Red Ribbon is a Filipino bakery chain and I can confirm that it is consistently good no matter where you are! This particular one like many others is located inside a seafood city which is an Asian grocery store. When you walk in you are surrounded by baked treats carefully packaged and displayed on open shelves. I asked the older lady about their ube coffe and other special drinks. She said it won’t be ready til afternoon. Funny, cause apparently I was able to order from the younger lady working. So I was able to try the ube coffee and man it was delicious!I’m under the impression the older lady didn’t want to make the special drinks because maybe it’s too much work or she didn’t know how? But she didn’t have to lie and tell me they won’t have it available til afternoon?
