“What an incredible experience. I simply do not understand the recent negative reviews. My wife and I were walki-ins on Saturday night and were told that the restaurant was completely committed for the evening but the sushi bar had availability. We arrived at 9pm and were seated within ten minutes.

Our visit was absolutely flawless. The service was 10 star, the sushi was some of the best I’ve had outside of Japan and the cocktails were perfect. When we are back in Vegas, we will absolutely be back but this time with a reservation to sit outside ( IYKYK).

The management team was even kind enough to provide a “booster seat” for my wife’s handbag. Absolutely next level!! I would highly recommend Mizumi to anyone looking for an incredible experience, not just an amazing meal.

“I had a course menu with my colleagues. All dishes were really good, I wish they have some other locations but it’s only here. Definitely I will be back if I get next opportunity to visit Las Vegas.“

“This was a fun place to celebrate our anniversary. The food was phenomenal, the drinks fun and flavorful and the service was sweet and informative.

Here are my takeaways:

The seasonal menu has some amazing gems and worth a try. We were here on October 11th 2026 and tried the Saiko Salmon and it was amazing.

The server gave me the “popular” choices, but then I asked her what she would order and she recommended a bunch of items. Of those, we tried the mushroom medley, A-5 truffle Wagyu gyoza, crispy rice (she recommended salmon and we picked tuna), Kama toro and king salmon from the nigiri menu and the summertime and green dragon from the roll menu. We also tried the hirame, unagi, and oyster foie.

All the food was well balanced and thought out. Every bite was fresh and left you wanting more.

We also got a few cocktails. Well, all but one of the cocktails as there are only four on the menu. I would have liked to see a larger selection of drinks being a cocktail person. I was thinking about sake as well, but the only option is to purchase by the bottle.

My server, Natalie, was great and gave good recommendations. I feel like she was overloaded a bit though as she was very busy with multiple tables and my drink went empty twice before being refilled. Not to her discredit, as she was trying to provide good service to all the guests.

The only other thing I want to mention is the music. I know it is in the Vegas style to play dance music at restaurants, but fast music like that creates a rushed, anxious feeling making the experience a bit cheapened like they are trying to turn tables and not leave a lasting impression and desire to return. We had great food, but the anxiety that the music brought made me feel like I would probably choose another place instead when picking a place to go out next time.“

“I’ve been to every Yama location in town, but this one is the MVP. It’s the biggest, it’s open late, and the service is always efficient. Yama Sushi on Spring Mountain is not just a sushi restaurant - it’s a core memory. This was my first sushi spot when I moved to Vegas over 10 years ago, and since then, it’s been the site of raucous birthday parties, flirtatious dinner dates, and probably 50 pounds of salmon nigiri personally devoured. And if you’re planning a birthday dinner, this place is a great option because they have big tables and when everyone gets the same all you can eat deal, sharing rolls and splitting the bill is super easy.“

“Experienced Ton Ton Tonkatsu for the first time today during my visit to Las Vegas from Dallas, Texas. Everything was awesome! The little things make all the difference…. The gen mai cha was hot and tasted very fresh. The steamed rice and tsukemono (pickles) were crunchy and very tasty. The salad dressing was incredible too. Like I said, the little things are important. Then we had the kuro buta tonkatsu and it was amazing. Service was prompt and attentive. A new favorite for me. Will definitely go back on next visit to Las Vegas.“

“We experience the best Japanese cuisine at Soho last week. My family could not get enough of the Tuna, Salmon, Steak, brussel sprouts and even desserts. Just look for Justin, he was amazing, he tool very good care of us.“

The handroll sets are good if you like a variety of items on one plate. Just remember that if it has spicy in the name or description expect it to be spicy. “Taru is a gem. Service was the quiet standout: if you're lucky enough to land in John's section, you're in exceptionally capable hands, attentive, knowledgeable, and effortlessly gracious. The sushi was impeccably fresh with clean, confident flavors. The truffle trio took top honors tonight, earthy and indulgent without excess, and it paired beautifully with the uni dish, where the briny, custardy sweetness met the truffle's woodsy depth. Taru remains my favorite stop whenever I'm in Vegas. Highly recommended.“

“Was looking not only for an experience but specifically Wagyu A5 beef, and they did not disappoint. We had the diamond experience, all Wagyu with seafood and vegetables that you cooked in a hot pot. The bone marrow was interesting and something I'd never had before.
It was all you could eat and everything was fantastic.
Because the protein was thinly sliced it cooked very quickly in the liquid. One side was their house broth and the other was a sweet soy broth which was amazing as was both sauces they provided.
I would recommend this place for the experience alone but the food was great too.“

“What a hidden gem! We are on the area visiting and saw this place and the good reviews. Great service, Brian was super cheerful and attentive. Food was amazing. We got most of what we ate off the happy hour menu, which is robust. Recommend reservations cause we made them for 5p when they open and it was pretty full, only one table not occupied.“

“If you’re looking for an Izakaya from the more Eastern part of Las Vegas, this is your best bet. This place has potential as they have a great variety of Japanese food and drinks available.

This place has yakitori, sushi, ramen, rice bowls, sake, high balls and everything you can imagine that you’d want from an Izakaya without having to go to China town. The food is pretty standard and nothing short of it.

The ambiance of the place is pretty simple as they have decor on the wall and in the restaurant to create a clean feeling for an Izakaya without being so loud with the decor.

Although the servers were really nice and helpful, the one thing that does dock this place down for me is the service was really slow. We were probably the only people there at first in the beginning before more people started showing up. We were able to get a few of our dishes, but then they seemed to have prioritized the bigger groups orders over ours.

It got to the point where we were tired of waiting and they knew it. It was a bit of a wait for us to even check out with whatever food we got, but they were still nice and apologized about it.

This place definitely has potential, they just have to be able to dish out all the food they have to offer.“

“Celebrated my sons 20th birthday here and Zuma didn’t disappoint. Located on the 3rd floor of Boulevard tower at Cosmopolitan Hotel. We had the chefs tasting menu, every dish was amazing, well presented and filling, probably one course too many. Service was great and a lively atmosphere, the place was full through the night to closing time. It is pricey, but highly recommend going if you like sushi and a fancy night out.“

“I really enjoyed this place! I started off with one of their specials which was a Chicken Skin Gyoza and I really hope it was popular enough to keep on the menu as I think everyone should taste it! I also ordered the Kaisen Chirashi Don which was perfect. The fish was fresh and satisfied my cravings! Plus it was almost too pretty to eat! The server was a sweetheart and really explained the menu items well to me. She was also super attentive and I really appreciated that. The restaurant isn't huge but it looks like they could accommodate a larger party if you called first. Not sure they do reservations but its worth a call if you plan on bringing more than 5 or 6 people.“

The sushi itself is pretty well put together, though when I stopped in the rice seemed a little under seasoned and a little under temperature by the time it was served.

I like the vibe. Just feels right; a small cozy establishment that's fairly casual but still feels nicely put together and polished. Friendly staff working here as well.

Best uni and ikura I've had since Japan (makes sense as they import theirs straight from there). But we really came from the mapo tofu - did not disappoint.
