Safe, clean room, and perfectly okay to stay here. I have stayed at all the nicest properties on the strip. I stayed because I wanted to be close to the airport the day before I left. I was super skeptical because I know it's located in a bad part of town. Meaning don't venture off the property once you get there. Boyd does a nice job with their properties regardless of age. Very clean, inviting hotel room. The interior atrium is so beautiful and romantic at night. The bed was comfortable. There was a good selection of inexpensive food. The movie theatre was inexpensive. There was a bowling alley. This is a great choice if you have kids, since one parent can have fun gambling while the other bowls with the kids, uses the arcade, or sees a movie. Massive Walmart across the street - very convenient. This is our new go-to hotel.

This January we had a very positive experience at Sam's Town. We spent the greater part of the afternoon exploring the beautiful atrium and shops and did a little gambling. While at the tables in the casino, we had some great conversations with the staff. Everyone from security, to the dealers, and the wait staff was the nicest and most accommodating than any we've ever experienced in Vegas.
