our seats. This establishment is nothing to write home about. I would not recommend. BTW- table next to us experienced same delay and never received garlic bread appetizer. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT!!

We had an excellent meal and the service was superb! Would highly recommend dining here, you would also be supporting small business owners in our area?

Way to expensive for sub standard food almost 75$ per person , we took a family member out for his birthday, we ordered rib eye steaks all were very chewy, my wife never finished her’s nor did the birthday boy. Oh and the Alfredo was the worst anyone had, the stuff you buy frozen from the grocery store had better flavor hands down. The odor from the floor drains sure did not help the atmosphere. The server was nice, kind and attentive. This was my first time eating here and my last no matter all the accolades I was told before, they only have the first impression to win my bissiness

We walked in at 8 pm on a Saturday and were refused service because they were “short staffed” and said they did not want to be there until midnight. The whole bar and half the tables were completely empty. They then proceeded to lock the doors and shut the curtains while we were standing outside. It was my first and last experience here and I am very disappointed with the service here. Will NEVER come back or recommend. Zero regard for customer serviceWent across the Street to Juan’s for a great meal!
