We were needing something for our sweet tooth,, and trying to find a bakery open at 3:30 in the afternoon,, and still having cookies/cupcakes on the shelf,,,not the easiest thing to do ... but Batch Cupcakery in south Reno was open and had a pretty good supply of goodies.Chocolate cupcake was very good,, could have a little more frosting. In the area and wanted to stop and shop.. Super cute storefront.. with lots of goodies..Today, I am so impressed with presentation and the appeal of items..I like how the items are nicely displayed and packaged.Picked up two vegan cupcakes (for the vegan son), brown rice rice krispy treat, a peanut butter gf cookie and mocha and pineapple cupcakes.So moist and the sweetness of the frosting was perfect.. Batch is a cute little shop with a friendly staff. That being said, take the word "cupcakery" quite literally. There is not very much to choose from. There are cupcakes, of course, and a few cookies to choose from. I got the brown rice "crispy treats" and something called a "caveman" snack bar. The rice crispy treats were actually quite good. I did low-key enjoy the "caveman" bars. The flavor was good, but the texture is...."brick-y" comes to mind. If you get those, I highly recommend...read full review
