This sushi is as fresh as you can get in this part of the country. Service is attentive, unobtrusive, and topped with helpful suggestions. Price points are fair.
They have a fantastic bar and excellent selection of wine, beer, saki, and cocktails.
We needed a moment to get through the menu- they present a broad selection that's worth spending some time on.

Expansive bar service virtually guarantees you'll get what you want. That said, even though you probably have a favorite, they offer signature cocktails that you should consider.

You will be greeted by owner, Joon. In that instant, you'll know you've picked the right place. They are ideal for couples and can easily handle large parties.
They use the team approach led by our server, David. For this meal, cadence mattered and he ran the timing with perfection. Thank you David! And thanks extended to everyone else who took such good care of us.

I'll recklessly throw out that like most tourists, we tend to stick to the strip. This trip is different by choice. Most of our meals are off and away from the strip. This choice was our best so far. An added bonus, Joon checked on us and shared some of the other local things we could try. A 5-minute walk about a block is Shanghai Square. Small boutiques and other shops are scattered between other eateries. What a great way for us to enjoy a low stress after dinner! There is a very unique shop with cool items that you'll have to see for yourself.

“Experienced Ton Ton Tonkatsu for the first time today during my visit to Las Vegas from Dallas, Texas. Everything was awesome! The little things make all the difference…. The gen mai cha was hot and tasted very fresh. The steamed rice and tsukemono (pickles) were crunchy and very tasty. The salad dressing was incredible too. Like I said, the little things are important. Then we had the kuro buta tonkatsu and it was amazing. Service was prompt and attentive. A new favorite for me. Will definitely go back on next visit to Las Vegas.“

“This place has been bookmarked for a few months now, and I finally checked it out today.

The interior was beautiful and the vibe was great. Everyone was really nice, and the service was excellent.

I ordered chicken hearts, A5 wagyu beef, and pork belly skewers. We also got the beef bowl, fried calamari, and spicy tuna roll.

The spicy tuna roll was on the smaller side and was just okay. The calamari and beef bowl were amazing. I finished the beef bowl fast.

The pork belly and wagyu skewers were absolutely outstanding! Tender and perfectly seasoned. They were so good that I went ahead and ordered more. They totally exceeded my expectations.

This place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Just moved to this side of town so we were trying out all different restaurants. Small comfortable place to eat for locals, I think. Not too fancy or anything but clean and all waitresses were very friendly and nice. Interesting that I’ve noticed from this place, besides the one waitress who took our order from the other two waitresses were keep checking on our table to make sure we are taken care of. Food was very yummy too. Definitely, will go back again.“

“We were in the mood for something new and stumbled upon this hidden gem tucked in the corner of a Summerlin shopping center. From the moment we walked in, Tomoya Japanese Cuisine felt welcoming and authentic.

The food was outstanding; truly some of the most genuine Japanese flavors we've had outside of Japan. Everything tasted fresh, perfectly seasoned, and made with care, from the sushi to the hot dishes we tried. It didn't feel Americanized; it just felt right.

“The price of the food is comparable to the quality, which was excellent. They are slightly expensive, but it is worth it. The atmosphere is quiet and cozy. The service is where they shine the most. Google said that they close at 2am. We got there at 11:30 and found out they shut down at midnight. They still served us with a smile and enthusiasm.“

“I read somewhere that the name of the restaurant translates to “chicken bar” which is exactly what Toridokoro Raku is. They specialize in practically every part of the chicken. And it is all delicious. They grill everything on a Robata grill using imported Japanese binchotan charcoals. It makes all the difference. As do all the other details like the Japanese condiments and sauces to the type of chicken and high quality meats they use. The unused bits of binchotan charcoals as chopstick holders was also a nice touch. It all adds up to a very authentic and satisfying Japanese grilling experience. From the service, to the meats I had a great experience start to finish. Will happily come back again and again.“

I had the beef bowl and my husband had the chicken curry 🍛 .

My husband said this is the best curry he's ever had.

I loved the beef bowl, the meat was so tender and delicious.

We ordered egg rolls and takoyaki as well. The egg rolls were so delicious and fresh! The sauce that accompanied the rolls was so delicious.

The server/hosts were so kind and attentive. We did not feel rushed while eating and we received our food on time.
