Picked up 4 different types of cakes on Valentine's Day-- strawberry short cake, cheese cake, double fromage and grape. I called in advance to see if anything had run out and they told me they had plenty of all, so I sent my son to pick up the desserts. When he got there they were out of the cheesecakes and my son had to wait an hour for them to make them fresh! Finally tried their cheesecake! Got their regular cheesecake as well as the matcha one. Their Japanese cheesecake was fluffy and light. The matcha one had some sort of cream/ice cream like consistency in the middle. Both were great and I would definitely come back!

So, I have never had Japanese cheesecake before. I had no clue what to expect other than the name implies cheese. And it is good. It has the texture if a souffle but has some cheese cake flavour in it. Good but not what I would call a cheese cake. Worth trying but might try something else next time. They have lots of yummy looking deserts.
