“I have been following La Paleta for some time now. It has been in my list of places to visit and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! My sister and I went and received the best service along with the delicious items we tried today. We will be back to try more! The owners were very personable and really went the extra mile for us. They asked how spicy we wanted the Elote and it was spot on!! it is very clear they use nothing but the freshest ingredients! Next time waffle paleta!! highly recommend giving them a try“
“I really like this place. It has a vibe inside, but I noticed about a month ago that you can’t call in your order anymore. They have an auto message that tries to get you to place an order online, which has higher prices, and if you try to speak with someone, you just get a busy line. This has kept me from coming back. Most of the time I’d like my food to go and don’t want to have to wait for the food, and not paying more to order online. Kinda disappointed as this spot is pretty good.“
“One of the best meals I've eaten in my life. Highly recommend it, totally worth going out of your way if you're visiting from out of town. I had the pambazo, their house specialty), and the al pastor, nopales, and rajas tacos, and a horchata. Finger licking good. And FYI that it's located in the El Mercado food court (separate from the regular mall food court).Vegetarian options: 100 percent vegan“
“Wow- this place is amazing! It’s no secret, so there was quite a wait, but it was worth it. It was our first time, so we had to get the flaming fajitas. Everything tasted fantastic, and the service and atmosphere were all great too! And reasonable prices- Once again, Wow! We’re from out of town. But whenever we go to Vegas we’ll be coming back!“
“Love the food! It was really good and the ambience was the delightful. I tried the do set the electric coffee and it was really gooI tried the dulce de leche coffee and it was perfect for me. If you like sweet coffee, I recommend adding sugar or more dulce de leche. Also, the service here was awesome! Kind people.“
“The authentic food is plentiful and delicious! The service is absolutely incredible! You don’t find friendliness, attention to detail, and quick, attentive service like this anymore. Our party was in awe at the smooth rhythm to which they worked. And the atmosphere is warm, cozy, inviting, and cheerful. All around a delightful experience! We will definitely be returning and recommending this spot!Kid-friendliness: They offered a high chair, kids menu, and crayons to color the menu.“
“We came from New York to Las Vegas on vacation, and a friend recommended this restaurant to us, the service was very good, the food was super delicious, there were mariachis, quite an experience... the drinks were very delicious. I recommend trying El Cantarito, we left very comfortable. and very “
“We are from East Texas and a friend recommended this place and I have to say that we are so happy we tried it! Had an awesome time. Food and service was great. Will go anytime we go to Vegas and already recommended it to people going to Vegas!“
“First time l tried Menudo. It is made by cow stomach. It was so delicious soup .l loved it. I got 2 big bierra tacos with cheese. It was made by goat meat. Its incredibly flavorful mexican dish. Staff is very friendly. I really enjoy to eat super delicious Mexican foods. I highly recommend it.“
“Such a cute spot! Semi welcomed me with a big warm smile! The reviews got me here but the food and HOUSE MADE HORCHATA will keep me coming back! Their specialty is Birria as the owner is from Guadalajara. I ordered the Birria Quesadilla and I am such a happy camper!****De-li-clous!!!****A must try!!“
“We were celebrating my 21st birthday in Vegas and I had heard of this adorable little spot, and had to check it out. It did not disappoint!! Our server was so incredibly sweet and our drinks and food were amazing!! A small, adorable little place for those who appreciate tequila and a not-too crazy environment:)“
“Delicious food, very generous. It's worth coming to dinner. We ordered the medium roast potatoes and meat and 3 people easily eat them. We also ordered the Pacman burrito and it was very tasty, 2 people ate that dish. The people who attended were very friendly.“
“Really solid, authentic Mexican food. Pretty large portion sizes, definitely more than your typical street taco spot. I tried the adobada and chorizo. The adobada was good but I wish it was spicier and had a stronger flavor. The chorizo was not great - it was incredibly mild and kind of dry. All of the other ingredients were great, and I’d definitely like to go back and try the carne asada. The method of service is different but effective - you walk up to the various line cooks to order dishes and then take your tray up to the cashier to pay for everything. Dining area was spacious and had lots of natural light.“
