Worst cupcakes I ever had! Very dry! Hard as rocks! Not fresh! You couldn’t pay me to try them again! Waist of my money! I would have returned them but I don’t live anywhere near there!

Dollar store cupcake meets an ounce of cream cheese frosting. 4.55$ please. Also the lady working the register isn't all that friendly.Cupcakes do look cool though, but the texture and taste are just... not good.

Batch is a cute little shop with a friendly staff. That being said, take the word "cupcakery" quite literally. There is not very much to choose from. There are cupcakes, of course, and a few cookies to choose from. I got the brown rice "crispy treats" and something called a "caveman" snack bar. The rice crispy treats were actually quite good. I did low-key enjoy the "caveman" bars. The flavor was good, but the texture is...."brick-y" comes to mind. If you get those, I highly recommend a hot cup of coffee or tea for dunking. Unfortunately, if I boil it down to one sentence: I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

I've bought these many times and I'm posting a review as a note to myself: you don't actually like these cupcakes very much. Yesterday's purchase was dry as sand. Ugh. There are now better options all over town.

Honestly, these cupcakes were not good. I had been wanting to try this place for years, and I was super disappointed. They were severely lacking in flavor and not worth $5 each.

Customer service needs improvement!!!The young lady who works there didn't say a single word to us the entire time we were there. I brushed it off but the most uncomfortable feeling arose when she just stood there watching us as if we were going to steal something and just had an unfriendly vibe overall ?. My mom and I felt unwelcomed so we left without purchasing anything.

Whoa... first time trying this place and unfortunately I won't be back. The cupcakes were dry and crumbly; they didn't taste fresh. I am not sure if they were actually old cupcakes or just bad texture but either way they came across as stale. This was a consistent review from everyone in our group (we bought half a dozen cupcakes of different varieties)-- and we didn't even order anything unique like vegan or gluten free. My 4 1/2 year old didn't even protest when it was time to leave even though he still had bites of cupcake left. Also, the tables are so low (the table top is at your knee height); it's incredibly uncomfortable and adds to the crumbs going everywhere (I can see why the worker was standing ready with her broom and pan). I'll give 2 stars just because it was a cute shop and it visually looked like it could have potential but man what an incredible disappointment for a little treat that's a couple times the price of a donut.

We were needing something for our sweet tooth,, and trying to find a bakery open at 3:30 in the afternoon,, and still having cookies/cupcakes on the shelf,,,not the easiest thing to do ... but Batch Cupcakery in south Reno was open and had a pretty good supply of goodies.Chocolate cupcake was very good,, could have a little more frosting. Snickerdoodle was ok.However, they had NO coffee .And a little pricey $.I'd go back.. they have some gifts too,, if you are looking for something like that.

We recently moved into a home near Batch Cupcakery. As cake lovers, we decided to check it out right away! We went with the kids and grandparents, and selected cupcakes for after dinner. They were beautiful, but so disappointing… for such expensive and attractive cupcakes, they were extremely dry, and just not very good. Fast forward a few months, and I am having a great deal of trouble finding a bakery in Reno that will make a lemon flavored cake for my son's 8th birthday. This is my son’s favorite flavor. I decided to give Batch Cupcakery a second chance. I like to support local businesses, it’s a convenient pickup on party day, and they do a lemon flavored cake. I went in to order a cake for 20ish people, I chose the 10” round, and gave the details… It's $200! Whoa, I’ve bought full sheet cakes for less, so I go with the 8” instead. The cake looked nice when I went to get it. They won’t write a message on it for you, but it was frosted with a beautiful blue color. At the party, however, I had an incredibly difficult time slicing it, as there was a very tough crust on the outer cake beneath the frosting. Even my sharp knife couldn’t pierce it without squashing the cake below. Then it was served to the guests, and my daughter shouted out, “Mom this isn’t cake, it’s cornbread!” The cake didn’t taste like lemon at all, and it did taste exactly like dense cornbread. What’s worse, the fruit filling wasn’t present within the slices, as it had gathered in the center at the bottom and didn’t cling to the dense slices at all. Nobody liked the cake. Clearing the party table, I just threw away piece after piece of cake with only a polite bite or two eaten. It was really embarrassing, and I was so sad to have disappointed my little son.To be clear, I ordered a normal birthday cake, nothing vegan or gluten free. I used to manage a business, and I know how important it is to receive feedback about your products, so that you can do better next time. I called Batch Cupcakery the next day, and left a polite message asking for the manager to call me. The girl asked what about, and I said briefly that we had a cake the previous day that wasn’t great. An hour later, the same girl called me back to say that the manager would not be calling me, that she only does personal calls for orders or questions, and that I’d need to submit my feedback via their online inquiry form. I was pretty offended by this, and explained that I had wanted to deliver private feedback, but that if I was going to take the time to write about my experience that I would post it publicly, and that I would appreciate a call back instead. Needless to say, they didn’t call me. Not only have I had an expensive disappointment here two times, but it’s pretty clear that this business doesn’t value its customers very highly if they can’t take two minutes to hear about my bad experience. I will never be back.

In the area and wanted to stop and shop.. Super cute storefront.. with lots of goodies..Today, I am so impressed with presentation and the appeal of items..I like how the items are nicely displayed and packaged.Picked up two vegan cupcakes (for the vegan son), brown rice rice krispy treat, a peanut butter gf cookie and mocha and pineapple cupcakes. So moist and the sweetness of the frosting was perfect.. I also like variety of items.. if one wasn't in the mood for a cupcake you have different options to chose from..If coffee was an added option, id stay for the day!Glad I stopped in.. also got a punch card!Service was great and helpful!
