“We saw that Incline Village/Crystal Bay was doing their first restaurant week. We checked out the menus and decided to check out the Crystal Bay Steak House because we have never been here before and knew the chef was relatively new. Most of all, the menu they were offering looked fantastic. The crab legs, duck and crème brûlée were incredible. Highly recommend and we will be back for their regular menu!“

“Yelp does it again, helping us find another fabulous establishment. We were quite hungry after a drive and a little sightseeing and ready for a late lunch, preferably something healthy-ish. While there was an A-frame sign out front that said Bluefish, the establishment we walked into was more of a liquor store with small bar in front. We initially thought we were in the wrong place. Perhaps some of the reviews had mentioned this, but I hadn't dug deep. Luckily, after walking out of the store, we walked back in towards the back and located Bluefish. While there are some Poké combos you can choose from, you can also customize your own bowl. The four of us each decided to customize and we were not disappointed! At an hour before closing they were out of white rice, but we were all OK with eating brown rice (plus adds to health factor). You can select your protein, rice and/or salad, sauce(s) and unlimited toppings. I got spicy tuna, salmon, Yuzu something rather (Mayo) and garlic ponzu sauces and many yummy toppings. The fish was quite fresh tasting, the sauces on point (yuzu Mayo was great!) and the rice cooked just right. I really like that you can select an unlimited amount toppings when you customize your bowl, even avocado! The service was also good, especially the young lady working the front. She helped me with my canned margarita order, sharing a little story about the drink's creator, and was sweet enough to put my drink in a glass with ice. The liquor store also has quite a nice selection of wine, liquor, beer and other canned / bottled adult beverages (sorry, no pictures of their selection). And the section adjacent to Bluefish has a small selection of Asian market goods. My fam gave me props for finding another good place to eat at. 4.5 stars. Thanks Yelp for not letting us down!“

“This is an authentic, local Mexican restaurant in Incline Village for about 15 years. The service is friendly, speedy and professional. The food is authentic and tasty! The ambiance is light and cheery with a lot of colorful decorations. The chips are crisp and fresh. The salsa is fresh with a zingThe el presidente taco (beef or chicken) is plentiful with salad, beans and Spanish rice. It is plenty for lunch or dinner.“

“Lake Tahoe, NV - great experience if you book to dine at the Glass house! But be careful the house is small and the table is small so I don't suggest that if you have young children. It's a fun experience without any extra charge if you can get a reservation. It was 4 adults and 2 kids for us so we got to order a bunch of dishes to sample their menu. I highly recommend their risotto and salmon, scallops and clam chowder. The lamb was flavorful too if that's your taste. Otherwise, the filet mignon was tender and juicy which would make a good meat entree choice. Their Rockefeller oysters were decent but not the best I've had (gotta go to New Orleans for that) Garlic pasta was not available to order which was a disappointment. There is a reservation penalty with cancellation but we were able to get a table for dinner at 7:30pm same day so we didn't have to worry about that. Great restaurant to go to after a day of skiing and snowboarding.“

“We hadn't dined at the Old Range in years, but we decided to celebrate a special birthday here this past weekend - and we really enjoyed it. It was quiet the night we went, and the staff gave us a nice table. Great lake views. The restaurant has been updated but it hasn't lost charm - and actually the rear room is just as old timey as we recall. The food was very good and is actually less expensive than it seems from the menu, because the meals are HUGE and many people will want to share them. My son, an 18 year old athlete, could only eat about half his gnocchi. My husband and I shared a Cowboy prime rib and wished we'd ordered the Cowgirl - we had to bring about half home! The sides are all designed to be shared and we couldn't finish those either. We brought a bottle of wine that we like and didn't mind the $30 corkage fee. It was a fun, relaxing evening and we will be back.“

“Came here on a Friday night and secured a reservation through Yelp a few hours in advance. We were seated next to the window, which offered a beautiful view of Lake Tahoe. We started with the fried ahi poke roll, which was more like a spring roll. I thought the fish would be raw, as poke usually is, but I can understand that since the roll is fried...it would make more sense for it to be cooked. We then had the crab cakes, which were very flavorful. The accompanying sauce complemented the protein very well. For the main, we shared the cioppino, which was a generous portion. We thought the broth was on the salty side, but the seafood was cooked perfectly tender. Service was friendly and on point. Highly enjoyed the upscale resort ambiance.“
