Place is a ghost town and machines don't pay. Won't be going back. They need a total makeover.

This January we had a very positive experience at Sam's Town. We spent the greater part of the afternoon exploring the beautiful atrium and shops and did a little gambling. While at the tables in the casino, we had some great conversations with the staff. Everyone from security, to the dealers, and the wait staff was the nicest and most accommodating than any we've ever experienced in Vegas. The best moment was the cocktail server, who we believe is named Kerry, who bent over backwards to take care of me when I began feeling overheated. She quickly brought me multiple waters and cups of ice to help cool me down. She checked on me several times. Such genuine and thoughtful service! The security worker spent time talking with us about the history of Sams and the surrounding areas as well. Everyone acted like family and treated is as such. When we come back to Vegas, we are booking rooms here! Thank, Sam's, for treating us as valued patrons.

I dont appreciate when a bingo employee tells me Ssshhhh (techinically keep your voice down) just for that same employee to come around and chat as loud as I was chatting when she sshuusshed me....Fyi.. her name is Leslie

Safe, clean room, and perfectly okay to stay here. I have stayed at all the nicest properties on the strip. I stayed because I wanted to be close to the airport the day before I left. I was super skeptical because I know it's located in a bad part of town. Meaning don't venture off the property once you get there. Boyd does a nice job with their properties regardless of age. Was the casino old and smokey? You bet. Plenty of food options, very much a locals joint. For the price tag, it served its purpose. It's too far from the strip to call a vacation destination, but if you're on a budget it works. I'm glad when they spent money to remodel they did it on the rooms! There's always a guard at the elevators to your room. Was glad to see that.

we checked in at 4 am after a long travel night and went to our rooms, got a phone call and knock at our door at 4:30 and 4:45 saying our card declined over a 20$ charge that we didn't know we were getting. turned out to be the receptionists fault and didn't input the information correctly. these people messed with the wrong grumpy musicians :/

I used to come here a lot. We had to wait 15 minutes for the valet to drop off the car and now it's been 25 minutes to pick it up. Went to Friday's for dinner and that took almost an hour before we received our food. Boyd group you need to hire more employees!

Sams town casino Las Vegas. Needs ELD lights installed inside the casino floor and movie theater is like no one cares the way the casino lights look like some are not working why have a casino and movie theater so dark or don't care for maintenance even the electric ladder doesn't work. Very dark spots and unsafe for customers.

Typical old Vegas casino. But there's some issues. No buffet, it seems the profit is more important than bringing people in. Friday's sucks just plain sucks. No buffet no cafe there is a deli however. Friday's for breakfast. The staff at Fridays and the Winchester bar are extremely rude and really shouldn't be in the hospitality business. Unfortunately there's really nothing to draw me to the place. Which is sad.

Very clean, inviting hotel room. The interior atrium is so beautiful and romantic at night. The bed was comfortable. There was a good selection of inexpensive food. The movie theatre was inexpensive. There was a bowling alley. This is a great choice if you have kids, since one parent can have fun gambling while the other bowls with the kids, uses the arcade, or sees a movie. Massive Walmart across the street - very convenient. This is our new go-to hotel.

Located all the way on the opposite end of the strip. More like a local casino, there's a movie theatre inside/connected, some fast food spots to eat and some restaurants, as well as shops. The casino part itself is very smokey, but the inner part where the waterfall is is a smoke free zone. The waterfall is definitely one of the best features for this place.

Very nice place. Somewhat reasonable prices compared to the rest of Vegas. It's a large hotel. Very well kept. Our room and everywhere we saw was very clean. The staff were all very pleasant. It's far from the Strip and Fremont street. They are several miles away. You would definitely have to drive or get a ride almost anywhere you go. But the hotel itself does have a lot to do. Big casino, big name entertainment, a bowling alley, movie theater, and several food options, from fast food to nice restaurants. And its across the street from a big Walmart. There was an awards show going on in the hotel, and I saw several famous rock stars walking around afterwards!

I had a great time. The food was really good and the rooms are all new. The front desk person ( Alicia) was very nice and upgraded me. The casino has a smoke smell but the indoor court yard is really nice. Bar fun to

The main attraction is the show on top of the waterfall. The casino has been around for decades. A regular playground of my youth, where I spent countless hours at the movie theater or arcade. I will admit that you can see the age of the place. The usual buffet and high end restaurant are gone at the time of this review. I hope they come back. I'm glad it has some family experiences like the bowling alley and ice cream shop. A nice, affordable casino to have a good time and not go broke.

We spent a lot of time and money at Sam's Town many, many years ago. It was our "go-to" place and we loved everything about it. We were shocked when we arrived and stayed the night. The rooms were extremely dated, many staff members were rude (starting with the guy at the rewards desk who rolled his eyes and said "yeah, I've heard it all before"when I told him about how much fun we used to have there). The bartending staff shared that the place had become a dangerous "dump" and I had to agree when I witnessed two fights within one hour where the police were called in. It didn't feel safe, it didn't feel clean, and I'm sad that Sam's Town is no longer a shining star.
