So honestly, it pains me to write this review because I have been visiting this restaurant, since it first opened in the neighborhood of Southern Highlands back years and years ago. It was my husband and I's favorite place to get chicken parm for all of these years, but the last time we went, the chicken had that awful, rubbery texture. I ordered a slider plate which was on special. It was six various slide with fries. They delivered a massive plate with onion rings, tater tots with cold cheese on them, breadsticks, fried shrimp and two mini chili dogs. We said we ordered the slider plate and this was not what we ordered. They were uncomfortably emphatic that this was in fact what we ordered. We were confounded by their audacity. Highly recommend chef al's cheesecake, very creamy and delicious!The veggie skillet was filling but seemed to lack flavor. Very good fries on the side though.I also wish the place had more vegetarian options. But overall great experience in getting takeout :)
