The website shows that it's open. When we arrived there there was a note on the door saying they were closed for that day. Someone from another business nearby said that note has been on that door for 2 weeks.

One of my favorite places to eat especially when you want authentic Japanese food. You must make reservations but once you're there you will be taken care of. The flavor of the Shabu Shabu is the best in Las Vegas.

We really wanted to like this place as we just moved into the area and love Shabu cooking. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be returning. The first time we entered around 6:00 pm, we didn't have reservations, no one was dining, but were turned down. No problem. We'll come back another time. A month later, same situation, but she was able to accommodate. The hostess/waitress was not friendly or hospitable. Though the quality of food was very good, part of our dining experience is to feel good about being in the space with good service. We didn't enjoy it and will not be returning.

No reservation? No service. Even when the restaurant has all but 6 people in it Joke of an establishment.

We live nearby and have always seen the bright sign that says Shabu Shabu, so we thought we'd give it a try.First the good things...the food is really fresh, and is of very high quality. When the food came out, you could tell how fresh the vegetables, meat and seafood is. At first glance, you might think that the portions should be larger, but with the all you can eat vegetables, salad and rice, the meal was more than sufficient. Service was also good as the waitress came around and always checked in with us.Now for the things to think about...when you walk in, the waitress asks if you have a reservation. There's not a ton of seating...maybe enough for 20 to 24 ppl. There's reserved signs on all the tables but while we were there, a lot of the tables were unused. Huh? Not sure why they turn away walk ins as they could've easily accommodate they few ppl that walked in. This was the strangest part of their restaurant. Also, if you are looking to fill up on the protein dishes, you might be disappointed unless you order additional plates. An AYCE elsewhere may suit you better if you want more protein.Would I come back? Probably not. Food was good but there were strange things about the restaurant that would make me choose somewhere else.

So I've been here twice now and it's really nice little place. The server is so friendly, happy and high energy. She literally makes my day better she is so excited about everything. The quality of the food is very high, and I've been told this is more authentic than many places in town. Relevant points:1. The meat - quality wise the meat is very tender and had a lot of flavor. Unfortunately for me, it is priced accordingly, which translates to an expensive meal if your a big eater. The meat portions are fairly small (I think one order is 3oz). So I end up ordering quite a bit of meat to get full. 2. Veggies - Basic selection of veggies comes with the meal and you get extra servings for free. From what you recall it was cabbage, carrot, tofu, tofu noodles, bamboo shoots(?). 3. Sauces - The meal comes with 3 types of sauce. I'll be honest that I have no idea what the names of the sauces are. I can tell you that one was spicy, one was lemony, and the last one was a peanut sauce. All three were amazing. 4. Broth - The shabu broth was plain water and a piece of sea weed. I guess this is a traditional broth? Not quite what I am used to, but it did allow the flavors of the food to be enjoyed without overly changing the flavors. 5. Service - 10 Star service here. I commented on service earlier. 6. Value - IMO it's pretty spendy for fairly small portions of meat. The quality is high, but prices seem a bit over the top. Overall I'm a fan, I'll be more inclined to head to my favorite AYCE place most of the time. But I will definitely be back here again.

Coming back after a month spent in Japan, this place satisfies a very specific craving. This is not like other Asian hotpot. This is authentic, simple, Japanese shabu shabu with very distinctly high quality ingredients. The best thing about Japanese shabu shabu is being able to taste the quality of each ingredient and the subtle, pronounced quality of the dipping sauces. The broth is very clean, even the sukiyaki, so you leave without feeling extremely bloated/full because they don't make it with the extreme amounts of fat/oil that other types of Asian hotpot places do. I love being able to savor each bite and tasting how premium the quality of meat is. I recommend taking this meal slowly, and appreciating the dedicated selection they have. It's worth every penny honestly. After getting a big portion of Wagyu, beef, shrimp, scallops and two orders of wine, it comes to about $171 for two before tip. Without the Wagyu and wine it's probably around $80. Don't skip the ice cream- something about it is so delectable every time. It's very light and comes for free with the meal with a side of peach and sauce topping.I discourage reading reviews of people who expect a different experience and decide to come here. If you're looking for AYCE, sauce station, muddled broths, multiple protein selection kind of hotpot, please don't come here and leave a bad review. That's not what this place is. It's like going to a Vietnamese restaurant and rating that it doesn't have sushi. This place gets very busy at odd times, it's worth it to call ahead 30 mins - 1 hour to ask if there are reservations available. This place is about a 35 minute drive for me now, but I'm never disappointed. I've been here about 15 times since I discovered it 3 years ago. I also can't comment on other reviews mentioning the waitress/owner being rude. She has been extremely kind and attentive every visit, but perhaps I got lucky.

My husband and I have been coming to this place for years now and we still love it! This is always our go-to date night because it is close and the ambiance is very casual yet quaint. The waitress is always so sweet and she always remembers us and what we usually order. My husband and I always order the beef shabu, beer, wine, and a bottle of sake to share. Our meal comes with a salad with a yummy citrus and ginger dressing. Then the veggies and noodles come out to cook first. I'm obsessed with the sauces that accompany the meal too! There is ponzu, peanut, and spicy sauces along with a bowl of rice. The beef always cooks so fast and is very easy to cook in the boiling water. After you enjoy your meal, you get to pick from vanilla ice cream with different sauces. I always have great conversation with my hubby with an amazing meal. We love this place!
