“This was my 2nd time at mizumi and again it did not disappoint. The otoro nigiri was expensive but worth it. I had several rolls after that and all were exceptional, one of them had gold flakes on it. I’ve never been to japan, but mizumi makes me feel like I’m at a very authentic high end sushi restaurant in japan. This is not your typical american style sushi restaurant. Almost all of them add all kinds of fillers to the specialty rolls to make them taste great, but don’t really resemble quality sushi. Mizumi is more pure, and focuses more on superior quality fish. Well worth the higher prices. If you are a purist, and you want and are willing to pay for top quality sushi, make sure you go to mizumi while visiting vegas. Also the service was great, the napkins were a high thread count, atmosphere is very nice, and the attention to detail is near flawless. This will be a regular stop when i visit vegas“

“Experienced Ton Ton Tonkatsu for the first time today during my visit to Las Vegas from Dallas, Texas. Everything was awesome! The little things make all the difference…. The gen mai cha was hot and tasted very fresh. The steamed rice and tsukemono (pickles) were crunchy and very tasty. The salad dressing was incredible too. Like I said, the little things are important. Then we had the kuro buta tonkatsu and it was amazing. Service was prompt and attentive. A new favorite for me. Will definitely go back on next visit to Las Vegas.“

“Stopped by here for lunch during my Vegas stay. Despite being a rather old building in a run down area, it was a very pleasant experience throughout. It was quiet throughout the restaurant and was filled with classic Japanese decor, including some tatami rooms whenever available. I had the nigiri/roll lunch combo with some NA beer and warabimochi. The sushi tasted fresh and the mochi was a nice way to finish the meal. Koko was a very nice server who was ready to help whenever needed! All in all, I had a nice and relaxing time here, and I would definitely visit again when I have the chance 👍“

Nothing fancy here, but a pleasant experience, especially because the noise level was low (often unusual for Vegas!!). A good value for the dollar!! Honestly, we never noticed this place before, but we'll be back.“

The grill table was also visible from the counter and was wonderfully well made.

“Just left dinner and writing down the review before I forget anything. In order, the food was fantastic. The ingredients they use are so fresh and high quality. My favorites were the wagyu gyoza and the snow crab california roll.

Service was outstanding. Our servers Louis and Joel were attentive, knowledgable, and friendly. Our water glasses were never empty, nor were our sake cups. Louis gave us a great lesson in sake. He also was careful to describe specific ingredients to ensure we didn't get anything we didn't want.

Atmosphere -- super cool! We're a sucker for black, gold and red, so they were at a huge advantage. Additionally, you're so close to the resort hallway, but you would never know.

“I try to visit here every time I go to Vegas for more than a weekend. Sushi quality and service is on par with Michelin star sushi places. Prices are extremely reasonable. They have 5 different types of toro and each order is two pieces. Worth the trek off strip.“

“I entered irritated cause they opened the door 2 minutes after 9am— you could say I was hangry— but totally forgot about it when I got my breakfast plates haha. I loved the simple spam musubi and Mac and of course loved the Portuguese sausage platters.

The staff don’t seem to have the aloha spirit.. but maybe cause it’s 9am in the morning and didn’t have their coffee yet.. or cause they moved from Hawaii long time. I noticed a lot who’s lived here adapt the stand off ish attitude which is understandable to survive here. The customers who’s visiting from Hawaii definitely have more of the aloha spirit and make up the vibe of this place.“
