“I came in to see a friend's local band and have some cocktails with friends. It is a cool venue because it is an old house that has been converted into a bar and patio. You can bring your own items to cook on the grills or smoker, just bring a receipt to show that it is fresh. They have a great selection of whiskey, tequila, and other spirits. Their cocktails are top-notch.“

“Walking into Homegrown Gastropub was a surprise. There's a vintage, gothic, rustic vibe going on. Classic 60's and 70's rock was playing and the seating was intimate. My best friend and I wanted to try something new and we couldn't have picked a better spot! Stephanie was our server and bartender. She was very attentive and had great recommendations. I got the turkey pesto sandwich and my friend got the crab cakes. Plating was spectacular and the food was fresh and yummy. I went against Stephanie's suggestion and found out why I should have listened. My sandwich came out smelling like a turkey dinner and tasted amazing. However, I got a decent sized bone in mine and it seems like that's a common reoccurance. So be cautious, that may be a bone and not bacon...We are mom's balling on a budget and I did not expect to spend over $100 when ordering only one entree. We got a sandwich that came with fries, crab cakes, a cucumber salad and 2 margaritas. Maybe I just don't got out as often anymore and this is average for others, but I would have liked to spend less.It was totally worth it, though. We enjoyed every aspect of this place from the ambiance to the staff to the food, it's still worth a 5 star rating!Parking: Trying to park in midtown is always a joke. There's no street parking directly in front of Homegrown Gastropub. There's a larger pay to park parking lot across the street and a free one on Cheney. Expect to walk no matter what.“

“The food was ok I guess. I wasn't too impressed though. The price was decent and affordable though. Service was ok to. My waiter was kinda short when talking., he seemed a little overwhelmed . It took me a minute to get the check. I sat there for about 15 minutes after he cleared my table and nothing. He didn't check back to see if I was good or needed anything. I literally had to ask the other server there for my check. I hate trying to hunt staff down in a restaurant to be honest. I get they are a busy place, but my server looked at me a few times made eye contact and never came by my table. I won't be coming back .“
