“Tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday. I was impressed with the atmosphere. Really clean and pretty inside. They had a live singer as well. Everything we got to eat was delicious and portions sizes were excellent! I got the risotto with scallops and my husband got the short rib sandwich. We couldn’t believe how big the sandwich was and had to bring half of it home. I was also impressed with the kids food. Generally the kids food is an afterthought but the quality of the burger and pizza were on par with an adult entree. Service was great! We will be back!

Kid-friendliness: Separate kids menu, good noise level to not have to keep kiddos too quiet, plastic kids cups is always nice, our server asked if we would like the kids food out when it’s ready or if we wanted everything to come out together. Little things that mean a lot for parents.“

“Strip mall, 6 tables, counter for bakery carry out. It's cold today so when door is held open all the heat brushes put. The chef came out to check on our food and to say hello to frequent customers. We ordered crepes. They were a crispy dark brown variety I am not familiar with. Pretty and tasty. We plan to go back another day for dessert

“North Italia offers some interesting spins on classic dishes. Last night we enjoyed the spicy rigatoni vodka which wasn't as creamy as a traditional vodka sauce, but had a nice kick to it. The addition of mushrooms, sausage and pancetta gave it extra heartiness. The butternut squash polenta was a pleasant surprise. We could have just made a meal out of a bunch of small plates such as the burrata and grilled bread, the seasonal squash and creamy polenta which made a great combination and the cacio e pepe arancini with creamy pesto sauce was also delicious. The chocolate budino took forever to come out but it was worth the wait. The service was friendly and the vibe was energetic. North Italia is a welcome addition to GVR.“

“My wife is the manager of the Port of Subs about 50 yards from the front door. For 4 years we've kept saying, Giuseppe's must be good. Parking lot is always full 24/7. We've got to go in one day. Well, last night was our first time there and I'm here to tell you that this place is AMAZING! Everything from the decor to the way the tables are presented, the staff and of course the food! The gravy(red sauce) is hands down the best! The prices are quite reasonable for the portions you get. They are huge! The appetizer was amazing as well. My wife had the chicken Parm and I had the rigatoni Italiano. Also the California flat bread. This place is by far the best Italian in the city! Will be coming back again very soon.“

“My wife and I stopped for lunch, while visiting from out of town. Sal's was recommended to us by my buddy who is a local. We were greeted by Jackie and Jo, who were so easy to talk to and friendly. The food was better than expected. My wife got the Sal's meatball parm combo and I ordered the Italian combo. With the great service, phenomenal tasting food and friendly atmosphere, we will stop again the next time, we're in town.“

“This is my favorite pizza place. That said, I got a large pepperoni, nothing more, and it was $27. That’s absolute robbery. Then of course they ask for a tip on top of it. I love this place but at these prices I can’t justify coming here more than once every few months at most. $27 for a single pizza is ridiculous. I can’t imagine coming here with a family; you aren’t leaving under a hundred dollars if you have kids.“

“This was probably the best food I had while at the resort. The wait wasn’t long and the food came out in a timely manner. Service was also really good.

We ate here for breakfast and it was great. I ended up getting an egg white omelette and it was made perfectly with all my veggies inside. Maybe one of the best I’ve had in a while. The rye bread was thick cut which was nice, normally it’s not like that. The potato’s were cooked well done as well and seasoned nicely.“
