“Our welcome party at Glasses Wine Bar was a standout event leading up to our wedding day. This charming local wine bar provided the perfect backdrop for our guests to mingle and celebrate. We did a buyout of the wine bar for 2 1/2 hours and the space accommodated our group of approximately 50 people comfortably, offering a mix of indoor and outdoor settings that were particularly enjoyable thanks to the perfect September weather.Kathleen and Rob were great to work with from the planning stages to the execution of our event. They went above and beyond by handling the logistics of our food platters, setting them up beautifully, and also taking care of our welcome bag display. Their expertise and recommendations helped us choose wines that were a hit with our guests, and their bottle discount made the event very reasonably priced, adding great value without compromising on the quality or experience. For anyone considering a venue for a wedding-related event or simply a place to enjoy great wine and atmosphere, Glasses Wine Bar is without a doubt a wonderful choice. Their ability to create a personalized and enjoyable experience is a testament to their dedication and passion for what they do. We can't wait to return when we're in Incline again!“
“Our first visit to Big Water Grille The food was outstanding. Wife is a salmon connosseur. She loved it. Best is a long time, tasty, flaky, moist with nice crispy skin. My pork chop was exceptional. Top end meat and a sizeable cut. . it was cooked perfectly. Knife glided through beautiful color. Both of our veggies etc. were spot on. The baked brie was very tasty. Chose a tasty pinot noir from the Willamette Valley. Plenty of other wines as well. Jordan, provided timely, informational, appropriate, delightful attentiveness. Ambiance open, clean and well set up. Not a restaurant that takes your money and leaves you wanting. We will gladly go back.“
“Great, cozy atmosphere for coffee drinks and nice mix of alcoholic drinks. Good parking. Limited food menu (snacks or meal), but what they have is good. Super attentive, friendly staff. Hosts music and trivia events. Great place to hang with friends.“
“I come up to north Lake Tahoe a few times a year. Lanzas makes the best minestrone soup I've ever had. I love it here. The neighborhood charm. The old school style classic Italian American food. I got Easy kind service, from a family owned small business.“
“Service was great! The two servers and solo host were very busy taking care of the entire place by themselves. It’s not easy to bus and serve. Not sure why temps were taken on the eggs as none of them came out consistent. IMO no need to even stress taking temps because it’s not the Four Seasons.Poached eggs are the easiest when understood how to execute in high volume. Boil with water and vinegar mixture and separately hold them aside in a warm water bath. A sous vide can keep a regulated low temp. Every poached egg will be perfect. Chef was probably having a hard day, might have been solo as well (bless that persons soul). as everything on the plate seemed cold in different sections. Hot sausage, cold eggs, crispy hot (very delicious) potatoes, cold soggy eggs benni.Great spot. Just needs to tighten up some aspects.“