“Visited here from Toronto a few weeks ago for breakfast. We saw this restaurant on Guy Fieri Diners Drive Ins n Dives show several months ago. Ordered the Huevos a la Mexicana, the Chorizo & Eggs and the Cafe De Olla. The coffee which we had black was one of the best coffee we ever had. The cup that it was served in was really nice too. The Huevos which is basically an omlette was ok. My wife said the eggs could have been cooked a little longer. The chorizo snd eggs was good snd flavourful. The chorizo came as crumbled and I found the true taste of the chorizo to be lacking probably due to the fact the pieces were so tiny. The service was good and our sever was very friendly. The map where people can place pins where they are from needs to be updated lol. Only a small part of Canada was on the map and odd that Toronto which is a major city was not listed lol. Overall I give this restaurant a 4 out of 5. Our next visit here to Vegas We hope to try their lunch or dinner service.“
“OOH-RAH! I heard about this place from a fellow Marine of mine back here in Michigan. So, I made it a mission to visit while in town and I absolutely love this place......for obvious reasons. Now, it doesn't matter if you served or not, you have to go just for the simple fact of history. Just going in you get a sense of getting some knowledge as you walk through and see the history on the walls. Love the tributes and love my beloved Corps. Will be back when in town and please make sure you get some chow while you are here. YUT! Oh....and yes that is a gas mask hanging in the bathroom stall.....LOL....Love It“
“Delicioso! We found our new favorite restaurant #1.“
“This is my FAVORITE taco shop !!! Their food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! my favorite things are there El pastor tacos and quesadillas and their shrimp tacos !!!! They have handmade tortillas that give your food a great authentic taste !! And I'm in love with then .. I come here nearly everyday for my lunch cuz I work close by .. the people that work there are the most nicest ppl too and will always take care of you and serve you with a smile , my orders are always spot on ! .. anytime my friends and family want some quick Mexican food I ALWAY tell them to go here ... And anytime my patients at work ask about this place and if it's any good I ALWAYS tell them YES !! ITS THE BEST !!“
“Didn't know what to expect, I was worried because the Mexican food around the area is not the best, but turn's out there is a little Gem hidden in this small but unexpectedly clean and inviting restaurant.I'm really picky when it comes to tacos and I gotta say without holding back it deserves to be recognized as the best taco place in all Las Vegas. I'm definitely coming back for more. Muy buen trabajo mis compatriotas Mexicanos!“
“Great cheap champagne brunch with the buffet. The servers and bus boys are very attentive. The food in the buffet section was delicious. They have menudo and the classic Mexican dishes. The brunch also has pastas if you crave italian. Birthday celebrations here are fun and memorable. I would definitely recommend II Toro E LA Capra for a great Sunday brunch!!“
“Hole in the wall restaurant with some delicious food. I ordered the Baja Burger which came with shrimp. At first I was not too sure how shrimp would taste in a burger but it's great! The service was amazing and their prices are affordable!Shout out to Sophia she did an amazing job checking on us and making sure that our experience there was great!“
“Amazing food, taste, and presentation. The service was great, very welcoming and polite. The inside of restaurant was clean and very presentable. My favorite, other than the food, was the Mexican art on the wall which completed the great experience. I would defenitly recommend. A 10 out of 10.“
“Went down with some friends and family, had a great time with the staff and owner. Not a true review because I’m not a huge Mexican food fan. Carne Asada Fries could feed a football team. Drinks were nice but the Server (Shantel) was awesome. Very engaging and made us feel welcomed and relax. Great service from everyone and really nice place. Music - SPEECHLESS. Timeless and just chill. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Excellent service, we ordered the carne asada and the mixed ceviche. Both were delicious. I had the Mango mojito☆☆☆☆☆ my husband had a Modelo. It was my husband's birthday, so they sang to him and brought him a plate of Churros, which he enjoyed ???“
“I’m not even vegetarian but this was bomb ?. I got the carne and chorizo. Everything tasted ? and seasoned well. The service and atmosphere is great too. With outdoor seating as well. Overall I had a good experience and will definitely be back.“
