“This small restaurant is tucked in a corner of building along with other restaurants. There were only few tables to enjoy the meal. We ordered right away at the cashier and the food came out fairly quick and still piping hot!

- 5 wings with K-sauce: the wing pieces were big! The coating was very crispy and the meat was flavorful and tender. The K-sauce was good and slightly spicy.
- 7 tenders with soy garlic sauce: the tender pieces were huge! The coating was crispy and the meat was tender. The soy garlic sauce was good but I wish that it was more evenly distributed as most of it was at the bottom of the box.
- large crinkle cut fries with honey butter: the fries were good and crispy. The honey butter powder was sweet and buttery.”

“Really delicious! Fun choices & good variety. Holly V took excellent care of us & was so kind! We sampled several items but our favorites were the pepper crostini, the halibut, & the gumbo. Oh! The ice cream sandwiches were so good & just the right size for a sweet end to our meal. Definitely would love to come back!”

“I love pizza! Gathered here with a work group and had a very nice time. Atmosphere was relaxed. Staff was so friendly and helpful. FOOD - first the salad bar was delicious/fresh and so yummy! “Stopped in after a day of snowshoeing up on Chickadee Ridge and loved it! Mike and staff were attentive and the wine list is outstanding! We were delighted by a 2021 Hillick & Hobbs Dry Riesling from Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes. So much wine to explore here.”

“We've been coming to this bistro for many years, typically once or twice a year, and it's always a pleasure to return—especially during the summer. The outdoor patio is one of its biggest draws, and with the area's reliably pleasant weather, it's usually a wonderful place to dine. The food has been consistently good to very good over the years.

On this visit, we ordered the gnocchi with morels (excellent), escargots (very good), the New Zealand rack of lamb (very good and a generous portion), the salmon special (good), and La Grande Dessert (good).

The wine list is extensive and includes many interesting selections. Corkage is $40, and proper wine glassware was provided, which is always appreciated.

Service was friendly and efficient throughout the meal.

Overall, the restaurant continues to offer very good value, although the $40 corkage fee is on the high side.

One small annoyance was the suggested gratuities on the check. The lowest suggested tip was 23%—calculated on the post-tax total—with the other options being 25% and 30%. Those recommendations felt rather ambitious. Fortunately, there was also an option to leave a custom tip, which is what we chose. The service was good and certainly deserved recognition, but we prefer to determine the gratuity ourselves rather than be steered toward unusually high preset percentages.

Overall, this remains one of our favorite neighborhood bistros, and we'll continue to return.”

“As a European, I just had to have melted cheese after skiing, and I am very happy I found La fondue! The dishes are authentic and very tasty. We were definitely full after the Alpine fondue and a shared chocolate fondue. A wonderful place for a hearty meal!”

“We ordered two cauliflower crust pizzas and a salad for pick up. The cauliflower crust was not an option on the online menu so submitted the order verbally via phone. I figured the cauliflower crust would cost more but I almost fell over when picked up the pizza and told it was $71! Really not sure why I didn't just walk out and tell them to stick the pizza. At this crazy price, I expected an exceptional pizza however, it was anything but. First of all, it was NOT cauliflower pizza crust! Second, it was cold and the crust was hard, with very little sauce. Extremely disappointing.... pass on this overpriced garbage!”
