Yama Sushi on Spring Mountain is not just a sushi restaurant - it’s a core memory. “Last night's dinner was out of this world and one of the best meals I've had in a long time. My man and I ordered two delicious sushi rolls that were absolutely to die for! I wish I could remember their names, lol, but the pictures might help. The fish was incredibly fresh and had such an elevated flavor, kudos to the sushi chef! That miso soup... Best I've ever had!

We also ordered the uni pasta, which was rich, creamy, and savory. I definitely recommend trying that, along with the chicken dish we had, it was sooo good. Honestly, every item we ordered was outstanding. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Our server, John, was such a delight and truly made the experience even more memorable. His knowledge of the menu and attentive service really stood out. He checked on us throughout the evening without being intrusive, which is something I always appreciate in a fine dining experience. Highly recommend!“

“Experienced Ton Ton Tonkatsu for the first time today during my visit to Las Vegas from Dallas, Texas. Everything was awesome! The little things make all the difference…. The gen mai cha was hot and tasted very fresh. The steamed rice and tsukemono (pickles) were crunchy and very tasty. The salad dressing was incredible too. Like I said, the little things are important. Then we had the kuro buta tonkatsu and it was amazing. Service was prompt and attentive. A new favorite for me. Will definitely go back on next visit to Las Vegas.“

“We were in the mood for something new and stumbled upon this hidden gem tucked in the corner of a Summerlin shopping center. From the moment we walked in, Tomoya Japanese Cuisine felt welcoming and authentic.

The food was outstanding; truly some of the most genuine Japanese flavors we've had outside of Japan. Everything tasted fresh, perfectly seasoned, and made with care, from the sushi to the hot dishes we tried. It didn't feel Americanized; it just felt right.

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Service was quick yet relaxed, and they clearly take pride in what they do.
Tomoya deserves way more buzz and foot traffic; it's now our definite go-to spot for Japanese food in Las Vegas. Highly recommend if you're craving real-deal Japanese cuisine without the Strip crowds or prices. We'll be back often!“

“A little out of the way (off the strip a couple of miles) but good authentic Japanese Sushi restaurant.

Staff was helpful and fun.

Atmosphere was upbeat and convivial. I sat at the Sushi Bar as my other is not a raw fish person,

I am allergic to shrimp so I let them know that up from t as they have many wraps that incorporate shrimp.

I had not been to a good sushi restaurant for maybe 10 years, and had trouble deciding what to get so I ordered one of the 3 Chef Special arrangements. It was excellent.

While this place was not an upscale polished restaurant like you would find on the Strip, it was more like a side street Japanese restaurant you would find in Tokyo. Japanese is spoken there.

“Got breast with skin, thigh, gizzard, heart, tail and a caesar salad. Tried to order chicken meatball and chicken oyster but they were out.

Everything was amazing and the salad had fresh grilled chicken and chicken skin instead of croutons which I thought was great.

“In my opinion, this is hands down one of the best Japanese restaurants in Vegas. Nice relaxing atmosphere, EXCELLENT service and PHENOMENAL food! Very generously portioned and reasonably priced. No sushi, but they have a poke or smoked salmon salad and enough other seafood dishes plus everything else you would get in Japan. We are Japanese and this is our favorite place for a yummy variety of SUPERB, AUTHENTIC Japanese food. You can go to Japan and eat top notch food or just go to Yoshiya for the same! They also have a Henderson location and free coffee in the afternoon. Soooooo Gooood!!!“

“The food was good but it was alarmingly dirty. I'm not normally thrown off by that kind of stuff, but the ground was gross and stained. The bathrooms were REALLY dirty as well. We actually questioned if we should eat there because of how dirty it was. Both my partner and I ended up getting sick the next day but it probably wasn't the food.. Right?“