“What a find! The complimentary tacos and salsa were such a great start. House Marg was refreshing and the Grande is a perfect size, tip - get one to go! Carne Asada Street Tacos so flavourful, perfect portion size and the side beans and rice were both excellent. Try the Coconut Calamari, arrived as fillets with a spicy dipping sauce instead of the traditional style and it so works! It was so good! A fantastic experience start to finish.“
“The food gets 5 stars because it tastes amazing, but the wait time is just way too long. It is drive thru only and they had 1 person running back & forth between the car & the food truck taking orders then delivering them 1 by 1. It would be more efficient if ppl were allowed to walk up to place an order like normal food trucks. There were about 7 cars in front of us and it took 30 mins.“
“Ate here 3x in one week because it's hands down the best vegan dinner option in Vegas.Everything is plant based! The mushroom asada, fish taco, and plantain taco are my favorites but nothing is disappointing there. The coconut cake with caramel drizzle was perfect.“
“An excellent family owned Mexican restaurant that I wish I had more time on our trip to eat at again. The Mexican pizza was awesome and I highly recommend. Ask for some hot sauce if you want to add some heat to it. The birria meat was exceptional. We had it both as a plate and in a burrito. The service was awesome and they answered all our questions while ordering. I highly recommend this place!“
“What an experience! Amazing birria... Best of Vegas! When we walked in we were greeted with a smile and instantly felt like family. We had the plate of goat cooked to tender perfection that fell right off the bone as we dug in. Refried beans are next level with birria juice that adds the perfect richness and flavor. The fresh made tortillas and consume were like a big hug. Love this spot and can't wait to return!“
“We are locals and decided to head to the strip to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. (A little staycation) My husband and I both agreed on Nacho Daddy for dinner, and we are glad we did. This was our first time dining at Nacho Daddy. We did have a reservation and even with the holiday, we were sat quickly. The hostess at the front (didn’t get her name) was very nice and was worked very well under pressure. She sat us in Leo’s station. We couldn’t have been happier. Leo had a lot of energy, was very knowledgeable with the menu and extremely friendly. Since it was our first time dining, I asked Leo his recommendation on a Nacho dish and I’m glad I took his advice. I ordered the Chicken Tinga Nachos. And my husband ordered the Chicken Enchiladas. Both dishes were not only correct (with our modifications) but came out super fast. The dishes were so good. My nachos were flavorful and pretty filing. The chicken enchiladas were plentiful and delicious. Leo did a great job servicing us. He came over many times to check in on us to make sure things were going well and to make sure we needed anything. Leo provided such exceptional service. His positive energy, great attitude and personality made our night very special. This location is highly recommended for all people. We ended up sitting in a booth (inside), but they do have bar and outdoor seating. We also noticed that a lot of people were ordering the Fajitas. Looked like a very popular dish. Thanks Leo for making our 1st time experience a memorable one. We will be back to see you again soon.“
“Such delicious food! Such welcoming, charming owners! Such gorgeous handpainted murals (done by the owner Mr.)! We enjoyed the Taquitos Dorados Plate, loaded with Birria ($4.66 upcharge), QuesaBirria Tacos (3), both plates accompanied by their yummy whole Pinto beans and some of the most delicious Rice I've had in any Mexican restaurant in the U.S. One of the items we loved most is their Cup of Carne en Su Jugo (fairly pricey at $9.26, but to be fair, there was more than a cup there, and plenty of meat, and it came with a fresh flour tortilla. The Horchata was very good. Our only criticism is that Chips and Salsa ($6.16) are not free with your meal, but again, their chips are warm and their salsas are excellent. We'll be back for sure.“
“Although they have ñ other items, I love that they specialize in Gorditas They have quite a selection of "guisados" to choose from. They also offer both corn or flour gorditas. I go here for lunch at least once a month. They have great service and even better food!“
“Taco Tuesday is my favorite day at Tacotarian. Some of the classic tacos are only $1.99 although all the tacos are already so cheap any day of the week. I always get the mushroom asada, plantain con mole, and dorado which fills me up perfectly. Their green mild sauce is super tasty too.“
