Not sure if the owner is a new owner but it was awkward having him sitting in the corner micro managing everything and everyone in the establishment. I can see how this can discourage some people from returning. Hopefully he can figure this out before he starts to lose business.“

“After having a terrible experience at another nearby spot, we decided to give Sago’s Tavern a try, and I’m so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we were immediately greeted and made to feel welcome. It was such a refreshing change.

The service was absolutely phenomenal. I can’t remember our waitress’s name, but she had red hair and was incredible—friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel like she cared about our experience. She was one of the best servers we’ve had in a long time.

The food was amazing, everything came out fresh and delicious, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. This place completely turned our night around. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Sago’s Tavern to friends and family. Thank you for such a great experience!“

“The staff has always been great. Very attentive when needed and know when they can hang back and not make you feel like you have to give them something to do. I go there because they have pool tables. They're not great and are squished into a side area that also has a dart board. So everyone is kind of on top of each other and sometimes the wall and/tables and/or chairs and/or the Top Golf video game that's also squished into the small side area everyone wants to get into. But the atmosphere makes it tolerable. So literally the only reason they don't get 5 stars is because they have plenty of room to spread out there games most of their patrons want to play, but they have everything shoved into the smallest area they have in the building other than behind the bar. Doesn't make a lot of sense, but why would they be worried about it when business is good. I didn't eat the food, but it's the same menu ask the PTs and other Kopper Kegs have available. Basic bar food, not really great but will suffice if you need to get something in your belly.“

So I call restaurant and after talking to a manager they literally remade the order and had one of their OWN employees deliver it to us. Know that is what you call customer service. “This place is never a bad choice!The staff is super friendly, and the slot machines actually give you a good run while you kick back with a beer or two. If you play pool, you can’t beat their weekday special—just $6 an hour for table time before 3 PM.
The equipment is exceptionally well-maintained, and even the house cues are straight and solid. Great vibe, too, with chill classic rock playing in the background and quick kitchen service. Do yourself a favor and get the food: they make a killer, juicy burger, and the wings are top-tier. Perfect spot to hang out with a few friends for pool, drinks, and awesome pub food. The apparent lack of patrons can be attributed to no advance word be given to the public about the venue. after the closure of the karaoke bar at the Aloha Kitchen on Decatur and Sahara. The only notice at this site was "Closed for reconstruction." I took it on my own to place a notice next to that sign about the reopening at the Jackpot - Fri-Sat. Except for that notice, no one would have known about the Jackpot. Example of the dedication, one patron caught an ""Uber" roundtrip from Centennial Hills. My count for the patrons was 4 for the first Friday and 21 for the next Friday. Liza can you at least open for Fridays and go from there. Respectfully "Hawaiian Playboy."“

“You KNOW I don’t give 5 stars and I would have called this a whole in the wall but THIS is a hometown favorite for the locals and honestly my new spot! This is a whole vibe! There’s NONE of the strip glitz and glamor but if you’re looking for a tried and true menu, great food, great service, great music and a fun time… this is it. The bartenders give a great pour and the cook is personable and accommodating. It is a bit of the beaten path but you won’t regret it i promise! Go and ENJOY!“
