I started with the Caesar salad and the maple-glazed bacon appetizer—both incredible. The Caesar was crisp and perfectly balanced, while the bacon was thick-cut, smoky, and sweet with just the right amount of richness to get the evening started right. For entrées, I ordered both the Australian Wagyu Flat Iron and the A5 Japanese Wagyu, and let me just say—wow. The Australian Wagyu was deeply flavorful, tender, and beautifully marbled. But the A5? Next level. Melt-in-your-mouth perfection with layers of buttery umami that left a lasting impression. What made the experience truly unforgettable was the service. “The bartender and waiter always improvises a mocktail for me is my favorite part. The hostess always gets my napkin for me. Service is great. Server comes to the table often. Wished they still had lamb. Also, the lobster portions used to be small. Desserts are pretty but tastes okay. A little too creamy. High end, but the salads are very reasonable. They always allow us to share salad, so we get two salads instead of one. Food is very filling and delicious. Music is really nice all the time. <3 Miss coming here! :P“

“My husband and I looked forward to this meal for 5 months. It was everything we imagined and hoped for and then some! The steak was perfection, we wished the jumbo lobster never ended and the table side Caesar was delicious! “We had dinner at this very elegant and sophisticated restaurant. Although it has a very upscale vibe, you can equally feel the charm and warmth it provides. The food was prepared well and the staff were all friendly, polite, professional, and helpful. Our servers Zoe and Terrick were both amazing, attentive, and professional! We will definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who desires a similar experience.“

“I try to dine at the Redwood Bar and Grill at least once during my stay in Downtown Las Vegas. This restaurant offers good food and drinks for a reasonable price. What draws me to dine here is their signature cocktail, Blood Orange Whiskey Sour. You can go anyway in Las Vegas for a good ribeye steak but you can only get the Blood Orange Whiskey Sour Cocktail at Redwood Bar and Grill located in the California Casino Hotel. Their service is exceptional and attentive to the diner's needs. My Waiter, James knew me from my previous visits and presented me with my favorite cocktail without having to ask. What a way to start a delicious meal.! The restaurant is relaxing and casual but you have the option of dressing up for those special occasions. I highly recommend this restaurant. Ask for James to be your waiters. He'll take good care of you!“

“We stayed at the strat and ate dinner. Here one night. Best food we had during our stay. we had the BBQ platter(large we shared) scalloped potatoes, Mac and cheese and corn succotash. Everything we ate was outstanding. We also had strawberry dessert 🍰 in a Mason jar and oh my... it was delicious 😋 If we ever visit las vegas again we will definitely be eating here again. our waiter was very good and helpful on recommendations for the food.“

“I feel Like Someone needs to reply to this comment. Tia, if you are saying that yoir server was nice and patient, the. Why would you insult your server by only tipping them $20 on a 500 tab? I think your server felt like you needed that $20 more then they did, and thought they were really doing you a favor. You should have left that server $60 at the very least . And that’s if the service was bad. You said that your service was good. I feel like my 5 stars are needed to cancel out your one. Do better for our servers.“

“The food here is always incredible, and that was still the case for this experience. Everything here is amazing, been dining here almost every trip for the last 15 years. My only request is to ease up on the hard push for alcohol purchases. I understand the mark up on drinks is a money maker, but not everyone drinks these days. Just take the “no thank you” and let us move on, or offer something non alcoholic like soda or a spritzer. It is to the point that I am getting uncomfortable with how many times I have to decline.“

“A must! I come to Vegas often for business and travel the country for work, I consider myself a connoisseur of fine steaks. I just had the pleasure of trying the 8oz filet mignon and easily in my top 5 favorite steaks maybe even top 3. The temperature i requested (medium rare) was cooked to perfection. The seasoning provided a perfect steak flavor seared to a beautiful crust that needed no help from additional sauces. The fact that I was able to get a last minute reservation to Mae Daly's is mind blowing. Easily the best steak I've had in Vegas regardless of cost and Mae's prices are perfect if not under what I would think from this quality as I've had steaks at 3 times the cost that dont match up.

As if the flavor wasn't enough, the quiet and peaceful atmosphere was perfect for a little getaway off the busy strip. The customer service was also on point. From the moment we pulled into the parking lot we were greeted by Mae's staff assisting with the car door and guiding us into the establishment. We'll done Mae's Daly! I hope great things for this restaurant and cant wait to bring my whole crew here next year for our annual Vegas business dinner.“

“This was the second steakhouse of my Bachelor party week in Las Vegas. Of the two, this one provided a more elegant experience. The service was attentive and the plates beautifully presented. I had the aged Rib-eye, which was the best steak of my trip. I would highly recommend putting this steakhouse on anyone's food destination if in Las Vegas.“