“We started with guacamole and the street corn with shrimp. The guacamole was average but the street corn was delicious! Our entrees included carne asada burritos, great, and the pulled chicken quesadilla, also really good. Quite a lot of food, if you are hungry. Our server was responsive but not hovering - just right. We have also been to the Hola in Southern Highlands and I like the ambiance of this location better.“
“Was nice place bar tender is incredible best bar tender I will. Be back. Just for him, I don't remember his name, but he has curly hairKid-friendliness: Is a seccion at the bar where u can sit with kids. And watch ur favorite sport“
“I went to the summerlin location, which I think is less of a tourist location and was fairly empty on this Thursday night. Our server was attentive and quick and we ordered pretty easily. I had a Michelada- 5/10. Very basic. 3 of us shared the triple dip which had guac, queso, and 3 types of salsa for $18. Definitely worth the price, and every dip was a solid 8/10. We also shared the spicy shrimp nachos, which were great. Every chip was layered and had toppings, and the spinach chips were delicious. It was a little spicy but nothing too crazy, and again, the flavors were great. My friend had the skinny margarita but said it was too tart, which for $15 seems disappointing. Overall I'd say this place was good but expect to spend money.“
“We just flew back into town and decided to try La Barbacoa located close to the airport. We had seen posts about it on different social media and had to see for ourselves if it lived up to the hype. When we walked in we were greeted right away by our friendly server. It was early so we were the only ones there and sat in a booth. It's a fairly larger space and the tables were spread out and not crowded. The furniture was a little run down but not a big deal. We chose some items from the lunch special menu and we received our drinks right away. The chips and salsa were good but just a little small. We could've asked for more but the food came out quick. Everything was very tasty. The birria meat was cooked well and was pretty tender and juicy. The dipping consome lacked some flavor but wasn't terrible. My wife's burrito was packed and the carne asada was flavorful. Overall the service and food were really good and we would definitely go back to try more if we are that side of town. Give them a try for yourself and see how you like it.“
“Tacos Del Julio UNLV is a short drive off the strip near UNLV - Maybe a 10 minute drive from Las Vegas Blvd. Regardless of where you are coming from I can 100% guarantee that you will not be disappointed. These tacos are delicious, yummy, tasty, fresh, and hot. The place is modern and clean! I tried a taco de lengua and a carne asada burrito. Wow! Que rico estaba la lengua esa! They Burrito was also very good. They have a nice Michelada / Beer Bar which is plan to try when I return. They take pride in their product and service. I need to confirm but apparently they are from Monterrey, MX and also have a taco place in Paris, France - WHAT??? Go ahead and give Tacos Del Julio a try and I'm sure you will become a repeat customer.“
“El Norte Taco Shop- A great place for a quick lunch.Rating: ????? (5/5)El Norte Taco Shop in Las Vegas is truly a hidden gem! During my recent visit, I found that their menu offers a wide variety of options, but my focus was on their delectable street tacos. The juicy carne asada filling, paired with the fresh tortilla and the flavorful combination of onions and cilantro, made for an unforgettable taste experience. The efficiency of the staff in taking and delivering orders, as well as the inviting atmosphere, further enhanced my overall dining experience. In conclusion, El Norte Taco Shop is the perfect spot for a satisfying, quick lunch.“
“Tacos, margaritas, tequila…brunch atmosphere. This place has it all. The DJ for Pink Brunch was amazing. You may think this is a hole in the wall or something completely curated from the corporate world but be sure that is completely not the case. An absolute must try when in Las Vegas ?? Parking: Find the parking lot right next door or across the street.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access“
“I absolutely enjoy their spin on Mexican food. Their fresh ingredients and freshly cooked food is a breath of fresh air for your typical fast casual dining. The staff is always welcoming. The main purpose of our visit was because they were participating in school fundraiser where percentage of sales went to my kids school. Which of course that is commendable. With reference to the food. While we waited the staff was kind enough to bring chips to our table as a lil aperitif. Kudos on realizing I was with two hangry kids. My daughter had the kids cheese quesadilla with Mexican rice and black beans. It was simple and delicious she ate it all! My son got the crispy chicken, brown rice and black bean bowl. Everything was fresh. I got the grilled chicken power plate with roasted seasonal veggies and yams. Delish! A perfectly balanced meal. Fresh veggies. Chicken was done right. I added a lil bit of green salsa to add a kick and it was great. Only thing I wish there was a bigger variety for fountain drinks and perhaps healthier? The food menu is more organic and then there's soda lol“
“A nice sized restaurant with about 10 tables with some Hispanic music in the background. The staff were all very nice and attentive We really enjoyed our food: The árabe taco was unique and flavorful and came with a sweet chipotle sauce that was delicious. They use a flour tortilla vs a corn one. The carne asada taco had great flavor and they did not skimp on the meat. Meat was not dry but had that nice grilled flavor The lengua was tender but needed a little salt The Al pastor was delicious in the taco and vampiro - we enjoyed the flavor and liked that small pieces of pineapple were mixed in. The salsas had good flavor with a little kick. Solid place to grab some fast Mexican food as we enjoyed everything“
“Been in Vegas for a few days now and was craving some Mexican food so we decided to try out this Mexican cantina near our hotel. The restaurant was located in Boca Park and it had a lovely outdoor area decorated with string lights and candles. Our waiter, David was knowledgeable about the margaritas and the history of the restaurant. We decided to ordered some margaritas, and some l ceviche as the starter. For the main course, a combination plate and chorizo and potato enchiladas. The original margarita and raspbertia were both excellent and you can choose between tajin, salt, or sugar for the rim. The ceviche wasn’t too shabby and went well with the tortilla chips (which the waiter gave us a complimentary refill), however, it was just missing some spice. For the combination plate, we chose the chicken tacos, carnitas tacos, and beef taquitos which was good but some guacamole would have completed the dish. As for the chorizo and potato enchiladas, the three sauces on top were delicious, especially the tomatillo sauce since it had the most flavor. But, the enchiladas were lacking in chorizo, it was more of a potato enchilada with a hint of chorizo. Overall, our experience was pleasant, maybe it’s because I’m used to California’s Mexican food but the dishes just need more spice and flavor.“
“Ona business trip and was feeling like soup. Tried the “Swallow a Cloud” wonton soup. I watched as a woman made the fresh wontons. The combination of the noodles, bok choy, and these wontons was delicious with a smidge of chili oil. I will say that the service also exceeded my expectations.“
“We had the best quesabirria tacos with consommé we've ever had. We also shared the al pastor torta which was also delicious. The service is basic but efficient and the decor's no-frills, but the place is clean and comfortable. We'll be back.“
“This is the best pollo (chicken) in all Las Vegas everything they serve is delicious from there chicken to the potatoes spaghetti beans and I can’t forget the delicious best menudo I have ever had!!! If I could rate this with 10 stars I would . This is are number one stop coming from Idaho!!“
“A little hard to find but worth the extra look. I am a breakfast person and went out of my way to find a really excellent breakfast in the entirety of the LV metro area. Buena came up in a couple of searches, in the must try category. I was acknowledged immediately and seated on a lovely little patio. It was 80 degrees at arrival and the patio was very comfortable. The menu is informative and easy to navigate. I found exactly what I wanted and it took just a few short minutes to arrive. The food was excellent and I was in and out in 30 minutes but didn't feel rushed. I had enough time to go and try another spot they were so quick. But of course the portion was plenty to fill me. I will be back!!“
“I just moved into the apartments across the street from here and I’ve been coming here once a week at least because the food is amazing! The staff is super friendly they are family owned and you can feel such a positive energy from them. This food is definitely made with LOVE ?“
“This location has the best and freshest tasting breakfast burritos of any Mexican fare in the area that I have yet had. We come regularly for them. They are huge and well priced for $6.50 a pop between 8 am and 11 am. They weigh about 2 lbs each and hail back to the days of how much you would get for a Macho Combo Burrito from another local fast food place that has fre shava do.Come here for your breakfast burritos!“
“Everything is excellent, the café de roca is the best I have ever had, the food is very delicious, the waitress is very friendly, Gloria, in fact, all the staff, I am delighted with this place, I do recommend it and of course I will return one day... thank you for everything.“
